A very good review. It is actually very difficult to give a general recommendation. For older gamers like me (62 years old), the Xbox offers the more interesting games. Spiderman or God of War are pretty on the screen, but the Microsoft Flight Simulator (my absolute favorite game), but also Starfield or Scorn, games like that, are more likely to be found in the Microsoft segment. That's why it's right for more mature gamers :-) to recommend the Xbox.
Good point man But the bad thing about it is I wont be getting a decent PC for the price consoles have. At least in the shithole of a country where I live in.

I am a fan of PlayStation since PS1 and my Friends/family are all have PS5, so its nice to play with them sometimes. I tried Xbox Series for a Year last year and it didn't offer much that I wanted or like other than Halo and its controller layout.
I got a series s just cause of Halo and I prefer Xbox controller slightly over Playstation. Other than Halo and Xbox controller Playstation is easily the better system.

I actually love the design of the Series X. Very understated and the engineers had function over form in mind. My Series X was front and center in my living room setup and my gf asked where the Xbox was. Blended right in.

It is a personal preference. I use my os5 the most, because of the games and the controller. I prefer disc games, but do have plus premium. The Xbox has more new games on game pass, BUT, they are Xbox games. Sony has games that I like better, and I still have my ps3, and ps2 to play the older games on. The few games Xbox has exclusively, weee not enough to make me buy anything after the one S. I can use the os5 controller on my ps3. Glad you like the Xbox series x.
I've had the ps5 since day 1. A couple of weeks ago I bought the Series X, because of the sales. I still prefer my ps5, BUT I have been having a blast with xbox dev mode and emulation! I have been playing ps2 games on it lol
Ps5 has some real overheating problems. Mine died in a year and a half, and I cleaned it like 4 times. My Xbox one x it’s still kicking and haven’t even cleaned it. Making me feel like my series x is a beast. Miss those ps5 exclusives though. Thank god for game pass.
That might be a console placement issue. You know if you leave your PS5 in an enclosed space where it can't get enough ventilation or air to spread out and release the heat, it's pretty obvious it'll get overheated over time. I've had mine for like 2 years now and it hasn't overheated once. And because I've kept it at an enfined, open, natural space.

I have both the original Playstation 5 & Xbox Series X. I actually prefer the Xbox for several reasons: Quick resume which is ideal if say you get bored and want to jump into another game, you can continue where you left off. And you can continue from where you left off once you turn the console back on. The controller is better than the PS5 one for a few reasons. Firstly it's lighter and easier to grip compared to the PS5 one which can be slightly heavy in the hand. Secondly you can either A use the rechargeable battery or B normal ones which is better as you can change them once they die. And C you can use either a wireless one or be a grandaddy by using wired controller which is better to save you using one running on batteries. Unfortunately the PS5 doesn't support this and you have to use a USB cable to 'mimic' a wired controller. While I do have both consoles side by side, you ideally would need plenty of space or room for the PS5 due to it's Titanic size. The Series X while bulky is more smaller & compact and easier to put in a bag. And you are not run of fun either. Sure the PS5 has more exclusive games but the Xbox has not only game pass but can support many original, 360 & one games.
I have every console but my xbox definitely gets more mileage. Ps5 is covered in dust. I break out my switch just for pokemon on occasion. Soon enough I will have a steam deck. And the switch will be phased out. The luxury of playing not only on my Xbox series x but also my old Xbox that I leave at my mother house is a blessing.
I prefer the XSX the gaming library is massive with the help of backwards compatability & with the ABK deal its only going to get better. plus design labs give you the option to get a hand built custom controller that you've designed . Im also hyped for World of Warcraft to become a xbox tittle.
Yeah but PC. Literally makes the Xbox obsolete. PlayStation has more variety in that sense. Xbox puts everything on PC for the most part so...unless you are console only... all you need is PC/PS/Nintendo and you're good. Its my opinion. Idk.
@@EnjoyingChaotics yes and no. I just owned a PC and sold it because old games were basically dead. Old cods? Full of hackers, or just no players to be found. Console? Instant lobbies. There’s also the cost. I spent so much on my rig it’s not even right, a 450-500 console that can output beautiful visuals while being fully optimized on release is pretty insane imo. The reality is that none are really bad choices, it just caters to different needs is all.

Why spend 2-4k on a really nice rig when you might optimize its use in a couple games? Where as console like series x is $450, and you can get a great selection of games that are well optimized and have a much better social experience I have found. I felt like beng on PC I was a loner compared to being on PS/Xbox. Party system etc is just huge for consoles, I really missed it, and I really did not care for discord.

and with conversion (you can replace all of your gold subscriptions in Ultimate) you can save a lot of money too. Unfortunately it's not as convenient as back in the day (they take away few months) but it's still a good deal! I raccomend to check out some tutorials on RUclips if you have some troubles.

The only thing im gonna say is, that if you care about physical games, get the og ps5, the slim disc drive is not gonna be able to play the phisical ganes when the server dies.
If you own an console and a laptop it's a win for Microsoft Because you can save your progress between the two that are connected threw xbox app which makes it more relevant if you have to travel and want to game from a laptop instead of a little hand held device that you can't do anything else with...

I got ps5 slim. I don't how a lot of people scratch them. Mine is still look brand new. You never have to touch it. You can use the remote to turn it on and then you can turn it off on thr screen when you press the ps button on the remote.
me too and people say the hdmi breaks but how lol had mine for a while still looks new too, people just jerks them around how they get damage and dont care.

As someone who's had Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft consoles in the past and is primarily a PC gamer, this generation I went with the Xbox Series X. I'm not trying to vocally dislike Sony here, but none of their exclusives interested me (again: I'm not saying they're bad games. They aren't. They just aren't games that I'm interested in paying a big amount of money for like 60-80€). And since I'm not willing to pay up big prices for AAA games, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate comes into play. Most of the videogames that I enjoy the most are actually crossplatform so it doesn't matter if I'd use a PC, a PlayStation or an Xbox and I'd get to play the same games. It's true that Xbox "exclusives" aren't really that exclusive anymore since you can get those on a PC as well, but I see it as a good thing and a bad thing. It's a bad thing because some use it as an argument to tell people not to get an Xbox. I actually think it's a good thing since for one subscription you get the games on both platforms. No need to pay for games on two different platforms if you're feeling like playing on the living room couch instead of on your desktop PC. All of the save files cloud sync so that's an added benefit. Another added benefit is when buying games that are "Xbox Play Anywhere". I'll use Psychonauts 2 as an example here. I bought it on Xbox for 15€ since I liked it when I tried it out on GamePass. I was pleasantly surprised that I also got it on PC for that same price I paid. So now if I ever feel like playing it on a computer, I can do so without paying anything extra. So the "but you can play them on a PC" is actually both if you ask me. It's good and it's bad. I like the flexibility it offers.
As an added layer... I think there are certain things that cannot even be measured since it's based on opinions and views. For example someone might just enjoy the Xbox controller more, even tho' technically speaking it might be inferior. That just doesn't matter if you like its ergonomics more, the size of it more, the stick placement more... or how the bumpers/triggers feel. Completely subjective. It might also be that a person just likes one company more over the other. I get it that there's a lot of Microsoft-haters but there are also Sony-haters etc. People choose the company they like better so some other stuff might be secondary to them. People might go for a console for their physical appereance or the look of the UI or whatnot. These are highly subjective same as asking someone whether they like coffee or tea more or whether they like the color green or the color blue more. So you can't "argue" anyone out of their opinion with those things. There was once a guy who always bought the same brand jeans no matter what. Nothing could persuade him to do otherwise. Not the price, features, materials, nothing... So it's kind of like that with some people. In the end, we're all gamers and it doesn't really matter which brand we want to go with. I've heard countless times how PlayStation is outselling the Xbox 3-to-1 and I could literally care less since I'm' not interacting with those millions of people anyway. And I'm not getting those console sales bucks so why would I care how many units are sold? Same goes to game reviews. Some specific game can get 100/100 scores but if it's not a game I'm into, it doesn't matter at all. For example if some superhero type of game gets perfect scores but if I'm not into superheroes in tights sorts of games, then why would I care? Same goes for music, movies, TV series and whatever. Don't bother yourself with what the majority thinks or likes. Consume the stuff that YOU enjoy.
To add on that Xbox has that free upgrade feature smart delivery where if you got a last gen game but there a next gen version it lets you get it free granted some devs will charge for it example GTA v
Some Casual gamers don’t care for PC myself included therefore won’t even bother with it even when it evidently BETTER than console. It just too different. Philosophy is not even alike. One thing for sure is that PC gamers LOVE to flex their muscle and they’re FOS and very very annoying.
I was a PS fan back in the day ( ps1, ps2, ps3). Now, taking everything into consideration (excluding a PS5 exclusives), xbox series x/s is the way to go. But gran turismo will always have a special place reserved 😊
I have both. PS5 has way better games. Xbox games are just not there. I'm glad they're on gamepass day 1 else I would have never bothered to play any of them.
GamePass Day 1 is the issue to me when it comes to picking a unique console. Xbox goes to PC so what is the point? If you have a PC you dont need the xbox. Its that simple. If you're only on that console world then yeah i can see picking one over the other.
I am a guy who puts my cables in 1 time. Never take them out. Only if really needed. My ps5 stands in 1 place. Take care of your system and it will take care of you lol. Throw a cover or cloth over your ps5 when off. Wash your hands before you play. Do not play with a controller while it is on a charging cable. Get another controller. Lol. No direct sunlight and many more. Ps5 slim is ugly. I got cfi 2126A. Or something. Third revision. Very pleased. My ps4 fat still works perfectly.
I will always be a playstation boy, since I grew up with ps2 and ps3, but xbox series x can play alot of the xbox 360- ps3 games I loved playing. black ops 1 zombies with the boys, Skate 3, portal 2, modern warfare 2009 , gta iv , red dead 1, portal 2, bad company 2 etc

I have both. The Xbox series x and the PS5 are both very good. Playing side by side I would have to say for the real gamer Xbox is better. PS5 controller has alot of missed inputs, I love the controller it's quiet, but the battery, and input is off. The PS5 doesn't have true 4k, the PS5 doesn't have much games either. It's all PS4 games.xbox series x is lacking in games as well. They don't give you any perks of owning their system. If I had to choose one I would go Xbox because gamepass, the controller, quick resume, true 4k, and the console is smaller. PS5 is still awesome, but something is just off this gen I don't know what it is but it's almost like we have waited 4 years and have NO GAMES. Socom, kill zone, Detroit become human 2, knack 3, days gone 2, so many games they have just passed up on and remember Sony has a DEEEP library, twisted metal , I just don't like anything PS5 has anymore every game is the same now.
To play on my ps5 All I need is my iPad and a controller and I can still play the games off of there like you can on Xbox. He needs to spend more time on the console And they both got backwards, compatibility on Xbox game pass you’re most likely using your subscription to play the Old games like PlayStation because I got both
its a personal choice. both are good systems. i used to prefer xbox but since i got my ps5 i dont play xbox anymore. xbox was fine too but i prefer the playstation controller and my series x was poor with dvd movies i kept having issues with the 2 series x i have while it works great on my ps5. the ps5 also looks better. i like the stormtrooper look. for what this guy says about gamepass vs playstation premium , note that you can also play it on your pc with the PS Remote Play app.
I choose Playstation since its the 3rd system i grew up with and physical games plays and runs better on Playstation you really don't have to connect nor update the game if its not required for that game and you won't get locked out of your system if your not connected to the internet
With the PS5, the design is really unique and catches the attention. Whether or not you joke about it looking like a wifi router or an alien device, it catches the eyes enough for you to notice it. Those exclusives are also an absolute blast along with the haptic feedback really immersing you in the game. The xbox just...seems so lackluster in comparison. Sure there was a big graphical leap, and they have made an attempt at making exclusives for the console but like...its the difference in feeling a part of the community by having a playstation. With an xbox, you can play that gamepass anywhere and on everything and as a result its just like, why even bother buying the console at that point? The 360 was an absolute blast in the past, and honestly one of the best consoles ive ever played on. But every generation before that and after that for me personally was always playstation. I did get the xbox one when it came out but even that only held appeal for so long. My most played game on the xbox one was just call of duty, halo, and dead rising 3. With the playstation however, man did I diversify with the titles I've been trying and playing.
When you showed the controller comparison you had a Dualsense Edge but not an Xbox Elite controller? Not a fair comparison you should be showing only the stock controllers that came with the console.

so hard to pick for me, half of my friends are on xbox and the other on ps. I do have a decent pc but it's aging and newer titles are getting harder to run would it be worth it if I get an Xbox?

I can get a year of gamepass ultimate for the same price as regular ps plus or just the core version for way cheaper when buying keys online. Xbox has better backwards compatability and cheaper games, plus there will be some cool exclusives coming out like Stalker 2, Fable, etc. Getting every new cod on gamepass is also nice. I hate the fact that on PS5 you need 2 controllers or play with a charging cable when the battery dies which it does way too fast.
I dont know which one to pick I all ready have a ps4 and pretty much all of the exclusive are also on ps4 and the few that are not like forespoken and marvel spiderman 2 I don't really care for so Im stuck in the middle, xbox don't have no exclusive but will in the near feature.

My humble opinion: if you like exclusives, Sony is the answer. If you don’t care about Sony’s exclusives, take XSX. Crazy back compatibility and comparable performance and better prices for older games (in my case I’m playing RDR2 right now) and if you need, game pass. Now I have Series S and a PS4 with a dying Blu-ray drive. It’s still working but not for long. I have some library on Sony, and as the older generation is still alive, I can play them there and those less old games, I already got in my Xbox account. And Sony forces you to pay Plus but Microsoft, at least for now, don’t. No, I don’t play online games. Maybe only RUclips, occasionally. I’m still in doubt what should I do, but I’m thinking about Series X.
I got both and regret getting the ps5. Don't get my wrong I really like it but once you beat the exclusives you never go back to it because Xbox x with the game pass is far superior.
To be honest, BOTH consoles have Pros and Cons. So to be fair, it comes down to preference on what you want to play and like. Console wars are annoying as hell. Me personally I don’t care what platform people play on, as long as you’re happy with a PlayStation, Xbox, PC, or Nintendo Switch, that should only matter. One is simply not better than the other. Just pick a platform and play, easy as that. Or am I too delusional to think that way? 🤷

I have both. Got the Xbox series X first Dec. 2023. Than the Ps Slim Feb 2024. I jave heard peaple say ( i only usey ps5 for the exclusive ). I 100% undesstand. Going from series to 5 im a bit spoiled with the ease of app and game switching. And i I swear xbox downloads everything faster.
Man xcloud is dope, just started using it and its impressed me. Sure its not the most seamless service, but its so cool how i can play games and on my laptop, it even looks better on laptop in some cases. I was playing fortnite and battlefront on my phone the other day and i was like " man this the future right here". That shit was badass.
So I'm hopefully not dumbing down your great video too much, but if I had to summarize what you are saying, it sounds like the PS5 Slim is the better video game console, whereas the current iteration of Xbox offers a much better gaming experience, in regards to overall value and total game selection.
Both systems have something to offer. It's a matter of preference. Some of us don't limit ourselves to one console over the other. We try to enjoy what each one brings whether it be Xbox, Playstation or Nintendo. Ultimately we should be enjoying games and not console wars which is childish and stupid.

I own both consoles the battery life is a joke on ps5 controller and xbox series x controller with xbox battery pack will last for days of gaming before needing charged.
I got my Xbox series x 3 days ago from Walmart so far no problems I mean it was making some noise when the disc was playing but it was very little noise I was coming from a series s I barely used that console and sold it for $180 on facebook marketplace that woman got a steal all the other Xbox series s listings are sketchy to say the lease i got my console because i couldn’t play delisted forza games on my series s it was my first console and I got it in late 2022 I believe it had no problems worked better then my little brothers ps4 pro
I've vividly seen someone play god of war on pc(pc not ps5), plus I'm not a big fan of paying that much to ps5 to simply play online, and Xbox has more value then ps5, I say this because after finishing a game such as Spiderman or the last of us 2 those exclusive are now just sitting there. but halo and Forza you can go online for free and play with others and that Forza hot wheels dlc is awesome. id buy ps5 sure but there fact that there's more to pay after buying expensive console is not good. Xbox controllers last long and feel pretty good compere to ps5, ps5 controller cool also but there, something that it can't take away from the Xbox controller. You can also play all those p.s5 games on p.c to. Value goes to box and back catalog. Exclusives and tech goes to p.s5 but I still like the xbox controller better
I wonder if people know that they don't actually need an Xbox to use gamepass on the go. It sounds like that's the only reason you picked the Xbox over the PS5 which doesn't really help make a decision. Technically, you can buy a PS5 and still get gamepass for on the go if you really wanted to. I have a Series X, a Series S and a gaming PC. I don't really use either of my Xbox's because I'm mostly on my PC and I can play the same games on a better system. I'm thinking about selling my Series X, keeping my Series S and buying a PS5 for the PSVR and everything else that I can't play on either Xbox or PC.

@@itsvico1 he is talking about fps boost that a lot of games got even before the ubisoft update on far cry 5. Older games like BF1, BF4, BF5, titanfall2, battlefront2 and many other games got a 120fps boost and many others a 60fps boost. Even some games not on the list like MW2019 are running on 120fps.
I have a PS5 original standard edition and so far it's been doing well so I've been enjoying playing my favorite games. I'm more a PlayStation fan but Xbox is also good.
I really like ps5 but I’m a big fan of the Xbox controller, it’s way more comfortable. I like that I can lie the Xbox down but the ps5 has to standup. Plus Xbox is windows so the controllers and the games I have on my PC would work on the Xbox
Hello I use to play ps1 when I was kid and I was born in June so that my first system then ps2 then ps3 and ps4 then it CD reader died on me so I went to Xbox series s because I could not find no ps5 back then now I can I want to to get ps5 where I can play the last of us and can you please do videos where I know which subscription I can get because if I can play old killzone game by getting that one subscription, I’ll be really happy but money is hard right now I just got my disability check and that don’t help really so I can’t just get ps5 next month so when I do get me ps5 I be happy when I get it back because I sick of change out batteries for my Xbox controller and their something I don’t like Xbox to and plus i PlayStation fan anyways

I bought the Series X December for £349.99 after passing my driving test. The Xbox Series X is actually not as big in size as I thought it would be.

A very good review. It is actually very difficult to give a general recommendation. For older gamers like me (62 years old), the Xbox offers the more interesting games. Spiderman or God of War are pretty on the screen, but the Microsoft Flight Simulator (my absolute favorite game), but also Starfield or Scorn, games like that, are more likely to be found in the Microsoft segment. That's why it's right for more mature gamers :-) to recommend the Xbox.
Don’t forget a decent amount of PS exclusives is on PC too! It’s not just Xbox. Spider-Man, God of War, Horizon is on steam

I am a fan of PlayStation since PS1 and my Friends/family are all have PS5, so its nice to play with them sometimes. I tried Xbox Series for a Year last year and it didn't offer much that I wanted or like other than Halo and its controller layout.
It’s all preference I mainly play on Xbox but don’t really care much for the PS5 to each there own
I got a series s just cause of Halo and I prefer Xbox controller slightly over Playstation. Other than Halo and Xbox controller Playstation is easily the better system.

It is a personal preference. I use my os5 the most, because of the games and the controller. I prefer disc games, but do have plus premium.
The Xbox has more new games on game pass, BUT, they are Xbox games. Sony has games that I like better, and I still have my ps3, and ps2 to play the older games on.
The few games Xbox has exclusively, weee not enough to make me buy anything after the one S.
I can use the os5 controller on my ps3.

Ps5 has some real overheating problems. Mine died in a year and a half, and I cleaned it like 4 times. My Xbox one x it’s still kicking and haven’t even cleaned it. Making me feel like my series x is a beast. Miss those ps5 exclusives though. Thank god for game pass.
That might be a console placement issue. You know if you leave your PS5 in an enclosed space where it can't get enough ventilation or air to spread out and release the heat, it's pretty obvious it'll get overheated over time. I've had mine for like 2 years now and it hasn't overheated once. And because I've kept it at an enfined, open, natural space.

I mean i went to get some tech support near me, and they had like 10 ps5 at least getting repairs on either this or that, and had like 3 Xbox sx just for cleanup or fan replacement, witch it’s easier. Anyways based on owning almost every console since sega saturn the most durable on have been my Xbox’s. So to me Xbox is quality, and ps5 is quantity

I have both the original Playstation 5 & Xbox Series X.
I actually prefer the Xbox for several reasons:
Quick resume which is ideal if say you get bored and want to jump into another game, you can continue where you left off. And you can continue from where you left off once you turn the console back on.
The controller is better than the PS5 one for a few reasons. Firstly it's lighter and easier to grip compared to the PS5 one which can be slightly heavy in the hand. Secondly you can either A use the rechargeable battery or B normal ones which is better as you can change them once they die. And C you can use either a wireless one or be a grandaddy by using wired controller which is better to save you using one running on batteries. Unfortunately the PS5 doesn't support this and you have to use a USB cable to 'mimic' a wired controller.
While I do have both consoles side by side, you ideally would need plenty of space or room for the PS5 due to it's Titanic size. The Series X while bulky is more smaller & compact and easier to put in a bag.
And you are not run of fun either. Sure the PS5 has more exclusive games but the Xbox has not only game pass but can support many original, 360 & one games.
I have every console but my xbox definitely gets more mileage. Ps5 is covered in dust. I break out my switch just for pokemon on occasion. Soon enough I will have a steam deck. And the switch will be phased out. The luxury of playing not only on my Xbox series x but also my old Xbox that I leave at my mother house is a blessing.

I prefer the XSX the gaming library is massive with the help of backwards compatability & with the ABK deal its only going to get better. plus design labs give you the option to get a hand built custom controller that you've designed . Im also hyped for World of Warcraft to become a xbox tittle.
Yeah but PC. Literally makes the Xbox obsolete. PlayStation has more variety in that sense. Xbox puts everything on PC for the most part so...unless you are console only... all you need is PC/PS/Nintendo and you're good. Its my opinion. Idk.

@@EnjoyingChaotics yes and no. I just owned a PC and sold it because old games were basically dead. Old cods? Full of hackers, or just no players to be found. Console? Instant lobbies. There’s also the cost. I spent so much on my rig it’s not even right, a 450-500 console that can output beautiful visuals while being fully optimized on release is pretty insane imo. The reality is that none are really bad choices, it just caters to different needs is all.

Why spend 2-4k on a really nice rig when you might optimize its use in a couple games? Where as console like series x is $450, and you can get a great selection of games that are well optimized and have a much better social experience I have found. I felt like beng on PC I was a loner compared to being on PS/Xbox. Party system etc is just huge for consoles, I really missed it, and I really did not care for discord.

and with conversion (you can replace all of your gold subscriptions in Ultimate) you can save a lot of money too. Unfortunately it's not as convenient as back in the day (they take away few months) but it's still a good deal!

The only thing im gonna say is, that if you care about physical games, get the og ps5, the slim disc drive is not gonna be able to play the phisical ganes when the server dies.
If you own an console and a laptop it's a win for Microsoft Because you can save your progress between the two that are connected threw xbox app which makes it more relevant if you have to travel and want to game from a laptop instead of a little hand held device that you can't do anything else with...

I got ps5 slim. I don't how a lot of people scratch them. Mine is still look brand new. You never have to touch it. You can use the remote to turn it on and then you can turn it off on thr screen when you press the ps button on the remote.

As someone who's had Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft consoles in the past and is primarily a PC gamer, this generation I went with the Xbox Series X.
I'm not trying to vocally dislike Sony here, but none of their exclusives interested me (again: I'm not saying they're bad games. They aren't. They just aren't games that I'm interested in paying a big amount of money for like 60-80€).
And since I'm not willing to pay up big prices for AAA games, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate comes into play.
Most of the videogames that I enjoy the most are actually crossplatform so it doesn't matter if I'd use a PC, a PlayStation or an Xbox and I'd get to play the same games.
It's true that Xbox "exclusives" aren't really that exclusive anymore since you can get those on a PC as well, but I see it as a good thing and a bad thing.
It's a bad thing because some use it as an argument to tell people not to get an Xbox. I actually think it's a good thing since for one subscription you get the games on both platforms. No need to pay for games on two different platforms if you're feeling like playing on the living room couch instead of on your desktop PC. All of the save files cloud sync so that's an added benefit.
Another added benefit is when buying games that are "Xbox Play Anywhere". I'll use Psychonauts 2 as an example here. I bought it on Xbox for 15€ since I liked it when I tried it out on GamePass. I was pleasantly surprised that I also got it on PC for that same price I paid. So now if I ever feel like playing it on a computer, I can do so without paying anything extra.
So the "but you can play them on a PC" is actually both if you ask me. It's good and it's bad. I like the flexibility it offers.

As an added layer... I think there are certain things that cannot even be measured since it's based on opinions and views.
For example someone might just enjoy the Xbox controller more, even tho' technically speaking it might be inferior. That just doesn't matter if you like its ergonomics more, the size of it more, the stick placement more... or how the bumpers/triggers feel. Completely subjective.
It might also be that a person just likes one company more over the other. I get it that there's a lot of Microsoft-haters but there are also Sony-haters etc. People choose the company they like better so some other stuff might be secondary to them.
People might go for a console for their physical appereance or the look of the UI or whatnot. These are highly subjective same as asking someone whether they like coffee or tea more or whether they like the color green or the color blue more. So you can't "argue" anyone out of their opinion with those things.
There was once a guy who always bought the same brand jeans no matter what. Nothing could persuade him to do otherwise. Not the price, features, materials, nothing...
So it's kind of like that with some people.
In the end, we're all gamers and it doesn't really matter which brand we want to go with. I've heard countless times how PlayStation is outselling the Xbox 3-to-1 and I could literally care less since I'm' not interacting with those millions of people anyway. And I'm not getting those console sales bucks so why would I care how many units are sold?
Same goes to game reviews. Some specific game can get 100/100 scores but if it's not a game I'm into, it doesn't matter at all.
For example if some superhero type of game gets perfect scores but if I'm not into superheroes in tights sorts of games, then why would I care?
Same goes for music, movies, TV series and whatever. Don't bother yourself with what the majority thinks or likes. Consume the stuff that YOU enjoy.
To add on that Xbox has that free upgrade feature smart delivery where if you got a last gen game but there a next gen version it lets you get it free granted some devs will charge for it example GTA v
Some Casual gamers don’t care for PC myself included therefore won’t even bother with it even when it evidently BETTER than console. It just too different. Philosophy is not even alike.
One thing for sure is that PC gamers LOVE to flex their muscle and they’re FOS and very very annoying.

I was a PS fan back in the day ( ps1, ps2, ps3). Now, taking everything into consideration (excluding a PS5 exclusives), xbox series x/s is the way to go. But gran turismo will always have a special place reserved 😊

GamePass Day 1 is the issue to me when it comes to picking a unique console. Xbox goes to PC so what is the point? If you have a PC you dont need the xbox. Its that simple. If you're only on that console world then yeah i can see picking one over the other.

I am a guy who puts my cables in 1 time. Never take them out. Only if really needed. My ps5 stands in 1 place. Take care of your system and it will take care of you lol. Throw a cover or cloth over your ps5 when off. Wash your hands before you play. Do not play with a controller while it is on a charging cable. Get another controller. Lol. No direct sunlight and many more.
Ps5 slim is ugly. I got cfi 2126A. Or something. Third revision. Very pleased. My ps4 fat still works perfectly.

I have both. The Xbox series x and the PS5 are both very good. Playing side by side I would have to say for the real gamer Xbox is better. PS5 controller has alot of missed inputs, I love the controller it's quiet, but the battery, and input is off. The PS5 doesn't have true 4k, the PS5 doesn't have much games either. It's all PS4 games.xbox series x is lacking in games as well. They don't give you any perks of owning their system. If I had to choose one I would go Xbox because gamepass, the controller, quick resume, true 4k, and the console is smaller. PS5 is still awesome, but something is just off this gen I don't know what it is but it's almost like we have waited 4 years and have NO GAMES. Socom, kill zone, Detroit become human 2, knack 3, days gone 2, so many games they have just passed up on and remember Sony has a DEEEP library, twisted metal , I just don't like anything PS5 has anymore every game is the same now.
Of course PS5 has true 4k, but not all games offer that. Same happens with Xbox, not every game runs at 4k in it. I have both systems at home 😊
To play on my ps5 All I need is my iPad and a controller and I can still play the games off of there like you can on Xbox. He needs to spend more time on the console And they both got backwards, compatibility on Xbox game pass you’re most likely using your subscription to play the Old games like PlayStation because I got both

its a personal choice. both are good systems. i used to prefer xbox but since i got my ps5 i dont play xbox anymore. xbox was fine too but i prefer the playstation controller and my series x was poor with dvd movies i kept having issues with the 2 series x i have while it works great on my ps5. the ps5 also looks better. i like the stormtrooper look. for what this guy says about gamepass vs playstation premium , note that you can also play it on your pc with the PS Remote Play app.
I choose Playstation since its the 3rd system i grew up with and physical games plays and runs better on Playstation you really don't have to connect nor update the game if its not required for that game and you won't get locked out of your system if your not connected to the internet

With the PS5, the design is really unique and catches the attention. Whether or not you joke about it looking like a wifi router or an alien device, it catches the eyes enough for you to notice it. Those exclusives are also an absolute blast along with the haptic feedback really immersing you in the game. The xbox just...seems so lackluster in comparison. Sure there was a big graphical leap, and they have made an attempt at making exclusives for the console but like...its the difference in feeling a part of the community by having a playstation. With an xbox, you can play that gamepass anywhere and on everything and as a result its just like, why even bother buying the console at that point? The 360 was an absolute blast in the past, and honestly one of the best consoles ive ever played on. But every generation before that and after that for me personally was always playstation. I did get the xbox one when it came out but even that only held appeal for so long. My most played game on the xbox one was just call of duty, halo, and dead rising 3. With the playstation however, man did I diversify with the titles I've been trying and playing.

I can get a year of gamepass ultimate for the same price as regular ps plus or just the core version for way cheaper when buying keys online. Xbox has better backwards compatability and cheaper games, plus there will be some cool exclusives coming out like Stalker 2, Fable, etc. Getting every new cod on gamepass is also nice. I hate the fact that on PS5 you need 2 controllers or play with a charging cable when the battery dies which it does way too fast.
I dont know which one to pick I all ready have a ps4 and pretty much all of the exclusive are also on ps4 and the few that are not like forespoken and marvel spiderman 2 I don't really care for so Im stuck in the middle, xbox don't have no exclusive but will in the near feature.

My humble opinion: if you like exclusives, Sony is the answer. If you don’t care about Sony’s exclusives, take XSX. Crazy back compatibility and comparable performance and better prices for older games (in my case I’m playing RDR2 right now) and if you need, game pass. Now I have Series S and a PS4 with a dying Blu-ray drive. It’s still working but not for long. I have some library on Sony, and as the older generation is still alive, I can play them there and those less old games, I already got in my Xbox account. And Sony forces you to pay Plus but Microsoft, at least for now, don’t. No, I don’t play online games. Maybe only RUclips, occasionally. I’m still in doubt what should I do, but I’m thinking about Series X.
I got both and regret getting the ps5. Don't get my wrong I really like it but once you beat the exclusives you never go back to it because Xbox x with the game pass is far superior.
To be honest, BOTH consoles have Pros and Cons. So to be fair, it comes down to preference on what you want to play and like. Console wars are annoying as hell. Me personally I don’t care what platform people play on, as long as you’re happy with a PlayStation, Xbox, PC, or Nintendo Switch, that should only matter. One is simply not better than the other. Just pick a platform and play, easy as that. Or am I too delusional to think that way? 🤷

I have both. Got the Xbox series X first Dec. 2023. Than the Ps Slim Feb 2024. I jave heard peaple say ( i only usey ps5 for the exclusive ). I 100% undesstand. Going from series to 5 im a bit spoiled with the ease of app and game switching. And i I swear xbox downloads everything faster.

Man xcloud is dope, just started using it and its impressed me. Sure its not the most seamless service, but its so cool how i can play games and on my laptop, it even looks better on laptop in some cases. I was playing fortnite and battlefront on my phone the other day and i was like " man this the future right here". That shit was badass.

So I'm hopefully not dumbing down your great video too much, but if I had to summarize what you are saying, it sounds like the PS5 Slim is the better video game console, whereas the current iteration of Xbox offers a much better gaming experience, in regards to overall value and total game selection.

Both systems have something to offer. It's a matter of preference. Some of us don't limit ourselves to one console over the other. We try to enjoy what each one brings whether it be Xbox, Playstation or Nintendo. Ultimately we should be enjoying games and not console wars which is childish and stupid.

I own both consoles the battery life is a joke on ps5 controller and xbox series x controller with xbox battery pack will last for days of gaming before needing charged.
I got my Xbox series x 3 days ago from Walmart so far no problems I mean it was making some noise when the disc was playing but it was very little noise I was coming from a series s I barely used that console and sold it for $180 on facebook marketplace that woman got a steal all the other Xbox series s listings are sketchy to say the lease i got my console because i couldn’t play delisted forza games on my series s it was my first console and I got it in late 2022 I believe it had no problems worked better then my little brothers ps4 pro
I've vividly seen someone play god of war on pc(pc not ps5), plus I'm not a big fan of paying that much to ps5 to simply play online, and Xbox has more value then ps5, I say this because after finishing a game such as Spiderman or the last of us 2 those exclusive are now just sitting there. but halo and Forza you can go online for free and play with others and that Forza hot wheels dlc is awesome. id buy ps5 sure but there fact that there's more to pay after buying expensive console is not good. Xbox controllers last long and feel pretty good compere to ps5, ps5 controller cool also but there, something that it can't take away from the Xbox controller. Xbox series x fridge design isn't great but it does fit well anywhere at home.

The Xbox also has two usb ports as well as the ps5.
You can also play all those p.s5 games on p.c to. Value goes to box and back catalog. Exclusives and tech goes to p.s5 but I still like the xbox controller better
I wonder if people know that they don't actually need an Xbox to use gamepass on the go. It sounds like that's the only reason you picked the Xbox over the PS5 which doesn't really help make a decision. Technically, you can buy a PS5 and still get gamepass for on the go if you really wanted to. I have a Series X, a Series S and a gaming PC. I don't really use either of my Xbox's because I'm mostly on my PC and I can play the same games on a better system. I'm thinking about selling my Series X, keeping my Series S and buying a PS5 for the PSVR and everything else that I can't play on either Xbox or PC.

The xbox series x doesn't run far cry 5 at 120fps. Both consoles run far cry 5 at the same frame rate - 60fps

Older games like BF1, BF4, BF5, titanfall2, battlefront2 and many other games got a 120fps boost and many others a 60fps boost.
Even some games not on the list like MW2019 are running on 120fps.
I have a PS5 original standard edition and so far it's been doing well so I've been enjoying playing my favorite games. I'm more a PlayStation fan but Xbox is also good.

I really like ps5 but I’m a big fan of the Xbox controller, it’s way more comfortable. I like that I can lie the Xbox down but the ps5 has to standup. Plus Xbox is windows so the controllers and the games I have on my PC would work on the Xbox
Hello I use to play ps1 when I was kid and I was born in June so that my first system then ps2 then ps3 and ps4 then it CD reader died on me so I went to Xbox series s because I could not find no ps5 back then now I can I want to to get ps5 where I can play the last of us and can you please do videos where I know which subscription I can get because if I can play old killzone game by getting that one subscription, I’ll be really happy but money is hard right now I just got my disability check and that don’t help really so I can’t just get ps5 next month so when I do get me ps5 I be happy when I get it back because I sick of change out batteries for my Xbox controller and their something I don’t like Xbox to and plus i PlayStation fan anyways
