- Nach 2 Auftritten in den USA fand die "Morse-Einspielphase" auf einem anderen Kontinent ihre Fortsetzung. In Asien standen 2 aufeinanderfolgende Konzerte in Seoul auf dem Plan (18. + 19. März). "Something Special With Deep Purple" stammt vom letzten Abend, der seinerzeit auch fürs koreanische TV aufgezeichnet wurde. Ein Konzert, das sich im Großen und Ganzen in dem für diese Zeit üblichen Rahmen bewegt (noch nicht alles perfekt, doch die Musiker haben ihren Spaß). "When A Blind Man Cries" erschien als B-Seite der 1972 erschienenen Single "Never Before". Es wurde während der Machine Head-Sessions im Dezember 1971 aufgenommen.
After 2 appearances in the US, the "Morse-Einspielphase" continued on another continent. In Asia, two consecutive concerts in Seoul were scheduled (March 18 and 19). "Something Special With Deep Purple" is from the last evening, which was recorded at the time for the Korean TV. A concert that broadly moves in the usual frame for this time (not everything is perfect, but the musicians have fun). "When A Blind Man Cries" appeared as the B-side of the 1972 single "Never Before". It was recorded during the Machine Head sessions in December 1971.
