    Hi and thanks, Fishaholicboy for sharing your new deck pod by Hearlab Outdoors. Certainly, this bag has a lot of potential, many storage, and secure snaps. I am glad to know that you clarified the bag is kind of moisture resistant-ish. I have been looking for a small waterproof sling bag that I can store my cellphone since I take quite some footage while kayaking along with my Gopro. The regular cellphone case is small and sticky when I really need quick access to it. If you hear anything about it from Gearlab or others, please let me know. Very informative. 🤗

      Thanks for watching! I know what you mean about the phone sticking in the phone case.. though that's pretty normal 😂 You might find this useful for you as it's a sling/phone case: gearlaboutdoors.com/collections/accessories-parts/products/bitplay-aquaseal-waterproof-bag?variant=41206480437441
      I've seen my friends use this too!

      Cannot put heavy thing on deck plate due to loss balance easily. Heavy thing should be put in cabin

    Nice bag. Been contemplating one as well. I do have day hatch, but not room for much, and I want a 2L hydration bladder up in front. I need a LOT of water to stay hydrated in the heat here. Will have a look at it.

      Hi! It sits on the deck of the kayak and strapped around the deck lines.. makes it a whole easier for me to access my goodies while on the water :)

    Can you explain why one might want an IPIK over the Kalleq. Im trying to decide ?

    • @Fishaholicboy
      @Fishaholicboy  2 года назад +1

      Hi! I think it will be personal preference but the IPIK is lighter by about 150grams and has a soft shouldered loom. Soft shoulder means there’s like a bump along the paddle so you can feel exactly where you hands are without even looking but some people don’t like this feature and love the Kalleq for that reason. It’s all personal presence. I also saw the Gram Kajak paddles that has received great feedback too.
