With the default setting of 7px, gyro gain should be assigned to the PS6 dial. Turn the PS6 and lower the AVCS value. When it is lowered below 0, it switches from AVCS mode to normal mode. At that time, the GYD470 LED will light from red (AVCS) to green (normal).

What transmitter are you using?
If you are using Futaba, keep turning the gyro gain dial to go from AVCS mode to normal mode
