The only way Caitlin Clark survives against the other men is if they don't play any defense on her, like in family picnic games. If she has to go against real defense, she's done. Also, there shouldn't be any rule changes to accommodate her. It's also asinine that Jason suddenly throws out all the physical differences between men and women to try and get this idea to happen. Yes, Steve can take a charge better than Caitlin.

I think I see a pattern going on with media. Dawn Staley recently called Paige Bueckers most elite player in college. Cube is being self serving. It’s a diss and troll. He knows she would struggle. Yet denying makes “her look bad”. It also makes the other girls pissed off or upset. Trying to figure out the goal of what media is doing with her. You get propped up or stay long enough to see yourself become the villain. Women don’t support women and I see a certain demographic hating on her

I was 20 yrs old and no one wanted to guard this college women's player hard on a pick up game. Thirty years later I'm still joked on when I went "Michael Cooper/Bruce Bowen". She complained to her boyfriend, and her boyfriend responded, "well, be physical right back".

What garbage idea. There's not a woman on the planet who's going to be able to stop men who played in the NBA, who are all over 200 lbs. Have you seen the Big 3? It's a slug fest. It's old school 80s and 90s basketball. What girl is going to handle that? Clark and any other girl will get seriously hurt.

If there was an effort to set up rules for a 3-on-3 team to include women, then it is a genius move by Ice Cube. But, I can't see how those rules would be.
She can catch up against those older, kinda less athletic men. But, those older and bigger dudes tend to play more physical than today's NBA players. What if they accidentally elbowed her on the face and broke a part of her face. I would still watch it though out of curiosity.

Real 3 on 3 ball is a lot more physical than 5's. if you've ever played in 3 on 3 tournies its physical and exhausting. You have 3 players defending half court instead of 5. Theres nowhere to hide or take a breather.

One thing not discussed is that CBS is behind this. We are in a money driven country and CBS wants to boost viewership (financial income) where there is a pop-star they can capitalize on. Because Ice Cube's BIG3 and the WBNA are both in the CBS market this makes sense strictly from the money point of view. They want to use Caitlin up before she falls to obscurity in the lack luster WMBA. Now there are some other young female college basketball stars on the rise that could make the WMBA more significant if they can join Caitlin in the league while she has her following. The media's job is the use as many events to keep Caitlin in the pop-news until some of these other players can join her. The WMBA will become relevant when these young stars can be showcased together. I will also add that this younger generation will be further removed from the historic racial bigotry that is part of the older generation. Things are changing for female athletes across the board - huge stars setting all kinds of records in track & field.
