The glasses you wear in the start of the video are very nice
Fun! Love the cats eyes ones. You have such a great face for interesting frames. And great taste!
I get mine from zeelool too. I think there’s usually a promotion where if you tag them in your pics you get a discount, in case you don’t know.
Thank you! Oh I didn't know that yet!
Wow, really cool glasses! They all look great on you! Do you need to wear glasses all the time?
Thank you! Yes I do, I'm nearsighted 😊
@@SpoonCass I'm nearsighted too! 😄 How long have you been wearing glasses? 😊
@Kovacs Bela since I was 6 so about 22 years now 😅
@@SpoonCass Wow, that's pretty much your whole life. 😄I'm only at 11 years, I first got glasses when I was 14. Did your eyesight get really bad over these years? 😅
@@ethansmith62956How’s your sight a year later?
Having been an optician, now retired I was wondering where you were getting your glasses from. Now I know. I can easily see that your what we refer to as being farsighted and in the UK it's called longsighted. You have apparently started wearing your glasses all the time so I assume you now need for distance as well as close up. You have probably ruined your distance vision by wearing your glasses all the time. I'm assuming when you first got glasses they were really only meant for reading and your distance eyesight was perfect without glasses. What the doctor should have prescribed you was progressives. If you don't know what they are I will explain. Those are glasses that actually has three prescriptions in the lenses. So the upper portion wouldn't have any prescription for your distance and then a mid area would be for things a short distance away from your eyes that a slight prescription might be of some help and then the lower section would be for reading and seeing other things close up. That would have kept your distance eyesight perfect but still allowed you to wear your glasses all the time. Do you mind me asking you what your prescription is? In looking at and through your glasses I'm thinking your in the +2.25 to +3.00 area. You asked what we think and we think you look really cute wearing all of your glasses. I love all of your choices and that each pair is so unique.
I was the manager of a rather large upscale optical boutique So we intentionally only hired very attractive young ladies to work in our store. Some did wear glasses but quite few didn't . Not only wear they hired as receptionists, frame stylists, optical assistants and opticians but they were also hired to model the frames we sold as well. So When they were hired they were told that they would be required to wear glasses during their working hours. They were going to be provided with an eye exam and free glasses every 6 months. The ones that already wore glasses were fine with this even if they weren't fulltime glasses wearers normally. The ones that claimed to have perfect vision agreed to the terms they made aware of. This seemed fine to them at first and the doctor would only write in their file that they only needed non-prescription glasses. But after picking out their glasses some were fine wearing glasses all day for the first time, but several complained about being forced to wear glasses, even without a prescription, if they didn't need glasses. After a few conversations with those young ladies they understood that if they continued complaining they would be let go and they stopped complaining except for one that decided to quit. Now the eye exams the girls got surprised a couple of them that were sure their eyes were perfect. They were surprised to find out their eyes weren't quite as perfect as they thought. They were both a little nearsighted, or what you know to be shortsighted. Neither of them had any complaints about needing to wear glasses and they very quickly adjusted to their new glasses. One of them only planned on wearing her glasses at work. So at the end of her shift she took them off and put them in he personal drawer and drove home. She did that for two days and on the third day she left work wearing her glasses and when she came into work the next morning she was already wearing her glasses. I commented to her that I noticed she was wearing her glasses and she smiled and it was because she was now blind. She said she was surprised that she wasn't able to read road signs vey well at all anymore and she was afraid she might run over someone's dog as a result.
That's not actually the case 😅 I've been wearing glasses since I was six, always needed to wear them to be able to see far away afaik 🤷♀️ tho my current prescription is +1.75 on both eyes with a -2.00 cylinder on one and a -2.25 cylinder on the other
