AC/HEATER FAN NOT BLOWING HOWTO DIAGNOSE & REPLACE A BAD BLOWER MOTOR/RESISTOR ON 2011 GRAND MARQUIS

AS WITH ALL MY VIDEOS I TRY TO GIVE THE MOST INFORMATION IN THE LEAST AMOUNT OF TIME AS POSSIBLE SO I DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. IN THIS VIDEO THE BLOWER MOTOR STOPPED RUNNING ON THE VEHICLE MAKING THE A/C OR HEATER NOT WORK ON A 2011 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS. I GO OVER HOW TO DIAGNOSE EITHER A BAD MOTOR OR BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR USING A BASIC MULTI-METER. I DO AN OVERVIEW OF HOW TO REPLACE THE BLOWER MOTOR IF IT IS BAD OR IN MY CASE THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR WAS BAD AND I GO OVER HOW TO REPLACE IT.

I just changed mine out. Thank you for the hints and showing how to change it. I tested my religion with this replacement lol. Stupid design and placement but got it working. Also for those trying to figure out if this is your solution. My problem was that my AC would only work on high. After swapping it out (got it on amazon) it worked instantly on all the settings. Thank you for this video I watched this video for 3 days I changed out the blower motor resistor on my 2003 GM LS an if I tell u u help me out alot u really did Preshate ya

Thanks for showing every step! Got mine out (pain in the ass as you said) now I just gotta order a new one. Just yesterday I replaced the blower motor thinking that was the culprit, but no... so now hopefully a new resistor will do the trick.

My blower motor with only work sometimes, and then I would have to pop the hood and tap on it a couple times for it to start blowing inside of the car, now it doesn't blow at all, does that mean the blower motor itself has finally died or is it the resistor now?

Could be either one but most likely what you tap on is the culprit
