I live in Japan. All of the landscapes are familiar and familiar to me, but when I see them through your lens, they are so beautiful. Thank you so much for coming to Japan.
I am blown away by everything in this video, from the intense photography, to the pleasant aesthetics that is Japan, to marvelling at the sheer performance of this tiny camera (relatively speaking). The colour grading of the entire video, B-rolls and framing are what I inspire to achieve one day.
I loved this video, a genuine and understated approach to street photography, and interesting to follow your photography journey. You've really nailed your style, I also love to shoot at night and in the rain so it's great to see your approach and work. Some beautiful images and inspiring to see others who are so committed to creating something beyond the mainstream. I feel that street photography is often reduced to the lowest common denominator, so videos of this quality are so welcome. I have recently switched to the Fuji X-T5 and primes, which is lightweight and unobtrusive (no heavy bags!), not full frame but incredible resolution and works extremely well when shooting with ambient light.
Hi Kevin thank you very much for the comment, I really appreciate it! At times I wanna try the xt5 too but then I remember I already have too many cameras.
This is an important video for yourself and your on-lookers, it shows how far you have come with composition, feel an emotions and away from text book styles of photography. A good comment about the X100V being over-rated and a good transition of your best works, albeit I think you have some nice works in Dubai and nights streets works in Asia; the rain and bus shelters on other videos. @1:03 @1:34 @3:02 @5:03 show you peeling away from the norm and doing what you enjoy over what other channels might think it's all about gear.
Thank you, really appreciate this type of comment. I guess if I only had a single day and had to produce something, a rainy night in tokyo is hard to beat. I'm currently back in Dubai and it's ten times harder to stumble upon good shots here, although it can definitely be done!
this video is really inspiring! i was lucky enough to catch the rain in tokyo at the same time, its such a good feeling when everything inspires you. Tokyo, especially in the rain gets me in the flow everytime.
Stunning work. I’ve been traveling between Japan and South Korea for the past 3 weeks and my back is destroyed. Camera, lens, gimbal…gosh man weights a ton
those photos and videos are amazing. I love to start photography but I just cant seem to start. But after watching this video, I really wanna try it again. Thanks for the inspiration
Loved watching this, Tokyo being such a walkable/commutable city I believe lends itself to be able to easier capture in both photography and videography. Even something that appears to be fairly ordinary comes to life with some rain and neon lights. Living in a heavily residential suburb makes it challenging to capture something "interesting", I'm interested to hear your thoughts on finding inspiration and creativity amongst the dull and mundane.
beautiful work! Love seeing a video with LOLTS of video/photo footages coming from the camera titled. Better than just people talking about it. Thanks for sharing your experience!
One of your best videos, I feel. Mainly because I dig your aesthetic and my X100v is also part of my daily carry. Plus I too take a landscape and a portrait shot too…
I'm watching this literally while sitting in our hotel room in Ginza :-D Sadly my 135mm lens decided to quit on me upon arriving here, but I try to get the best out of my 20-35 2.8 and 85 1.2 :-)
@@teemu.mp4 I'll do my best :-) I'm looking forward to see the results of my 20-35 2.8 as it's one of the "oldtimers" of my lenses, being roughly 30 years old :-D So far I think it punches above it's used price tag :-)
Everybody : Ah sh*t it's going to rain, might have to do some indoor stuff :( Teemus : Hold my roll of film *runs out to shoot* :-) I've got the X100V since it launched, and i have to agree with you. The video is the most underrated part of it, with combination of Fuji's film styles or custom film style you can get readily graded footage that looks pretty high quality out of such a tiny package. Try the slow-motion video. It's super impressive.
Thank you! Slowmo not being 4k has made me avoid it so far because I do have other cameras that can do it better if I actually need it, but tbh I forgot it was even a feature.
So cool and so peaceful video that i couldnt take my eyes off this, and yeah with alot of incredible shots, i loved that train scene at 9:14 where focus was shifting alternatively on outside view and then on train window showing reflection of inside wooh
I live in Tokyo. After watching your videos, I discovered that the scenery of Tokyo that I usually see looks different. your video is very beautiful. I also recently started making videos. I want to be able to make videos like yours.
Something that has me so conflicted about this camera is that it's pretty much everything I want in a point-and-shoot camera, but lacks 2 things that would make it probably as perfect as it could get...1. A fully articulating screen and 2) In-Body Image Stabilization. The Fuji100VI has the latter and that's why I'm waiting for those to be back in stock so I can pick one of those up, but I'm hoping they implement a fully articulating screen in the future. Edit: For the record, the reason I want IBIS is because I shoot mainly street photography with a little bit of video for social media.
Sorry i took a screen shot of you picture for my laptop wallpaper, bro your pictures are to beautiful am a cinematographer from India and i know how much it takes to make a quality content like this - Speechless seriously. Lots of love and lots of subscribers to your channel All the best bro ^^

This is honestly one of the best videos I have watched - amazing pace of the video, amazing photography and colour, and sound engineering. Loved it.

Superb! Did you went there in the last weeks of March?
dude. the grading in this. Delectable. Did you use a LUT and tweak it or was it entirely a custom grade?
All custom. Also I never heard the word delectable before 😂
@@teemu.mp4 it means delightful, delicious, beautiful. ❤️ amazing grade my friend
