My youngest son’s grandmother was like this woman! Really didn’t want anything to do with her grandson. Had a chance to see him when she worked in a hospital and refused to come down. My son never got to know her and when she passed she passed with Alzheimer’s. Too bad my son never got to know her.

How sad for that young lady to not know her father! No matter if they say they will be in her life it will never feel that void of wanting to know her other half. That's why even with them comforting her she still looks upset. For medical history reasons it's important to know both sides of the family....so sad hopefully the mom knows who the father is and he's still alive and will accept her. I knew right away with the age gap they had that she wasn't his. One last thing...I don't know if this will be a unpopular opinion but I don't think she really thought he was ever potentially be her father.

I think there is a huge misconception of relinquishing parental rights.
Once rights are relinquished there is no obligation to pay child support. I know this for 2 reasons one is my biological father relinquished me. Two is because my oldest sons father relinquished hus rights to my son. When you stand in court the judge flat out makes it clear that you understand that once rights are relinquished the other parent is no longer responsible in anyway for the child including NO child support.
That cant be right? That you can just go to court and say that you relinquish your rights, and you dont have to pay for your child? so you dont have to take responsibility? does the mother need to agree as well?

You're wrong and need a lawyer apparently. Relinquishing on s parental rights only makes it where you can't make any decisions concerning the child. You still have to financially support the child.

The judge can order the person to still pay child support BUT have no visitation or custody. Depends on the state and the specifics around the case.

The guy who said the baby wasn't his is a sad coward. His loud mouth fiance is afraid that what drew him to his child's mother in the beginning is able to happen again. She should be afraid because he is no good.
Ohhhh, so much to say. The second segment of the show is a clear example of kids having kids and how detrimental it is to the upbringing of these babies. A huge part of being a parent is doing everything you can to put your child’s needs above your own. Case in point, they are still kids themselves. This lil BOY who is allowing himself to be controlled by his so-called fiancé needs to grow some balls and be a man and put his daughters needs first because he is being immature and down right cruel. Secondly, this future wife of yours isn’t mature enough to be a parent either and needs to stay in her lane. Any woman who tells you to not be involved in your child’s life is not a woman and is insecure immature and selfish. If she loved you then she would do everything in her power to make sure that she supported your relationship with your child and was also supportive in your co-parenting relationship with the mother. And that’s about as far as it goes. If she is insecure in your relationship with her than that’s between you and her but as far as your relationship between you and your daughters mother, then that’s none of her damn business and you need to make that clear to her. Stop having sex until you learn how to do it responsibly and be grown about yours. If you can’t feed em, don’t breed em! Also who gives a damn about how much money is being taken out of his check. He knowingly had sex unprotected and created family #1 iand isn’t there day in and day out taking care of his responsibilities so he SHOULD be handing it over graciously. Also you need to get your girl in check OK! You came out they’re all high and mighty about oh she’s going to be your wife when you should be telling your future wife to back the hell up and that she needs to be respectful to the mother of your child who has been raising her alone for three years!!! As a matter of fact you should be the calm in the storm because you have children with both of these women and whether you like it or not, all of your lives are going to be intertwined for the rest of your life. You created this situation all because you couldn’t be bothered to spend a dollar on a condom! It seems to me that the only responsible parent is in the situation is the baby mama who is raising this child alone and who is working two jobs to make sure the baby has everything that she needs. Kudos to you mama and if I were you I would keep your baby away from them until they get some kind of counseling or grow half a brain or some maturity before you expose that toxic situation to her. Am the same as trisha.i didnt know who my dad is. I grew up in the 1960ties. I had my nans surname.my mam died in 2016.a few months prior to that my mam told me that my dad was a soldier who left my mam when she got pregnant. Am now 61and i havent had a father figure in my life.
My dad told my mom to just take us all 4.. back to NY and give us away

It’s funny how Carl’s body language changes when he discovered that Adriel was is. He literally angled his body towards the ex. At the end Ola seemed to be more welcome, open, loving, and kind to both. Ola & Kayonna a phone relationship. Quanetta and Tia have a sister relationship. Too bad that Ola was not more back 10 years ago when Quanetta and her son came to met her. They could have had a relationship started all this time instead she hurt Quanetta's feelings.
