    Hey Marc and Team:
at 1:45, he refers to using only a damp rag to wash the block /lid. I have the Magenta Prestige and there is a similar design. Is this because the screws are not water proof and subject to rust and should be kept away from the water?

Hi Wayne, The Accademia carafe is similar in some ways to the Magenta and different in others. No issues getting it wet and causing rust.

@@Wholelattelovepage I see. I did note that yea in the Magneta, there were those screws. I was apprehensive of exposing them to water due to risk of rust. Do you guys happen to know what material the screws are made of?
Also the sliding action of the Magenta, there is a Spring inside the slider top block. Is that also safe for water exposure?

Can someone please help me figure out how to reinstall the black tubing that accidentally pulled out when cleaning the milk frother to my Gaga Academia? I could thread it back through but it does not seat well and moves around. I tried and tried to pull the tiny lip on it through the dispensing hole with no success.

Hi sr, here's a video covering assembly of the carafe: ruclips.net/video/U74EbhCbl4g/видео.htmlsi=a0Cfud-sMA0eP-qv

My Babila cleans the milk system automatically every time (every day). So, how often do I need to take the frother reservoir apart as in this video and clean it??

Hi D W, Thanks for the question. That automatic cleaning which pushes steam/hot water through the components leaves the carafe ready to go back in the fridge. If using daily and carafe is going from fridge to machine, getting the quick clean right after use and quickly back to the fridge then I'd take apart for cleaning every 3-4 days of use. Do it sooner if you notice a decrease in frothing performance which is usually a result of milk residue obstructing an internal component of the carafe.

When disassembling, can you remove the black part that has the black hose going into the handle so that it can also be soaked in the Rinza solution? Or, is that not necessary?

Hi Calvin, It's not necessary to remove the black part and hose. You can soak the entire part with black fitting/hose/spout in Rinza or work some Rinza solution into the hose through opening in black part and the end of spout. Hope that helps.
