Enjoyed the video with your son in law, put him behind the camera once in a while to liven things up a bit. We always enjoy your videos and your honesty also.
I’m sure if Doug finds a heck of a deal on a unit he’ll put his best foot forward on trying to purchase it…the whole we try to keep our transactions to a minimum…that might be a stretch
I didn’t say we keep them to a minimum. I limit the number of transactions. We can only handle so much business Believe me I keep myself and my guys extremely busy all week every week. It’s a legit business model I have held for years even from my time in the car business. Quality over quantity!
Doug, how about a video on the affect of California phasing out heavy duty diesel trucks - including class A DP's - Newmar said the DP chassis manufacturers will not be able to sell 2025 units to California and 5 other states starting Jan 1, 2025. How will this affect the used DP market?
@ rvmiles RUclips channel has it. DeMartini RV sales RUclips posted it first. They received a letter from Newmar saying only existing 2025’s in the state before Jan 1, 2025 could be sold, after that no more. I think I could not buy a 2025 DP out of CA and bring it into the state. The new Advanced Clean Truck Regulation followed by California and five other states, as of January 1, 2025, bans all new vehicles over 8,500 pounds unless their manufacturers also make a certain percentage of zero-emission Electric Vehicles.
It’s going to take awhile before the market adjusts to the administration. I’ve got a trip booked to Key West in April. I planned the trip budgeting for $4.00 a gallon gas, (im in northern IL) I’m hoping now that price will be lower. We have been in the upper to mid $3 a gallon gas. I’m on hold for a new DP right now. But still will buy in the future.
@@dodgeguyz I agree. Just very interesting to see the instant reaction in wholesale prices in my small circle. It has the feeling of a temporary shift We will know more next month.
I’m appreciative of your business style and guidance.

It doesn't hurt that the fed dropped interest rates at the same time.
I sold mine when trump lost, I'm buying another this month
I will check back in a year or so!
This market is the seller's market, not the buyers market.

I am not familiar with this particular news.
Sorry

Unrealistic Optimism. Set back and watch. We will start paying higher prices for everything. Rest assured!
👍🇺🇸
Woild be interesting to compare to 2020 Biden win.

Ya, that one is beyond what I know. Not sure why, maybe it’s just a knee jerk reaction? Who knows. We will see what happens.
Please stop with the same opening music and cringe
