Man this is something a lot of people need to hear. I could be wrong, but I think this is especially important on lighter bikes like a 125. The amount of grip you get is truly night and day. I remember the first time I washed out bad, I thought the front needed less weight. Learned the hard way.
you want to make sure you are carrying momentum into the corner as this will help you lean the bike over. i would also suggest you sit further up on the seat when you get off the brakes and keep that front tire planted in the rut
Drag your front brake when you start to feel it pop out. Just try doing a rut normally and drag the front brake slightly the whole time. Your front wheel will stay more planted and always look forward , forget about the rut once your bike is leaned over, think about the exit and look at the end of the rut. Tilt your head too, tends to help me when I get sloppy.
Ok so with the smooth steady breaking and throttle, if you feel like the bike wants to exit the corner too tight (i.e. exiting a rutted corner), do you just sit back a lil bit next time around? Or slower throttle response at the peak?
I’ve improved so much over the past year after training with aj but I still can’t consistently hit the corners with the speed I should. I have my technique down I feel but I hesitate on getting on the gas hard in a lot of corners. There’s been I few times when I just grabbing a handful of throttle and got the right lean angle and ripped the corner but I can’t seem to do it consistently! Any tip you guys can give me to help??
@@illhaveanother4365 How about it stretches and wears the strap out and it's a goon move and how about it's a freaking joke so get your panties out of a wad and keep walking
This was great. Ended too early! I could have watched that whole training session 👍✌️

You guys are doing the best mx Tutorials! Greetings from germany!😄💨💨💨💨
On some ruts my front end occasionally hops out of the rut, does that mean I need more lean/speed?
If the front is coming out of the rut then you need to feather the front brake a little in the rut to keep it trailing correctly.
