OSU fan here, its almost like I watched the same game twice yesterday. Really good defense and sorry offense(O line issues sorry QB play most of the game). The good thing for OU is it looks like Hawkins gives yall something Arnold doesn't. Plus he showed a ton of guts done at the goal like multiple times, putting his shoulder down once then the flip. Hawkins should def be QB 1 going forward IMO. Good luck next week at Auburn.

OU hasn't been able to run the ball in 3 years. There hasn't been an All Big 12 offensive lineman in 4 years since Creed Humphrey. No other lineman since 2018! I understand some have gone to the pros, but Guyton didn't dominate last year. The transfers are all busts other than Turkin, and he is average at best! I think we need a complete overhaul of the offensive staff. I hate to say it, but go up to Tulsa and hire back Kevin Wilson. I don't know who to have as a QB coach. Wilson has been a winner at OU and Ohio State. Murray seems to be a great recruiter, but they don't seem to understand how or who to block! Tight ends can't block on the edge. Receivers are trash at blocking. I don't give a flying F*** about the injuries. These players are getting paid to play! They should embrace the chance to see what they can do!

BV needs a quick hook at the end of the season if there isn’t massive improvement. So sad to watch our defense work so hard. Now the coaches didn’t throw a stupid interception or fumble or throw a backwards pass. And I’m glad they went with Hawkins. You need a foot for a TD and you line the qb up in the shotgun? SMH. Very disappointing. Thanks again for calling it like you see it.

If the defense can keep this up and the offense can be just decent with Hawkins, we can be a 9-3 team. We now have a great sense of what the SEC is like facing a team that definitely could win it, and we held them to a 10 point game with almost zero help from the offense. If Hawkins started this game, do we win? I dont know but i believe we would of taken advantage of those short fields. All in all just keep improving. Texas, Old Miss and Alabama are the only 3 opponents left that are in the Tennessee realm. The defense should keep us in those games, Hawkins i think could help us win one or two of them.

The lack of game planning around our personnel and then the play calling is atrocious based on the personnel we have out on the field. It’s like having a 5’9” point guard and then playing him down on the blocks. I would have thought a guy with Seth’s experience would be coaching at a completely different level than he is. The lack of attention to detail under Seth is mind boggling. To me it looks like BV has never stepped foot into the offensive side of things. We look like 2 completely different teams out there with our offense and defense. No way would a BV coached group play like our offense plays. Has BV given too much latitude and put way too much trust in Seth doing the right thing? It sure looks like it. They play a completely different type of football from one side to the other. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen regarding the makeup of a team. I don’t know how the defense doesn’t just walk in and whip their ass the second they hit the bus. Just disgustingly embarrassing and so far below what an OU offense should look like. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such a disparity top to bottom than I see right now between the two sides of the ball. Just embarrassing
Oh and the final thing…….absolutely NO LEADERSHIP ON THE FIELD. NONE! I’ve never played on a team at the high school or college level that was worth a shit without strong leadership and we don’t have strong leadership but we have ZERO! So confused on how BV has allowed that side of the ball to look this way. Biggest BV fan there is but you have to call it like it is and the buck stops with him at the end of the day and it’s his job to make sure this gets fixed the best it can. Oklahoma should.
