My tender is zip tied to the seat strap mount so the excess doesn't fall out maybe try zip tieing it and also deka batteries off Amazon are great mine lasted 5 years.. also you can leave your battery on the tender all the time as long as it's a charger that turns off and just sits dormant sorta. My changer is a Harley tender
That makes sense. The new harness is shorter than the old one, so it won’t hit the muffler and melt. I don’t have a seat tie, but I may put a bit of velcro tape on inner side of the side panel to hold the tender adapter. That would keep it out of the way.
