- The plaintiff and defendant are still legally married, but the plaintiff wants his estranged wife to know their marriage is over. He says the defendant abandoned him three times and got him arrested under what he claims were false accusations. He’s suing for unpaid bills and emotional distress. The defendant argues their relationship has been over for a long time. She says the plaintiff kicked her and her son out of their house, leaving them homeless. She’s countersuing for emotional distress.

They aren't even together anymore, and she's threatening bodily harm. If they took care of business early on, maybe he would've had an incentive to change his ways.

Sad case but why (plaintiff) come on a nationally syndicated program to announce that your marriage is over! This woman stepped out on you 3 different times and yet you took her back all those times. That was one of your biggest mistakes. Onl
y allow a person to step out on you once!! Any more times it's your faults for allowing her to return. But Mathis was completely unfair to him in this situation and as soon as the defendant provided their sons letter, I knew he was cooked. Women pick these men then come crying later for their bad decisions. Spare me! I don't want to hear it.

I have a family member whose father abused her for a major part of her childhood. When she grew up she dealt with a man who abused her and constantly went back, because mentally she felt like that’s what love was. Painful sometimes. Being that her own father did that to her in her childhood. I say that to say, you don’t know what someone’s trauma or mental state is when they make those type of decisions. It may have taken her awhile, but she figured it out and got out of the situation. Spread love and empathy ✨❤️
