My aunt and I watched this, and we eventually just started creating our own narrative. Our version of the movie ended with Blue calling on his Pterodactyl sidekick to come pick him up so they could fly away to fight crime together, while the T-Rex left the island to become an accountant at a law firm.

Well, on the same scene the lady boss says something like "people died there, show some respect" so I think it's safe to assume what happened there isn't such a big secret. Also it's still the same company that owns this park too.

I think that line is more about the writers of this movie giving props to the creators of the first movie.

I just watched this movie for the first time, didn't seem to have the time until now. Amazing how after failing with the parks three times before, they double down on the idea and create even deadlier, smarter and tougher species and assume this time nothing will go wrong.
Love how Chris Pratt says the I-Rex was raised by itself so it was antisocial, then it immediately talks to the raptors for the first time and becomes their alpha lol.

It was never really intended for public display....Ingen’s real sneaky plan was to make smaller versions of it to train as weapons like they tried to use the raptors. It’s all in there, just not very well explained.

The guys who do these trailers are hilarious. Especially the guy narrating this one. I actually cried with laughter during this one. Laugh at all but first one to make me shed tears haha.

Fun fact. That's the exact same T. rex as the first one. You can even see the scars from the raptors in the first movie where they attacked it. And if you remember, that T. rex nearly caught up with a car going 40 mph.

There is usually a karmic component in these movies when it comes to who gets killed. The assistant was nice to the kids. The bitch who kept referring to animals as assets should have been killed.
***** Who cares? It's a movie about dinosaurs going apeshit. It doesn't need to be smart. I mean, if someone likes a smart movie that thinks racionally about the things happening on screen then this kind of movie is not for them. That's why people dislike this movie. They're expecting something smart, without plot holes, extremely accurate.
The first movie is exactly the same bullshit, with the exception of having fun, loving characters which this movie lacks.
I think it was to show that no one's safe. That even reasonably nice people (like Arnold from the original) die. I think that's fine...
...except she was waving a death flag the moment she appeared on screen. They should have killed Owen if they wanted that effect. No one would have seen that coming.

Um... why is everyone suddenly hating Jurassic World? When it first came out in June, everyone loved it like their old childhood friend finally came back after over 20 years. Now, four months later, the opinions are more polarizing. Was it because of how much money it made? Is it because of the Frozen effect, in which something is so popular, hipsters begin to hate in order to stand out?
If that's the case, I'm going to be six months ahead of the curve and say that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a really bad movie, and that J.J. Abrams deserves to die in hell. If this is what happens in six months, I'll just laugh, knowing I was right all along.
P.S. If you're reading this, Screen Junkies, I want you to do Inside Out. It's my favorite movie of the year.

Chris Pratt and the security guys go into the big fuckers cage because the thermal cameras didnt detect the dinosaur, so they assume theres no dinosaur in there...A Thermal camera wouldnt detect ANY dinosaur, or any reptile at all, they are *COLD BLOODED* ffs!!!
Actually, that depends on the dinosaur. Most theropod dinosaurs, including raptors, were warm-blooded. It was mostly the herbivores that were cold-blooded.

They are said to be warm blooded, mostly related to the bird. Read Jurassic Park
Even the herbivores were more warm blooded so yes the thermal detectors would definitely work. Even in the first one Alan points out how Brachiosaurus was warm blooded.
Dinosaurs were mammal, reptile, bird hybrid. They had scaly skin like reptiles, laid eggs like reptiles and birds, were warm blooded like mammals and birds, and some had feathers. Of course these are just theories but they are quite reasonable.

Jurassic World spit on the first Jurassic Park. At the end of Jurassic Park, a banner falls in front of the T-rex that says, "Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth." In Jurassic World the two boys find the banner, wrap it around one of the broken bones, light it on fire, and use it as a torch that they don't really need.
