    Started beautiful for me on St Swithin's day and finished a washout, so I guess I get half, 20 days rain and 20 fair:) is summer in retreat, very Autumnal, yellow and red leaves everywhere, cheers Brian.

    Thank you Brian, great forecast. The BBC Deep Dive show was called "Taste of summer". But what is the taste of summer?

      Doubt it.. I think the jet stream is basically fixed where it is.. and we’re stuck above it, in the cool, wet, cloudy zone 😏

    Not sure why I’m watching this….the weather forecast since the beginning of “summer” has been diabolical.. Rarely see the sun… just rain, rain, and more rain 👎🏼🌧️

    I wish we could go back to the summers of the late 2000s/early 2010s where the average temp even in the south here in summer was more like 19 to 21, and you'd only get a few days of 25 or 26 lol. The nights are what really suck now. It ends up being 30-35°C in my south-facing room after midnight when the humidity is pushing 100% outside. Even last September (when, admittedly, it was warmer than in the summer), I remember checking the temperature at 12:45am once and it was 33°C. Absolutely vile.

    How is it possible to jump up to 30 so quickly? Im sure that didnt used to be the case.

    • @cdg3818
      @cdg3818 Месяц назад +1

      As soon as the sun emerges for more than a day or so, the temperatures jump to 30 so quickly from nowhere. Just want warm sun nothing baking. Its very pleasant today about 23 here in SE, perfect with a few light clouds about.
