Interesting what people mean by marathon in the USA. I ran a few half marathons in Germany, but I would definitely have stopped such an ordeal straight away. Congratulations, that was an outstanding achievement! And thank you for having the energy to record it all!

Congratulations for first female after not having any specific expectations for yourself on this race. Question...if you are like most of us with a gazillion running t-shirts, what do you do with all of them? My wife had a great idea what to do with many of mine. We went through them and selected some of my older ones that still meant a lot to me, and she is going to cut the front designs out and make quit out of them. Love your videos! You have a very cool, confidence about you that is very admirable!
My idea is the same as yours. I have a pile dedicated to being a t-shirt quilt. Beyond that, you can donate them although that’s much less symbolic or nostalgic.

I used my tried and true Altra Lone Peaks. They did not dry out one bit. 😅 it was a cool, rainy day so they never had the chance.
