One of the best use of space in Van - i like that they manage to put shower/toilet in such a small space.
Cant believe how good it turned out and that you can fit a proper camper bathroom in the short version of this kind of van !

One of my favorite van conversions. This is the perfect sized van. Not too small. Not too big. It can fit in a single parking space. It even has a shower and toilet.

This is one of the best convertion camper vans I have seen on RUclips. I've seen other convertions but they don't have everything that I want to be comfortable like that nice shower. This layout would be perfect for me. Great video.

this is the best use of space i've ever seen! normally they leave empty soace and do not get a shower which can be quite a handicap
I feek this is the best most practical one. it has Everything. Its easy to park anywhere can cook shower poop and sleep. this probably even has wifi!
It looks like many people in the comments get a wrong idea from this video. It's not a video about van conversion, it's about a couple who rented a van for 10 days and enjoyed it!
This van was custom built for a small company that tends to tourists coming to Faro in the south of Portugal. They do NOT sell vans. They rent them out, as well as bikes, racks, towels, etc. It's the shortest base FIAT Ducato and should be easy to park in a city. They have more than one van now, it's a business.
Many people were not sure about cupboards so low above head over the bed but that was done intentionally, if you decide to rent another bed it could be installed on top of the cupboards for extra charge. Overall, it should be good for up to four students or a family because they charge for the day. Nice to have a place to crash! It get inexpensive if you have more people!
Tardis!!! What a great use of space, love the fixed bed. Not sure bout the cupboards over my face though. I'll make my bed a little higher to get bikes under. Fanatic video.

This layout looks perfect to me. Very versatile. Sleep and belted seats for 4, shower. Two living areas ( well one is a bed ) The ducato is wide enough for a acrossways bed. The only thing I would add is an oven ( roasts are important lol )

Welldone gang, use to have the Ducato...great van now have a self converted 2011 Movano van which I'm hoping to tour France, Portugal and Spain in starting about March for 12 months on my own...joys of retirement...by the way I'm from Tipton not to far from you I think.

Very nice van and you give it such a positive energy .May I ask you to please store the table top in a more secure place . GOD forbid a simple rear end or heavy slam on the break and that thing will be flying like a blade. Perhaps I am getting to cautious . Good luck
it probably doesn't look like it in the video but the table is behind a lip on the shelf so it is secure :)

Lovely diction. One good thing about watching you tube videos is that you get to hear all kinds of accent. A few questions -- you don't have a black tank? What kind of toilet do you have? And what about grey tank, where is that, under the van? How safe is it to keep such a big tank under the vehicle, does it not interfere with the vehicle's axle and other moving parts? On rough roads will the tank hit the road?
the van had a grey water tank under the van, and the toilet waste was in a casette toilet that you empty at designated sites! We didn't have a problem with the axle or anything and didn't really go on any rough roads, but the fiat ducato had a good space between the chassis and the road so the water tank wasn't causing a problem
hi, yes this is very compact and a travellers dream. i think i would remove the few seconds showing the safe....thats an invitation for people to scout for this camper and ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you know how people like to steal..... let the sales staff tell you about the safe at the place of purchase... precautions are very fashionable. lol..... safe travels.............no pun intended

Yeah if you don't need the option to sleep in the van with more than two people you can just make bigger ones a bit higher.

Hi Clarke, we have designed the layout, materials and overall concept and a specialized company and a carpenter have built. This year we will have new vans for 3 people bulit and fitted inteierly by us

Great video. Like the layout. Was the second bed that could be used a double? If so do you know how it worked, i.e one piece or could it fold away?
The Restoration Couple yeah it was a double so turns into a 4 birth. I'm pretty sure it would be one piece.

Great tour, We are going to do 7 days in Nov 2017 with Soul Campers. Can I ask? did you hire the bedding, did you take out the safe and cool insurance and when you were collected from the airport did you have the handover there or back at Soul campers depot? Thanks for all the info and videos.
Vaughan Southall hi! Yes we hired bedding, you can see it in our videos 😊 we took out the highest insurance you could get - I think it was the safe and cool level. We were met by Pedro in the arrivals car park and he showed us around the van and told us how everything worked. There is also a guide in the van if you forget. We met up with another colleague at the petrol station literally over the road from the airport on the drop off day. They took us to the departures so it really is great 😊
Is this van a LWB, I love the setup you guys have, we are thinking of doing an LWB conversion for us (2 adults and 3 kids under 10) for winter 2020 Lapland. At the moment we do all our European road trips in a grand c4 Picasso. But a camper van would be better. We are looking for a set up that sleeps 5 and it looks like a LWB Ducato, Boxer or Relay and your set can be tweaked a little for that. Have you got your van build plan available for sale. Hi Kim, the outside shower is really handy for surfers, to take out the sand and clean the wetsuit. The inside shower have hot water.
Great conversion! I have one detailed question to the seating bench that was installed in the back: is it the seating bench that is originally fixed in the front of the ducato? i am asking because of the seat belt tensioner, i could find the original bench only with a tensioner for one belt. does anyone know is there also a double seat bench tensioner available? thanks and br
