For Phantasialand it has always been about the vibes of diving into some fantasy land (the founder was actually a puppet maker). So they generally try to use as authentic parts as possible in the different districts, even the plants. Eg. while building "Klugheim", the medieval-fantasy district, the whole european flower market was completely sold out of certain plants coz Phantasialand bought them all. Also the the China-Town-Hotel is the biggest historical Chinese building outside of China. Many parts had to be imported from China and over 200 Chinese craftsmen were involved in the construction.

Hey Conner love to watch your Videos And i like how you learn German also you can say "Es ist viel schöner" instead of "es ist sehr mehr wunderschön" :) greetings from Switzerland
I'm German, and in our school it's some kind of a tradition that everyone goes to Phantasialand for a day in the second year. And one of the great things about Phantasialand is that every time you get there you discover something that you haven't seen before or you see things that are entirely new. By the way, the ride called "Colorado Adventure", that you have been on in the first video, is actually the Michael Jackson roller-coaster and originally it was named after him too.
Just remember that you‘ll need two days if you visit Europa Park for the first time! That park is huge. New visitors are always completely overwhelmed by the abundance of things to do (100+ attractions). I think if you loved Phantasia Land, you‘ll love Europa Park. Yes, they are bigger and there are more visitors, but they do their best every day to still give each visitor the best experience. Especially their theming is stellar, especially the areas Greece, Swiss and Spain are themed so well. And the attractions Voletarium the flying theatre right next to the entrance, Wodan the wooden coaster and Poseidon the water coaster in Greece are well themed attractions there. And don‘t miss the ice skating show in Greece, they are always great! The most famous coasters there though are Silver Star, Wodan and Blue Fire, the three thrill coasters. Fun fact: There are 9 normal coasters + 2 water coasters + 2 powered coasters + 1 log flume.
I think the German Disneyland would be Europa park. Its actually the second most visited them park in Europe, after Disneyland, so they do compare more closely.

She's been so nervous and I tried to calm her down, telling her it's not that fast and scary. Then we went around the corner and realized it's not the roller-coaster. We still went on the ride, had a good laugh and my cousin joked that I was right, it's not that scary. We went to the actual roller-coaster with higher spirits and she loved it 😁
okay this is cool! Currently in Canada trying to find work in Germany and moving my family down. One of the things I kind of was sad about is that my daughters probably won't experience Disneyland in the states but if you say its almost the same I am more than happy with that! Thank you !
Well, Disneyland is still pretty different, because it has its characters, and I frankly do think that Disney World is the best park in the world, but you can have magical moments in Phatasialand, too, plus, there is Disneyland Paris, which will most likely closer to you, than the American Disney Parks are from Canada.
Europapark just build and opened a new Waterpark next to their normal park last November. You should check out both as well! :) Edit: Just to mention, that this is probably the most themed indoor waterpark you could find.

Neither was a gift of him to the park. As a planned publicity act Jackson did the official grand opening of Colorado Adventure, allowing the park to use his name and call it "Colorado Adventure - The Michael Jackson Trill Ride". The mine train coaster used that name for many years but around 2013, some time after Jackson's death, the park dropped the name, now only refering to it by Colorado Adventure.

Not true. He bought an old carousel from Phantasialand for his Neverland Ranch. And for the rollercoaster it was only the name and the Opening Ceremony. Where did you get the ridiculous idea of a gift?

The true German Dinsney World is the Europapark. Phantasialand's quality standard is high, but it's rather small, because there is no room to enlarge it.
Did you know that in Europapark there is a restaurant where your food Litteraly does a looping on a mini rollercoaster ride to drive to your table? The best thing. The food is delicious and it's not too expensive. There are also many more things unique and cool about the Europapark. In fact ,they are the company also known for building a lot of the best rollercoasters worldwide even outside of their own park. It's a fun for the whole family and also very magical. Though I suggest you to stay there for around 3 days or more as it's a very big theme park
Disney is a small kids resort , it does not have the attractions like Taron , fly ,Talocan, winjas , drop towers vr coaster's. If you liked here , go to Europa park next time.
14:05 "I don't know what's up and down but I know that I am not falling so I am on the right side of gravity at this point." Oh boy, these quotes are hilarious.
You made two great videos about Phantasialand. I visited Phantasialand already many times as a child, as a teen and as an adult. I love it. I'm so glad they didn't copy Disneyland and their movies. There were already enough Disneyland all over the world. Phantasialand decided to make their own thing. They wanted to be different. And that's amazing. My sister and her children visited Disneyland at Paris last January and they said, that Phatasialand is much better. It's cheaper and is has much more rollercoasters and so on. Disneyland is overhyped.
at the very beginning of phantasialand there were only shown all that fary tales exhibitions from brothers grimm and more. it was a small part of the park around a lake. And that was before disneyland was even opened
Hey Conner, you should visit more german and european amusementparks! There are lots of good ones. It's so much fun watching you explore and enjoy the park! Love it! Europa Park near Freiburg is Germanys biggest amusement park and in my opinion even better than Phantasialand. Especially in wintertime. They have thousands and thousands of christmas trees, that light up the streets at night. It's magical. It also has a huge waterpark recently. You should definetly go visit it!
14:05 "I don't know what's up and down but I know that I am not falling so I am on the right side of gravity at this point."
Oh boy, these quotes are hilarious.
1:40 Das Schlüsselwort ist hier 'noch'. Also: Abends ist es noch schöner als am Tag.
Toller Vlog! It's fun to watch. :)
Now I want to phantasialand 🥺 I went there 3 years ago and I can't wait to visit it again 🤭
Fun Fact: If you go to Phantasialand on your Birthday, you can enter for FREE! :D
at the very beginning of phantasialand there were only shown all that fary tales exhibitions from brothers grimm and more. it was a small part of the park around a lake. And that was before disneyland was even opened
In the summerseason they open a knew themeworld called Rookburgh. There will be located a flying coaster.
It will be a steampunk themeworld.
Your german gets better and better
Hey Conner, you should visit more german and european amusementparks! There are lots of good ones. It's so much fun watching you explore and enjoy the park! Love it!
Europa Park near Freiburg is Germanys biggest amusement park and in my opinion even better than Phantasialand. Especially in wintertime. They have thousands and thousands of christmas trees, that light up the streets at night. It's magical. It also has a huge waterpark recently. You should definetly go visit it! If you need a tourguide for the park, just contact me ;)
Ich finde es so gut das du auf englisch und auf deutsch gesprochen hast das macht nicht jeder . Es hat mir echt viel Spaß gemacht zuzuschauen. Weiter so 👍
Conner's mind: DISNEYLAAAAND!!! Your mind is like a freaking child. Amazing.
Phantasialand is my Home-Park. I go every weekend in the Park and it is still so cool. But you HAVE to go to Movie-Park at Bottrop in October ist so awasome, i go there at my Birthday and im every year so excited. The scary Vibe there is so incredible
Sad that you didn't find the night hawk rollercoaster it's a bit hidden and hard to find in the wutz town district. It's basicly a rollercoaster in the dark and it's more fun than it sounds. Also a good place to smoke without being noticed :D
The Night Hawk rollercoaster got VR, new decorations and a new name: Crazy Bats
And he was there in the first video.
@@Sarmari86 ohh they killed it :(
And they have the best ice cream ever! And some ppl with those historical costumes are great. And the chinese artists. And so much more :-)
Hey @connersullivan you Need to visit Tripsdrill because its the ölest German Theme Park and its just Build with love. And you can explore the Schwaben Land
greetings from germany .. part 1 and 2 are really nice viodes .. i hope you had fun
The best Thing, living in the same city as the phantasialand is ,that you can go to the phantasialand every day you want
Next time you have to go to Europa-Park. It's much bigger, more Rollercoasters. Every European country in one Themepark.... and they also have Haribo and Chocolatefruits😉 And Flammkuchen 😁
The thing that surprises me the most is how little you had to wait in line for Taron and Maus au Chocolat... Dude usually its like at least 30 minutes
AHHH!!!!!! ÜBERALL DISNEYLAND!!!!!!
Love your Videos! Thumbs up
You need to go to Europapark, its the biggest park in europe and its also in germany.
many people Recommended this park. I can't imagine how beautiful
@@natalieyuni1725 It is like a whole country. watch some trailers on RUclips, it is bigger then six flags and disney land. There are a lot of rides. There are also many diffrent cultures in this park, every country in europe is there and it shows.
1:42 instead of "sehr mehr wunderschön" you say "viel schöner" or " wirklich wunderschön".
Hope I can help.
