@@boyliker5788 Because the european and ottoman cultures are DRASTICLY different from each other to the point of clashing. Sure, some of their knowledge has been integrated other the centuries (such as the numbers that we use), but this is just the surface level of exchange that we have; not enough to work out any kind of durable blending. Plus, immigration can be positive only if we make a SELECTION of the people based on how they can contribute to our country without flipping the numbers (if i express myself correctly); mass immigration, on the other hand, would it be legal or illegal, just make the door of communautarism swing wide with people amalgamate with those they know and not trying to make the effort of accustom themselves to the laws and rules of our society. THAT is only but ONE of the reasons the natives of europe don't want more immigration.
