Hi TPW It's so great to see you back at this park. But I wanted to tell you both something. Last month was my first time at Phantasialand, I was inspired last year when I discovered this channel to plan my first ever international theme park trip. I used your travel guide and recommendations to plan my trip and had the best time ever! This channel has reignited my childhood love of theme parks and i'm planning on doing more next year. I guess i just wanted to say thank you, these videos have genuinely impacted my life
Phantasialand must be one of the most beautifully themed parks in the world, as you say Shawn you feel you are walking into a movie. The roller coasters are some of the best in the world in enclosed spaces very intense. Love the way the theme park is laid out, maybe one day I’ll make the trip to Germany to do this fantastic park.
Just hearing the soundtracks gives me shivers. I love this place so much. It was my home park for the most of my life. Went there once or twice every year since the year before they opened wuze town. It felt truly like Phantasialand was growing up with me. Klugheim Rookburgh are just so well done. Love to see the park getting the attention it deserves. Until now no park could steal the first place in my heart from phantasialand. Reagrding their epic work and my deep relationship with park I guess no park will ever top that. I have so many memories, waiting till I'm tall enough for mystery castle 'cause that was THE thrill ride in the park in the early 2000s. Getting a light ride in the morning on Temple of the NIght Hawk which is now the VR coaster (also that coaster still smells exactly like 25 years ago - I will be sad when it has to go some day). Had to ride almost 10 other mine trains to realize just how good colorado adventure is and how lucky I was with this ride as a kid. The sound when black mambas trains leave the station...Going on winjas the first time at like 7 years old and not knowing about the escalator at the start or the fun things at the end of the ride. Geister Riksha is really like a relict from the old times to me, but I also see it's rotting. Oh I miss the Arabian Nights ride, Silver Mine and Hollywoodtour and the monorail where only a child could sit comfortably. I fondly remeber the old rides but also my appreciation for their new things is like endless. I go to phantasialand minimum once per year in the winter and might cry the moment all the lights are turning on remembering sitting on my father's shoulders watching der Festival of Light Parade they had back than. Always packing a rain coat and water proof shoes for my chiapas winter rides. Did you know they had white tigers there in the 90s form Siegfried and Roy who apparently just gifted tigers all around the globe. My grandma who is 93 years old still remembers going to Phantasialand with my mum and uncle when their Western City was newly build ( at the spot where now sits Klugheim). The struggles with the authorities and expanding the park made me even a bit angry as a child, but now I see also what kind of creativity it sparked. Sadly Phantasialand's head of design died in 2022. Eric Daman was working there since Colorado and was responsible for the big additions of chiapas, klugheim and rookburgh. Got a bit sentimental, just wanted to share
This is a really fantastic park, I think. Not only are the coasters and other rides great choices in terms of hardware, they are done so well regarding length and theming.
I'm watching your RUclips video now before I go to work at 4:00 until 8:00 later today. Coasters look epic! Have a great time and have fun Shawn and Charlotte!
Without a doubt Rrookburgh is one of the best themed areas that you will ever visit. It took me several rides to get used to this coaster and like Shawn mentioned up front is just awesome! I would certainly recommend queuing that little bit longer for a front row ride because it is worth the wait.
My wonderful girlfriend has got me a trip to phantasialand for Christmas!! It will be only my second non UK theme park and I CANNOT WAIT!!!! Naturally, one of the first things I did when she told me was to find a phantasialand vlog on themepark worldwide. Come on Taron!!
My son is planning a trip here next year after following your channel. It looks amazing there, great footage Shawn. The rides etc. are very well set out and the theming detail really makes it all come together👌
I really love Colorado Adventure because it's way more forceful than you'd expect when you look at it. Also. River Quest is the only theme park attraction I've actually been scared in. That drop feels like it shouldn't exist.
River quest is one of my favorite POV rapids and chaipas is so awesome that the sound track plays in my head thanks to you. I rewatch the vlogs you filmed on ride all the time! If I ever have a chance to visit a foreign park I would love to see this park
I put off watching this because i was there only a couple of weeks ago (thanks to you!) and I already miss it so much!! Its my new favourite park with my new favourite ride - Taron! Off to Blackpool today and will be wearing my ich bin ein klugheimer top... albeit under a few layers 😂
after watching your brilliant vlogs of this park, 2 years ago, I am finally going this half-term staying in Charles Lindbergh. thankyou for the brilliant videos and thanks for introducing me to phantasialand
So glad you went back to Phantasialand. I went there as a teenager in the 70’s! While on a school exchange trip. Suspect none of the attractions from that time have survived given the rate they replace them at this great park.
We went to Phantasialand for the first time ever yesterday and it totally exceeded my expectations! Especially FLY. Such a unique and intense overall experience. I will have to go back there one day though. I didn't go on Black Mamba (because my son is not 10 years old just yet) and River Quest was still closed. And we still haven't found the new entrance to Colorado Adventure! 🤦♂ Too bad we just missed you by a few days, but it was great to watch the vlog just one day after we went.
The upload I’ve been waiting for!! Phantasialand is my favourite park in the world. What’s not to love about this park (apart from maybe a better/more grand main entrance), this park delivers on all levels. Home to three of my top ten coasters (Black Mamba, Taron & Fly) and my two of my favourite water rides (Chiapas and River Quest).
Brilliant video ! Really enjoy your explanations, you are kinda bringing us with you on your journey it's amazing. By the way, I'm heading to Phantasialand for the first time in a few days now. I'm used to go to EP many many times, I've been to few other parks like Disney and Port Aventura. What to expect from this trip ? Do you think it's gonna be crowded or not so much? And in terms of surprises and thrills ?
We visited yesterday and I haven't been in quite a few years! How long ago did they change where the photo camera is on Chiapas? I swear it used to be on the final drop 😅
Great vlog as always, I was wondering if you were thinking of going back to Asia considering that their are many exciting new lands being added to the Disney parks such as frozen land which will be opening at Hong Kong within the next couple of weeks
The only problem with Phantasialand is the lack of space i don't know how a new coaster could ever fit in but i suppose since its small the theming can be more condensed
I visited Phantasialand this summer and i already want to get back. The theming is the absolutely the BEST IN THE WORLD and almost ALL of the rides are the best of their genre. Just Crazy Bats would be better as an Intamin multi dimensional coaster :)
Hey Shawn, i was in Phantasialand as well on Tuesday and i saw you vlogging infront of Taron but I didn’t want to come say hello because I didn’t want to interrupt you and Charlotte.
18:06 It’s a shame the fire effects are still off, I went there for the first time back in June, they were off when I went too. Hope to see them come back on, definitely adds to the experience!
Excellent video Shawn and Charlotte from Phantasialand in Germany to get back on all of our favourite rides. We experience Taron, F.L.Y, Chiapas, and many more awesome attractions along with bringing you the latest updates from across the park! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte from the road trip. 😀😎👍👍
Love seeing your videos, just watched your 2016 cadburys World Video and was wondering , now it is included in the MAP. Would you consider going back for another visit?
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Yh it is a shame that they stopped allowing it. Maybe one day if they allow it again, they could do what Energylandia does. I think that’s everything I need to say for now.
Charlotte: “Top Spin 784 looks too intense for me!”
“The queue looks fast for Inverted Coaster 26!”
"The queue for Top Spin 784 was quick!"
Nice RCT reference!

Thank you for sharing!
Looks like Phantasialand wins the chalice for themeing and total immersion, almost to an excessive degree! Can't wait to visit someday.
It’s very immersive
Been enjoying the vlogs mate, been in a rough patch lately and its a bit an escape for me watching them. Cheers
Thank you!

That wave swinger with the fountains underneath is awesome!!

We've booked tickets for opening week this year!! Super excited
If only Alton Towers was a little more like this. The theming the music the rides!!! Wow!!!!!
That would be amazing!

Another awesome video. Thank you. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😆😁😄😃😀😃😄😁😆
Thanks for joining us
Hey, I just saw you on the bridge at Bell Rock! Have fun! Traumatica tonight?
We were indeed!
This theme park is amazing!! We visited the park back in April on our European tour.
It’s a beautiful place

Loved this park, went there on the 16th of October, one of my favourite parks of all time 😁
Amazing video taron and fly look amazing phantasialand
They are awesome rides
Amazing video guys 🥰 I’m so jealous Iv never been to this amazing park. I do agree with you VR is not good on coasters,
Is there any single rider ques available on any of the rides?
There is!
Love you guys but never love the vlogs so much when you can see so little .
Unfortunately this park is very secretive!
Ah love the shout out you gave on Colorado Express, it is the best mine train coaster out there in my opinion.
Epic ride!
I would love to go there its definitely on my bucket list ❤

I found it funny when Charlotte screamed at 27:01
29:32 😂 You should get a daily drum show in the park or support the existing daily performances 😁
Make shure that you loosen the Vest Restrains a bit before the train leaves the Station. Makes it 200% more comfortable 🙂
What do you think about winjas spinnig coasters ?. One of my favorite. Taron I can’t do because I have a heart problem
We really like them!
We visited yesterday and I haven't been in quite a few years! How long ago did they change where the photo camera is on Chiapas? I swear it used to be on the final drop 😅

It’s excellent
Well the fire on Talocan seems to be missing for quite some time now. Just a few weeks before you guys went, we were missing it too :(
Hey Shawn, i was in Phantasialand as well on Tuesday and i saw you vlogging infront of Taron but I didn’t want to come say hello because I didn’t want to interrupt you and Charlotte.
Hope you had a great time!
Still no fire on Talocan? I went there in August and it had also been not working.
Sadly not, apparently it’s turned off at the moment due to gas issues
Do you normally stay in Cologne when you go here? Any reccomendedations? 😊
We usually stay on site if doing multiple days! Ramada close by is also great!
Black Mamba is easily one of the greatest rides ever built. It is WILD.
It’s amazing!
18:06 It’s a shame the fire effects are still off, I went there for the first time back in June, they were off when I went too. Hope to see them come back on, definitely adds to the experience!
They will be back next year!
Let’s hope so!
Love the videos❤
Thanks!
Oh, so we were in the park at the same time it seems!
Hope you had a fun day!
We did!
That's ride would make me feel sick !! Going on the topspin ride
Fly looks good but I cannot do fly position give me travel sickness. Happens on Alton towers fly coaster, messed me up for hours.
So funny watching you both bashing bongos to black mamba 😂😂😂😂
