The lead singer David Draiman definitely has the pipes! What a range and almost operatic at times. He may look a little scary in this video, but he really is a kind and compassionate person. What a talent! I loved your reaction BF. ❤

i may be wrong, i often am, but i do believe is is operatically trained (this is on of his way softer songs, he is heavy meatal all day, and to hear him sing like this brings new meaning to legend) i grew up listening to Disturbed, and lemme tell ya, this i one in a few that are "sung". his voice is so fire with the metal too though, so check it out haha

David Draiman is such an amazing singer. This gave me goosebumps and had me in tears at the same time

I never listened to Disturbed before but I love this Simon and Garfunkel song. They really did this song justice!
Even though Disturbed is a hard rock/metal band that usually achieves their intensity using heavy volume, here they reached an intense level with quiet strength.
With a vocal performance like this, he has no need to flash the egg roll! This man's powerful vocal can bring a grown man to tears😢 great reaction.

I have now watched well over 100 reaction videos to this song. I live for that moment where the reviewer goes from the need to "Explain" things or other chatty comments to the moment of realization they have nothing to say, and instead need to just experience it in stunned silence. It is like I'm experiencing the song for the first time again.

I got the biggest kick out of watching you react! I went down the rabbit hole of Disturbed’s videos and concerts in 2020 as we were all shutting down with COVID. I saw this first and was hooked! I love their heavy metal performances as well as their ballads! David Draiman has an incredible voice. He was trained as a Jewish Cantor in his youth, which gives him that beautiful resonance in his voice. The others are gifted musicians. The band just released a new album last year. They just released an awesome official video of the Single from the album, Don’t Tell Me. Ann Wilson of Heart, the best female rock artist ever, duets with him!!! You cry for sure. It’s about the end of Draiman’s marriage last year. Checked the kind of artists you react to and really love the majority of the bands so I subscribed. Can’t wait to watch your reactions! You’re really original and fun!

When schools, especially public schools from kindergarten through high school, run out of funding, the first programs they cut ✂️ are the art's, music, theater, etc. Also, ISOLATION, DIVISION, LONELINESS, NOT COMMUNICATING, NOT STANDING UP FOR OUR RIGHTS OR EXPRESSING OURSELVES AND WHAT WE BELIEVE IN. First off, if I had recommended this cover or any cover of "The Sound of Silence" to you or any of these channels, I would have told you/them to first play the original video by Simon and Garfunkel. Paul Simon wrote this classic song in 1964 and I think their first video was released in 1965.

Do yourself a favor and listen to Down with the Sickness sometime which is a personal favorite. I have listened to them since they started and never knew he could sing something like this.
