bought the book "Gambling For Life " on the back of this interview , I find Harry Findlay an inspiration ....and yes , there should be a movie based on his life story and yes , he should be on TV racing coverage , that would be epic !!
The not caring about losing it all is something he has in common with top poker players, how they can cope with the financial roller coaster is beyond me, I get depressed if I drop 20 quid on something
They see the bigger picture do not dwell on losses .do not give in relentless and gutsy plus the fact they seemingly have endless resources or a good ma too borrow a quick grand off, whatever it requires balls....If you get depressed over 20 quid drop is gambling for you.? just saying...
How about the misery roar when ruby Walsh jumped off Annie power twice ,but the first time was undescribable groaning ,harry surely knows it's bent lol.
He means he was an unders man...usually slightly better prices for under 2.5 than over 2.5 goals. He believed that unders/overs was close to evenly split and so wanted to get 11/10 instead of 10/11
Can anyone tell me why Jesse May an American Poker commentator is doing this chat with Harry Findlay. I did hear Neil Channing's voice in the video and he also is a poker player. Is this TX odds some new betting company set up by poker players.
he,s fucking upstart just like me, i used to train racing dogs, honestly, i allways tried to give my dogs the best chance to win ,i never stopped a dog, always tried to win
Hes a bookies man. Completely clueless. He being working for the bookies for years. His book is pure horse manure. And ive read just about every horse race book out there.
Findlay is fascinating but he does divert from a subject and cuts himself off constantly. The American boy is a nice guy but nigh on useless as an interviewer. Could do with someone far more engaging.
Could listen to old school punters like this all day
Search Star sports on here they interview the old school guys weekly youll love it

Nice to have a good mum who believes in your ability to get yourself out of the shit when the pressure is on and the chips are down.
Wish we could see Harry on tv on any racing channel, Legend.

What did the professor mean by always bet 11 to 10 instead of 10 to 11?
Aprodite he means in a UK football match when a team gets a man sent off.
Back the team with 11 men not 10
After thinking about it thats what I assumed he meant. Thanks a lot for the clarification johnnyeboy.

Top Bannana!
the main man
He cant stay on a story without jumping to something else...he's all over the place...remember its a game of opinions and HIS is only an opinion

And lost the lot.Matchbook punters lost the lot too.Not allowing withdrawls.
Penhill G1 at chelt...Lizard gets his second G1 in 6 months
Harry if you betted on even money dogs over the years ,you'd not only be in the gutter you'd of been dead meat .
The level of cattiness in some of these comments is off the scale.
