Keep it coming, I will watch if nobody else does.
Thanks George, I appreciate that!
Come on people , this man should be at 100,000 .subs by now....
Haha that's a dangerous number!
Yah, ya never have to worry about making a mistake on the internet. There will always be someone to tell you when you're wrong.
It's great having so many helpful and knowledgeable people out there!
Loved your visit to Cold War Motors. I enjoyed your tutorial, teaching them in the field body work and their journeyman on hands working the opposite side of the car. Very eye opening.
Glad you enjoyed it, I had a lot of fun fixing up the Studebaker!
Great to see you and scott at cwm channel, youre both v.tslented but also humble.
Glad you enjoyed that, it was a fun visit!
Don't skip the '66 C10. Just sit back in the chair and appreciate the patinated beauty of the new truck for awhile first before tearing into it. The neighbors need to get used to seeing it before bringing it inside.
Nice work over at Scott's place. I think viewers love seeing that kind of all-weather determination.
Oh yeah, I've got it parked in a strategic spot on my lawn, so it's the first thing I see when I go out in the morning
Those Advance Design trucks are like stray cats, you let one follow you home, give it a little love and the next thing you know there are 5 of them sitting in your yard begging for attention.
You got that right Tom! I finally got rid of all my Ad trucks, and two weeks later this one shows up! Haha
Just waiting for whatever you post next. I'd watch you scrape barnacles off a boat--not that you have much ocean front property in Saskatchewan 😂
I've actually got some ocean front property for sale here in Saskatchewan if you're interested...I'll make you a great deal!
@@CarterAutoRestyling sweet! I'll trade you for my dehydrated water mine 😁

Chicken Truck! Woo! Good thing it is already yellow; that's gonna save a bunch of time... Well played buddy!
I'll be saving a fortune on paint and other bodyshop consumables, too! Every way you look at it, this was the right truck for me.
You are worried about the cold months coming up. I am looking forward to the cold just to see you wear the hobo jacket. That thing is indestructible.
It's an icon for sure! Haha
omg that british car is a 49 to 51 Vauxhall LIP!!! My folks had one and alive had a couple as well! Suicide front doors, wee Straight 6 ( similar to a stovebolt ) LOVE those cars!
Thanks for identifying it! Definitely a really interesting car and not too common around here!
I'm looking forward to the Chicken truck build. I like any project involving one of those old Chevy or GMC trucks. We have a better cab than that one in a fence row out back. Too bad the border people aren't a bit more reasonable. If I pulled up to the border with that cab we would have a platoon of Montana Hwy. patrolmen and a troop of Canadian Mounties there to investigate along with a busload of Government people with a truckload of forms to fill out.
Glad you're looking forward to the chicken truck build! Trying to get accross the border with one of these cabs would definitely cause an international incident haha
I am enjoying your work on the '60's Chevy. Makes me appreciate those models more. Liked that Apache in the junkyard, too. Going to enjoy the "chicken truck" project, too.
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying that series!
Thanks for having us over. It was fun to see you and Scott having fun with the Stude!
I had a lot of fun on the Studebaker resto. Thanks for watching!
One small patch for man, one giant chop for RUclips!😅
Haha yup!
Pinch of advice: In your junkyard vids…… title them as such. The “algorithm” will spread your reach.
“Junkyard crawl”, “Scrapyard tour”….. etc.
Great content, keep’em coming!
Thanks for the tips!
Oh boy! Another rusted-out old relic! This thing would make the guy at the crusher wince. But of course, it had tremendous magnetism for Kyle, like a street urchin attracts certain people. So now he has to bring it back to life. Is it a project? You betcha!
Hahaha thanks for the laugh!
I thought you had taken a break or something. RUclips hadn't been recommending your videos to me. Please don't stop the 66 Chevy pickup project
Oh I'm working on the 66 as we speak!
wish they all could be saved we need more armature body men
I agree!
Happy days, just finished working on my old junk in the garage and this pop's up 👌👌👌
Great timing! Thanks for tuning in!
Enjoyed watching you do body work on the cold war motors Studebaker.
Glad you enjoyed that, it was a fun day!
Kyle, the next time you go Junk Hunting in that Junk Yard, pick up that early '54-ish Nash/Rambler or Hudson (I couldn't see the emblem that well) then challenge Scott from CWM to a body repair and primer coat finish competition with his bashed in Nash/Rambler or Hudson that he has in his yard. I'm sure someone in your neighborhood would team up with you to throw down the Gauntlet to Scott and his Merry men!
Sounds like a fun challenge!
Interesting yard of grain trucks and stuff. Woild love to spend a few days nosing around there!
Yeah it's a fun place to visit
I even spotted a Riviera there - always liked the boattail models
They are awesome cars!
When I was a kid my father had a station wagon that color yellow with rust spots and patches of brown primer paint on it. My sister didn't like being driven to school in it because she thought it looked like a rotten banana.
Hahaha that's awesome!
Those prices looked astronomical until realized they were Canadian.
I just love the old school Air conditioning the truck has 😂 😅😅
Much better than the stuffy Ac in modern vehicles!
The future is looking good. Thanks
I like your optimism!
I like the 66 Chevy project. Hope you continue with it.
Glad you like it! Updates coming soon on it!
You really have an eye for treasurers ... lookin forward to the chickin truck ... nuthin I like better than cuttin one up ... 👍
Haha thanks Joe!
The amount of Mercury truck trim, badges, etc is amazing. Hard to find stuff.
Hey Kyle, I started rebuilding old jeeps about 14 yrs ago. Had no idea what I was doing but thanks to guys like you I was able to get great "tips" and help on line. Learning rust repair and also dent repair has been a great help. I also enjoy the custom work so I'm looking forward to seeing that. When I started I bought my first jeep for the price of hauling it away. Over the years I've watched the prices continue to climb to a point where it's difficult to justify the costs. I had to pay $2000 for my 64 F100 and haul it home on two trailers. I'm fortunate that I can work for about $1.50 an hour so I'll probably recover my labor costs!😊 14 yrs ago I bought a 4' X 10' sheet of 18 GA for $59.00. Last year the same sheet was close to $300.00. I'm going to have to sell something soon to make room and get a couple $ to start a new project. 👍
Hi John! I hear ya on the rising costs of everything. I'm determined to continue trying to fix old junkers for as long as I'm able to.
All my very best to your Cats also : )
Hi kyle hope you keep up the excellent body work on this like that you did with cwr not the ham fisted stuff you normally put out😂 . Cheers mate🇦🇺
Haha that's the plan, Peter!
Hey Kyle ! Certainly looking forward to the chickentruck project. And all other videos from you :)
Thanks Martin!
It always amazes me how much nicer they look, until you get them home. Your saving a truck no one else would have, so I can't see anyone grumbling.
Yeah they always look better in someone elses yard! Haha
Nice Studebaker pick-up truck!
Yeah it was really cool!
Don't know about the rest of them but I'm waiting on the tare down
Somehow I just knew this was going to happen when I saw you over at coldwar motors giving the Studi fender the Earl Schib's half over.
And, yeah....that cab was never going to be anything ever again, except maybe a Kia if someone like you hadn't come along.
Haha yeah, the yard is on the way home from Coldwarmotors, so it was too convenient to pass up!
Amazed how many of those trucks have survived in any condition. It's not as if they have an easy life and are are washed and cosseted every Sunday.
Yeah they were built pretty tough!
Great yard tour Kyle and Should be two good Builds Can’t wait
Liked seeing the old Ford pickups. My grandfather had one for his creamery route in Virginia; and as a young kid in the early 60’s I traveled with him in the summers on that backroads route. Wonderful memories!
Thanks for sharing that! The old Fords are definitely cool!
23:20 definitely digging it. Don’t quit on it. You can do this.
Looking forward to rust repairs on flat panels they are the hardest. For me anyway. I guess you will perfect the shrinking disc on this one.
Yeah I'll definitely be getting no shortage of practice in on the shrinking disk!
A Cab Over would be a good take on making a chicken truck--it's already got the height!😆
That would be too easy! Haha
What ever you work on is fine by me. I'm just looking to gain some insight into this sort of work. I love the humor too.
Thanks Paul!
looking forward to the ''will it run''!
Me too! Thanks for watching!
As I worked on my 62 C10's Door today, I wondered why I kept worrying about how long it took, knowing Kyle would say "it's not about the time, it's about the result!"
You got a sweet deal on a truck that will only take a little time to sort out. Man, there goes that time thing again, smh.
I hear ya on the time situation! There's never enough hours in the day
Looking forward to your upcoming work! Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
I personally enjoy watching videos of whatever you happen to be working on at the time. Be it something from the 30's to the 60's.
Gathering pieces/parts for the 'chicken truck' and the inventory shown in the 'tour' ... I wish there was a place around my area like that.
But then again, I would have more 'stuff' on my property which may never see completion.
I'm glad you enjoy watching this stuff! We are lucky to still have plenty of projects around here, unfortunately there's not many people who are interested in fixing them.
great junk yard crawl thru video. the fender repair at coldwarmotors was really funny but you managed to pull off a decent temporary repair.good job
Glad you got a laugh out of the fender repair, it was a fun afternoon/evening!
I would love that ford f1
Yeah they are great trucks!
Don't know about you, but goin' to a yard is like....goin' backstage at a Vicki's Secret pageant!!! Thanks for titillating us with rusty lust!!!
Haha I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Do I hear excitement in Kyle’s voice? It’s a subtle nuance of course.
Glad you were able to pick up on it haha
Nice tour and update on things.
I had a blast watching you do all that fine bodywork on Scott's Studebaker. In the rain. In the dark. Lol.
Cheers.
I'm glad you enjoyed the Studebaker restoration! The conditions were definitely not ideal haha
Looks like you had a good fun with coldwarmotors some days ago, I've enjoyed the restoration of fenders.
Yeah that was a good time haha
Have to admit. I really enjoy watching you bring these "gems" back from the dead. Considering these were probably destined for the crusher it is great that they have a new lease on life. I just bought a minivan for a camping van that seems to have been one 4 wheel brake job away from being scrapped.. Looking forward to the next installment of "Watch Kyle suffer idiots decisions..." 😉
More "Watch Kyle Suffer Idiots Decisions" coming soon to a theater near you!
Happy to hear that more 47 to 53 stuff is coming. Because thats what i have i can relate to it.
Right on! Thanks for watching!
I enjoy watching you take the worst of the worst and turning it into something that has a chance of another life. I really don't see anyone taking on such an almost impossible project. Now get to work
Thanks Paul, I'm trying to crank out the 66 as fast as I can so I can start on this new truck
thats great discipline only buying one
Haha thanks, it took every ounce of self control to only buy 1
Maybe I'm just attracted to shiny things but I like that '47 Merc!
Yeah it was tempting! Haha
Mercury (F350) truck? Cool!
I for one am diggin' the C10 videos. I'll watch em all as long as there is metal beating involved.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it. More c10 updates coming soon!
It’s not gathering views? All your projects are gold to me. I love the process! I’m totally looking forward to the custom work!
Glad to hear you enjoy this stuff, Pat!
Time for a Chicken Truck Telethon
Haha yes!
I like it
The kids game "Operation" should have prepared you to fish out the junk from the intake manifold. The salvage yard is a gold mine, you are lucky to have it around.
Oh we were too poor to afford board games when I was a child. All we had was a cardboard box and a piece of string
I thought some of those green Chev/GMC might be a good choice. Then it dawned on me. Chicken truck....... yeah, got to start off with a yellow one. Now I am worried, your logic is making sense to me. lols
Oh yeah there were much better candidates, but I just couldn't pass up the yellow one for obvious reasons! Haha
Turn that chicken truck into a falcon!
Haha that's the plan!
Nice one for this project. Hope it's not too far gone thou... best of luck with your choice. Looking forward to this custom truck build.
Thanks, I'm glad that you're looking forward to it!
I enjoyed the tour of the salvage yard!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the tour, it’s nice to see prices listed on some of the stuff. Looks like the price of rust is going up. I might be sitting on a goldmine!
Time to cash in! Haha. Prices are still up, but I've noticed stuff isn't selling as fast as it did a couple years ago.
@@CarterAutoRestyling stuff on marketplace here in red deer is pretty high for used junk too. I got a kick out of you peckers doing bodywork on Scott’s studebaker. I shook my head through the whole episode but was surprised how good it looked afterwards. Ready for the auction block after the V8 summer showdown. Haha.
Lets get it on with the chicken truck ! !
I know I am only one person but I love the work you are doing on the old c10. I personally wanna see you finish it. I love watching your channel. Have learned a lot.
Hi Kevin, I'm glad you're enjoying the C10 project! More updates on that coming soon!
Another triumph! I personally enjoy all your videos, regardless of what you're working on, be it rust repair, dents, fabricating stuff. It's all good to me! Now you have to go back for that 58 Pontiac Pathfinder and the black Nash! Those 2 were the coolest in that yard.
Glad you enjoy the show and yes those two were super cool!
I think of the men that got into these trucks every day to go to work. they had to depend on those trucks to earn a pay day.
If only the trucks could talk, I'm sure they'd have some stories to tell
Thank you.
I agree with you those old international pickups are a cool design in the future it would be nice to see you do one thanks 😊
Yeah, when the right one comes along I'll buy it!
Just can't wait for the Chicken Truck?? saga to begin. I'll definitely be watching. I appreciate your hard work and amazing knowledge of auto repair. I've learned a lot here. Blessings. jerry
Thank you Jerry!
The new musical accompaniment is very exciting. A real touch of unique class
Haha yeah I'm really trying to class up these videos!
This has to be one of the worse trucks I have ever seen. Perfect for you. What is Tweety Bird driving now? I always enjoy you and the kids. Thank you for your time.
Glad you enjoy watching us suffer! It's one of the worst trucks I've seen too!
Hi Kyle and cats.
I'm envious of your choice of all the tin there.
Looking forward to whatever project you work on.
Have a good day.
Thanks Joe, I appreciate you taking the time to watch all my videos!
How is the model A coming along?
@@gwstubbs7046 Hi there!
I have a lot of ups and downs gealth-wise so progress is slow but it's a hobby.
How are things?
Kyle... I went to the same junkyard to catch a cab, after three days waiting for one I gave up and walked home! 😣
Hi Kelly, you made the right choice to walk! This was the most expensive cab I've ever caught!
I will look forward to watching you restore the C10.
Right on! C10 updates coming soon!
Just a quick comment to help the algorithm. Best wishes.
Thanks George!
Get em all, you have em all done by Christmas.
Which Christmas? Haha
@@CarterAutoRestyling year 2123
"I'd like to have one of those someday." Don't wait too long, or there won't be any left!
Oh I see my truck. The one with the wooden spokes between the army truck and the blue step side bed. Now who in the hell Im I going to get that to Kentucky. How much do they want for it ?
Just rent a Kia and use it to flat tow the thing home haha
Hi Kyle. Good luck with it. Basically you bought a roof that isn't too bad. I enjoyed seeing you at Scott's. Top stuff and that was actually the technique back in the day, rain and all! Take care, Am I the only one enjoying the C10 content? Lol. All the best, Mart.
Hi Mart! I'm glad you're enjoying the c10 content. Had a lot of fun at Scott's despite the rain haha
The Bluetooth glass was a definite plus😂!!!
One less thing to remove haha
Thank you for actually showing us some shots of the two tone 58 Pontiac. I know you're a truck guy, but man does that Pontiac just look right.
A neat car for sure! Thanks for watching!
@CarterAutoRestyling let's be honest, your channel is exactly the type of content that I prefer. An actual craftsman making something pretty impressive out of someone else's trash.
On a positive note, maybe the dimmer switch is salvageable?
Dimmer switch revival coming soon! Thanks Philip!
I've been enjoying the work on the Chevy truck; always been a fan of those lines. Looking forward to more work!
I'm glad that you've been enjoying it, more to come soon!
I like the Chevy truck!
Looking forward to this project.
Glad to hear that!
Thanks for the video, man.
Thanks for watching it!
mate happy to watch whatever you are working on.....even if it was a soup can.
never stop learning
cheers joe
Soup can restoration coming soon!
I kinda like the yellow color. Maybe u will keep it a yellow truck
Hi Dean! It's definitely an eye-catching colour!
Dean! Get over here and finish this Studebaker! Haha
Looking forward to the next upload. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! I hope you'll enjoy the next episode!
