- Hi friends! I'm finally getting a new pair of eyeglasses. I have really bad eye sight and my older Tiffany pair was terribly scratched up so It was giving me massive headaches. So I went to my local eyewear store to pick up a new pair. I'm not the best at choosing flattering frames but I try my best !

Here i am 9 zeelools lol vooglam all prescription 12 12 pair is coming lol and one Zenni optical lol 🤣 online all the way i always get oversized i love them boring simple isnt me lol i have so many to pick from daily i just ordered two bags to hold all my glasses in the bedroom and bathroom 😂

So how long were you going without wearing glasses? I assume your eyesight isn't nearly as bad as you claim it is or you wouldn't have been able to go without them very long at all. That's not to say you don't need to be wearing glasses because I'm sure you do or you wouldn't have been prescribed glasses. You're most likely nearsighted since that's most common for someone your age to be. Being a retired optician I'm sure the reason your glasses got so scratched up was because you only wear glasses when you feel a need for them. So when you don't need them they are in your purse without being in a glasses case. Unprotected glasses then get scratched rubbing against other items in your purse such as keys and other sharp objects. Also something few people are aware of is simply cleaning your glasses will result in tiny scratches if you used things like a tissue, toilet paper. paper towels and anything else made from paper. Paper is made from wood and it's the fine pieces of wood in paper that scratches lenses of glasses.
You're right your first Tiffany glasses were in fact slightly too big for your face size. But your new glasses really do seem to be a perfect fit on you and I fitted many hundreds of young women with their glasses. So I do consider myself as a bit of an expert when it comes to fitting glasses. Yes they have a bit of "cat-eye" shape to them. So I was rather surprised in not seeing you wearing your new glasses in any of your recent videos. Now to be honest I didn't watch any of them throughout just mostly the video caps. One really good way of preventing scratches on your lenses is by wearing your glasses more often. Glasses don't usually get scratched when they are on your face in front of your eyes. Even though you don't have a string prescription doesn't mean you can't wear your glasses more often or even fulltime. Wearing your glasses fulltime won't in anyway do any harm to your eyes or cause your eyesight to worsen. Your eyesight is more likely to worsen by not wearing your glasses as often as you need to be. .
Yeah me I can't I'm a -4.00 and -3.50 and mphoia astigmatism in both so lol only time I don't is laying in bed at times but always have a pair near me just in case lol 😂
