  • High Focus Brain Training Music For Studying - Isochronic tones. This focus music track is for those work or study periods when you need to sustain a high level of concentration.

What is this track designed to do?
This track uses isochronic tones in the beta frequency range. The frequency of the isochronic tones builds in steps from 18Hz, to 19Hz, to 20Hz, gradually increasing the intensity. Your brain produces beta activity when you are alert and focused during the daytime. Increasing more beta brainwave activity has been shown to influence and improve your level of concentration and focus.
To help you sustain a high level of focus over a long period, around every half hour point the frequency drops to 10Hz in alpha to give you a 2-minute mental break. Alpha frequencies, in particular around the 10Hz range have been associated with memory activation. So this 2-minute alpha break every half hour can also serve to help you memorize what you've been studying and working on. After the 2-minute break, the same 18Hz to 20Hz cycle begins again.
How does this type of brainwave stimulation music work?
This is a brainwave entrainment audio session using isochronic tones combined with music. The isochronic tones are the repetitive beats you can hear on top of the music throughout the track. If brainwave entrainment and isochronic tones are new concepts for you, there is some information about that and how it works here: goo.gl/QwLgHs.
To add further power to the stimulation, amplitude modulation effects have been applied to the music which produces soothing vibrations that are synced with the isochronic tones. More info on how these mind music effects work here: goo.gl/5KS2Ek.
Why Isochronic Tones are Superior to Binaural Beats
When measured on an EEG, binaural beats produce only a very tiny response in the brain and have very little impact on brainwave driving. Isochronic tones produce a much more pronounced and distinct sounding beat, which makes them a more superior and effective tool for brainwave entrainment purposes. This is why I stopped using binaural beats over 10 years ago now and always use isochronic tones instead. You can read more about the comparison here: goo.gl/QwLgHs, which includes audio samples so you can hear the difference for yourself.
Headphones are NOT required for this video
How should you listen to this?
Play this track in the background while you are working or studying. When listening over a longer period I recommend drinking a glass of water to keep yourself hydrated. Research studies have shown that drinking water and being well-hydrated improves test results in exams. If you are studying intently while dehydrated you are using up your brain's energy and resources, without replenishing the water it needs to function well. If you want to perform at your best, look after your brain and stay hydrated while studying and doing anything that requires a high level of concentration.
How loud should the volume be?
Adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with. It shouldn't be so loud that it hurts your ears or becomes too distracting.

I like this a lot. I've been listening to isochronic tones for about a week; before that I used binaural beats. But a lot of tracks use rather ominous music. I like the musicality of this a lot better. Subscribing in hopes you have a lot more that use real music like this! I'd particularly love to hear something like what Ambient Worlds does, with isochronic tones underneath it!

I love all of your stuff (especially the Daydream Whale one) but this is by far my favorite yet. I really appreciate your channel, Jason. As a writer I spend a lot of time in front of my computer wishing I could be more efficient, more productive in the face of the blank page, and over the past month or so I have gravitated toward listening to your stuff every time I sit down to write. And WOW oh WOW has it made a tremendous difference!! I have gotten so much done. This stuff really works for me and I am so grateful you decided to create it and share it. Isochronic tones were shared with me by a family member and now I can't stop talking about them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This might be my favourite music track you've used. I bought some tones-only tracks to combine with my favourites but I think I actually prefer this one to my personal choices 😅

This is awesome! It really helps me focus and the music itself is epic, feels like I'm in some adventure movie, standing on top of a tall mountain (that mountain being the essay I'm writing :D). Thanks!

I am in graduate school and listen to a lot of your music while writing or studying. I just discovered this one. I think it is my favorite. It helps me focus and I really like that it is also upbeat and pleasant. I may listen to this one even when I am not studying.

@@MindAmend Hi Sir. I am listening again to your tracks for studying. I am at my peak when I do. While reading the information on this one I did come across a typo " Increasing more beta brainwave activity has been should" should read "showed" where "should" is. Please no haters for me pointing this out. It is for the benefit of Jason and the readers. 💯

@@lisachumney1983 Thanks for pointing that typo out. I think it reads better using the word shown but I'm willing to be corrected.

Nice tune. Actually helps. But I must say I have your remastered brown noise on another tab at the same time at full volume, and this one as low as possible. Thanks for the channel!

There's some very beautiful music in here, but I seem to experience ill effects from this and other isochronic tracks when I get stumped or frustrated by what I'm studying. It almost seems to amplify the negative emotions that go along with being frustrated or just not grasping a concept and I start feeling queasy. I'll need to turn this off for a while.

Does this help with being highly goal oriented focus

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  5 лет назад +1

It won't help with that just on its own. You would need to combine listening to it with some mental work of your own, like saying affirmations to yourself relating to your goals etc.

Awesome! This is Sal again keto_dude_sal tuning in my friend! Gave you a shout out on my story as well again, hope you make that Instagram account soon! Which tune do you recommend for boxing, I need alertness, reaction time, and calmness at the same time. Going to listen before going toe to toe, much love and Respect!Sal Castle keto_dude_sal on IG

Hi Sal, thanks for the shout out. I haven't made anything or tested anything specifically for boxing or similar before and I'm afraid I can't say whether I can help with reaction time. So that would be experimental. However, if I was doing this for myself I would try a beta track for alertness, combined with some bursts of alpha to inject some calm. The track in this video uses that combination but the alpha bursts are infrequent (every half hour), so I wouldn't recommend this particular one as a good fit for that purpose. I have a number of other more appropriate tracks, which use this combination to help produce a relaxed focus mental state. You can find them in this playlist: ruclips.net/video/8eiL4vbsEhI/видео.html. I hope that helps. Jason

Thank you for the advice Jason, currently I am using this track and your famous cognition enhancer for a major case study I'm working on. I will definitely look at the recommended track, thank you again for being so cool, and please do let me know when you create an IG account!Respectfully Sal Castle
