- We spend 24 hours at Phantasialand Wintertraum as the Phantasialand Christmas event is in full swing with a whole host of festive fun and a beautiful range of Christmas Phantasialand shows to indulge in.
From staying at the Charles Lindberg Hotel to exploring Rookburgh and the surrounding areas this was one German theme park trip to remember!

My first visit to Phantasialand and it certainly won't be my last as their Wintertraum Christmas event was truly incredible and marked the end of my overseas trips for the 2023 season.
Going back next year after 30 it's nearly completely changes and it was brilliant then even blew Alton Towers away! Only one better I've been is Eftaling!
I also plan on going back to Eftalif same trip but this time a couple of days in Europapark staying at the hotel there too

Wintertraum is the best time to visit Phantasialand in my opinion. Not without any reason it's been recently awarded the best theme park event in Germany.
It absolutely deserves it, beautiful atmosphere and beautiful shows. It well and truly feels like Christmas now!
This park has the perfect themed elements for projection mapping 🤯

You kept this trip quiet!!...Green with envy. If/when i ever get there, I'll definitely stop at Charles Linburg. It's such a unique place to stay, and you get Fly fastpass!!! What a year you've had! 👌 👏

You couldn’t have picked a better time to go to Phantasialand for your first visit dude !! One of the best theme parks in the world with one of the best Christmas events
I bided my time! If I'm going to do something I'm going to do it right! aha
Geister Rikscha is a ride you can only feel if you grew up with it. I was in there as a child, hugging my grandma because I was so afraid. It is the last ride left from the good old times of the park, and I really hope it will last a few more years.

I am most certain I will! First time in Charles Lindbergh as well for me, had a long time without visiting, came back in October and was immediately hooked again 🥰

Went earlier this year and also stayed at Charles Lindbergh and it was the best theme park experience I've ever had. I would go back once a year if I could.
My friend I went with is also a big enthusiast. I felt that nemesis is the technically better ride but I enjoyed the experience of black mamba more. She actually felt the opposite.
Colorado Adventure genuinely has no business being as good as it is. I can't even think if it as a runaway mine train, its in a league of its own.
We also had the same reaction to you when looking at the big drop on Chiapas of How?!?! But I love that ride so much I have the party cave music as my alarm tone in the morning
Do you really aha that’s quite the alarm! Aha Colorado Adventure may just be my second favourite ride there I cannot even lie 😂😂

We've just had a couple of days there and my god is the park absolutely beautiful! Will definitely have to consider staying at the hotel next time, it looks brilliant!
Being in the hotel makes it even more immersive, the outside world doesn't exist it's just you and this themed space for the duration of your whole stay

We love and adore Taron, it has a special place in our hearts, even above the amazing FLY! Klugheim is stunning, Rookburgh the same. Just what a park!!! As you say, UK parks are not at the races. They are miles off when it comes to atmosphere, theming, details, score etc!
I absolutely loved it and I'm so glad I managed to cross it off the list before the end of the year!

phantasialand is my favourite theme park ever i love it haven't done fly yet hopefully going in jan for wintetraum my favourite ride is mystery castle and taron and totally agree nemmy pisses all over black mamba !!

Sean your vlogs are always good quality 🤳 informative 👨🏻🏫 and entertaining 🤩 but what I like best is seeing your reactions 😁 I’ve not been on it but black mamba looks great but my heart always belongs to nemesis
For the first 30 seconds of Black Mamba it wipes the floor with Nemesis but then it just stops... it's such a shame but Nemmy just smacks you with that intensity start to finish
It's an absolutely stunning park,we did 2 nights at the hotel matamba and 1 at Charles Lindbergh. Fly was a bit uncomfortable I thought 🤔. But Taron is just insane 😁
I didn’t find FLY too bad! Taron sadly I did after much much better Intamins, I really should have done it first 😔 aha
Rookburgh is just a stunning themed area.
Heading back in Jan and staying again at CL. The pods are very cosy for sure. I think F.L.Y. is my favourite coaster in the park. It's definitely more intense towards the front and also has more airtime compared to the back.
We sat back in the seats and gave the rather stiff harness some room and the airtime we got was crazy… although I regretted it.. bruised all of my stomach 😂😂
i need to go back because we had for too many crowds. FLY is my number 1 for sure, front row at night was almost a religious experience

Best time to visit imo is late summer when the crowds have died down :)

@@LiftHillsandThrills Good question. I guess, I like the whole package. First of all the theming is outstanding. TARON just looks amazing. And I think the track layout is nearly perfection: There is not a single boring moment on the ride. Many rides have like 1 or 2 high-points and the rest is kinda MEH...I also like, that it is almost impossible to remember the layout, since you simply cannot see everything. It is fast, it is smooth, it is creative, it is beautiful .. and on top of that (often ignored) the Soundtrack is fantastic. The ride simply does everything right. Looks, Thrill, Sound, ... everything is at a 10... At least to me. Lol.
I can't see Amanda Thompson shelling out for rides and themeing like this.

@@LiftHillsandThrills She doesn't look after the rides at Blackpool, she runs them into the ground and are quite shabby looking and they look as they need a good lick of Paint, especially being close to the sea.

I'm not sure if the shows are on everyday I'm afraid but I can tell you I went in the week, not a weekend
have you been on a saturday and sunday? if yes... how with the waiting times for the top attractions?
We haven’t no, it was busy on the weekday when we went so I can only imagine it being even more so on Sat / Sun
Imagine going to a theme park and the hotel was a 0 star and imagine Alton Towers made a hotel called the rollercoaster hotel and you can sleep on a rollercoaster
