Is this pc support gen 3 (like WD SN570) or gen 4 (like WD SN580) ssd? Please help me purchase and choose the right one or share the correct SSD for my Gen 2 variant.

You're saying that the company has given you Gen 3 SSD with Gen 4 motherboard. If you're going to buy a new SSD, definitely buy Gen 4 SSD, it'll give you much better performance.

Bro, just yesterday I suggested 512 GB SN 580 to a friend, right now only this SSD seems good According to the price, if you cannot wait until any Diwali or winter sale or something, buy it, it'll be good as the OS drive, don't worry. I was lucky to get XPG S70 BLADE 512 GB for 4200 8-9 months ago in a sale, currently it is for 5400 Rs. But right now SN 580 will be great, not a bad SSD at all.

My laptop is gen 3 supported. But I bought sn580 gen 4. I get 3.1-3.2 GBps. Full speed of gen 3. So how you tell it gives only 2GBps. Did you surely use it in gen 3 laptop. Don't misguide people. Looks like you are promoting other brand. Give any information when you have full practical knowledge about it or else you should not comment any stupid things. It's very problematic to us. 1st time I think may be you are right then I thought many times to buy this ssd. At last I bought it. don't go for s70 blade. there are lots of reviews of it dying unexpectedly. then you have to claim the warranty which is also said to be a big headache process. the particular controller in that SSD is known to do that. but also don't go for anything from ADATA. if you are buying for PS5 or data loss is not a big issue then u can go for it. I needed a new boot drive and reliability was important. I went for the Kingston KC3000 2tb which is a top performer in all aspects and only 3k more expensive than s70 blade.

it has good specs and performance, on paper it looks great but it is not reliable. agar aap boot drive banana chahte hai then I would not recommend. agar aapko extra drive ke liya khareedna hai, and u dont mind losing the data in case something goes wrong then you should go for it. but it is not reliable. there are lots of stories of it failing, i searched and found a lot. even in the amazon reviews.@@sunainshaikh1416
main point of hard drive should be reliability. same specs but slightly more expensive is kingston KC3000. actually u can even go for a slightly slower drive as long as it is good.
main points to see are- SLC cache size, speed when SLC cache is empty vs full, which gen your mobo supports and which gen you want (SSD's are backwards compatible with older gens), is DRAM there or not, do you even need DRAM.
I suggest you go through reviews of the SSD u wanna buy from good sources like techpowerup or tomshardware, and the amazon customer reviews.
