Fear is very difficult to convey in today's world with very real monsters on all sides. However, it's lovely to discover that there are so many people out there who also enjoy a spine shivering tale. Thank you, Mr. Stanton. I shall be looking out for more.
I enjoyed this play, I wasn’t lost to the comedic value of Tom and Florence with the dead dog lol. I’m loving the radio dramas you are uploading Arch. Please carry on the good work, I’m here every day 😊
I LOVED this scary tale 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you for uploading 👍
Reminds me of a story by Sheridan le Fanu, called ‘Shalken the Painter’ (not sure of spelling) in that, a young girl is married off to a wealthy, but clearly dead, gentleman, while her devoted admirer is left in the living world, unable to rescue her. Victorians had so many psychological hang-ups - made for great storytelling.
That was so good! Thanks heaps Arch
Excellent..... thank you!
Wonderful thanks🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Goodness this was a truly spine chilling tale Arch!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍😊
Historical, hysterical with a touch of 'sea fever'! Reminds me of theat nautical tale 'cutting the painter' or was it 'fun at the ropes end'.
Just the ticket for a sleepless night. Thank you.
Salome was such a snivelling wimp, she deserved the dread Humph
Poor misunderstood Humphrey.👹
👹👹👹
The plot is interesting but the constant hysterical shrieking and whimpering are very off-putting.
That's for sure. I'd about had it when it finally ended.
Thanks for the warning! I usually listen to radio plays to get to sleep... shrieking and police sirens make for very strange dreams!
Thank you
Chap with the wings, five rounds rapid...
This should never had been written
Old post but why shouldn't it have been written?
Salome married Humphrey for his money, so the young man should have walked away. But then there would be no story !
please put
SPOILER ALERT
before anyting else
thank you
and don't spoil it for others
