- On May 10, 2021 violence once again erupted between Israel and Hamas. The lopsided conflict, with up to 3 million pounds of munition dropped on Gaza, and 174,400 pound of munitions fired at Israel, resulted in the deaths of 13 Israeli and 260 Palestinians, including Ahmad al-Mansi, a father of three who in his final days was captured by both his daughters’ and brother’s vlog.

@ I mean, chicken and egg right? Like Palestinians effectively live in a prison whose walls are Israel. It's hard not to imagine that most Palestinians grow up incredibly traumatized and that Israel is a very real source of that trauma. Trauma leads to all sorts of psychological quirks, but one of them is a higher willingness to fight. Like, everyone is sort of on the side of the kid who kills his abusive father, so where's the difference in the real sense?

Every living being deserves respect and humane treatment, whether that’s a human or an animal. Whenever someone compares how much better most owners treat their pets than strangers, it doesn’t make sense to me. Not saying you’re implying this but we should never have to reduce the quality of treatment of one group, especially if it’s the bare minimum, to increase the treatment for another. They're always saying that they warn civilians before a bombing, but in the people are saying that they were bombed randomly without notice. They're slaughtering them left and right and then dusting it up by saying they "warn them beforehand". Sure, maybe they do sometimes, but how many times have they deliberately killed Palestinian civilians without warning?
Warning itself is a phone call with less than 5 minutes to leave the building+ a missile but with less destruction level than the missile the enemies call it the actual missile. This what they call a warning is applied and recorded once while the rest of thousands of bombardments happen without this so called a warning.
@stfu re-watch this vidéo. You'll see people running from thé building not understanding what's going on and saying they just woke up from the sound of the missile. They are escaping and there's a hole and dust in the building. That's the warning missile. The actual missiles would vanish the whole building with the whole family. Many families completely disappeared this way.
@stfu 🤷 imagine if there's more than one elderly (your grandparents or your neighbors) in the building , they're heavy , they can't walk +you're in panic and barely can walk on your legs and you have kids , some of them sleeping or hiding and you don't know how this will end , if you'll have to run to another country to save your life ,so you think what legal papers or money you should carry. What if you were at the toilet. All these things has to be done in minutes.and that's only when they give you warning. Just imagine the rest stories without warnings.

Not to mention the fact that 10-20% of those rockets landed inside their own territory and killed/wounded Palestinians children, by their own weapons...
The FACT is that Israel takes THE MOST precautionary measures to ensure a lack of civilian casualties. That FACT, was stated by Britain's delegate to the UN who was a top tier general (whatever the British equivalent is) and backed by numbers as well.
That FACT, that Israel does more to save civilians is evident in the fact their civilian to terrorist kill ratio is one of the lowest on Earth and during this last war was lower than any major (or minor) battle/engagement/war fought in the last few decades. The numbers are available online for anyone who cares to read.
So when people say Israel targets civilians (not sure if you were saying that in ur answer but it's been said often), there is a reason those journalists trusted Israel enough to film the bombings from buildings literally across the street. They warn civilians to move, and they attack rocket launch sites and other strategic areas. Heck they even treat wounded Palestinians in Israeli hospitals!!! I'd like for anyone to find a report of an Israeli treated inside a Palestinian Hospital... Even Abbas, leader of the PA/Palestinians was treated inside an Israeli hospital.

The article was all about how Vice never added that FACT, even after publishing this video, that he was a terrorist. If Israel didn't bother itself to evict those Palestinian, Hamas won't be attacking and Israel doesn't have to suffer worsen reputation as the result of their counter-attack on the heavily populated areas in Gaza.

The tower had a one hour warning. Hamas is proud of its tunnel network, which no doubt includes bunkers for Hamas members.

@@jonlenihan4798 Yea, I like how they try pointing out that the Hamas rockets were either stopped by the Iron Dome, or fell short. But not going to point out that if perhaps the rockets stopped, then in all likelihood the bombings would stop. Israel certainly couldn't justify bombing those civilian buildings then, not without facing backlash for it. Haven't heard any Palestinians yet yell for Hamas to stop placing them in harm's way, to go out and fight like real men.

It's always some Middle East nation determined to mess with Israel, then whine about Israel's response to the world when they prod the bear. It's no secret that Israel hits back hard. Pretty basic response to schoolyard bullies to me, you punch back hard enough, the bully learns to back off. I only see a very slow learning curve from the Middle East, a nice way of not saying stupid.
It also amazes me the nation that Israel has developed from nothing, when all of their neighbors continue to live in historic squalor. The Middle East can stop this now, and learn to reap from the "peace dividend".
Watching this video in work was a wrong move I had to get some air that was horrific. I hope Hala her family and everybody in Gaza will be okay they have my support.

Israel has the defensive capabilities to stop most rockets from hitting civilian targets, and they also have the offensive capabilities to destroy the places where the missiles come from. Yes, the offensive came at a terrible cost to life in Gaza, but what else should Israel have done when hundreds of rockets were raining down on its citizens? Just let it happen? Would you feel safe if your country sat by and took missile fire? Keep in mind that Hamas operates out of civilian targets: schools, mosques, hospitals. Hamas sacrifices Palestinians knowing that Israel can and must fire back.
