I just got mine. I got it from Optic planet as well. I had to order rings from Amazon. I wish I had gotten from Primary arms. They have a discount on the mount. I like this model because you can go without the red dot. That is why I went with this model. I spent a couple of months doing research. To find the best one, with the options I wanted. At an acceptable price range. I running. 16" barrel with a 1/7 right handed twist. I think its right handed.
Good vid. Have the SLX 1-8 for my AR15. Love it. Was planning on buying another for my AR10. Even thought about the 1-10. The box on the 1-10 seemed a little if compaired to the 1-8, especially for such a small mag increase. Then i saw the Nova 1-6. Decided to put the 1-8 on the AR10, and put the Nova on the AR15. Will miss the 8x, but 6x on the 15 should be ok. One thing i wish it had are the wind breaks. No good reason for them not being there. Vertical ranging marks would have been nice, too. It's in the mail, so looking forward to using it.

@jamesheldman4659 yeah, during shot show they were asked if they would make a 1-10 FFP and they said they're working on it but won't release anything til it's perfect. I'm assuming it would be in the PLx line. As for the 2-12, I completely agree.

Is it a dedicated off position or just a space in between? If it's not a marked spot between each number, then it's just dead spot between each contact in the dial.

Second focal plane is perfect for this optic. It basically can act like a red dot at 1x and true LPVO during magnification

It's a great optic. Specially at the price point. I don't know if there's anything else out there that compares at that price.
I wonder if this optic would work well with a lever action gun like Henry Big Boy X 357 Mag
I imagine it would. It's rated up to .50 cal recoil and has pretty good eye relief.
I recently got the GLX 1x6 for $350 I really think it is the best scope for this price. PA is the scope company we all needed.

I didn't know they were making a PLX 1x10. I would like to see them make a PLX 2x12 in a compact serup

I just got one, and on mine there is a space between illumination settings where the dot is completely off. Did I get lucky or did they change it?

@@airborneivan it's not a marked spot, and it's a pretty small sweet spot between each setting. Seems functionally the same to me though
