The verb 'to play' ends in y. But when you conjugate it in the simple present, you write "He plays". Why don't you replace Y for IES?
Because "play" has a vowel in front of the "y". The verb "enjoy" is the same. We say, "He plays football." "He enjoys football." 😃⏱🐦
