Amazing!! I can't even begin to imagine playing it that quickly. These old fingers just don't move as fast as they used to. I can only muster Andante at best to make sure I hit all the notes cleanly. Well and delightfully played, Maestro!!

Thanks so much, Carl! This study is a favourite of mine from the bunch, and when I like a study I tend to get into it, maybe a bit too much sometimes which tends to make me play slightly faster or more passionately than required! :)
As long as it is fluid with a sense of ease and joy, it will sound great. Happy practicing!

Depende de qué estudio. Van desde el grado 4 hasta el grado 8.

This footage is originally from an educational DVD (available on my website tariqharb.com) which has a slow “play along” version of every study from opus 60 at a specific bpm so viewers can practice along. The ‘a tempo’ and slow versions of each study were recorded back to back, hence the need for an ear piece. Here on youtube however, only the at tempo performances are being published.
