Bern Nadette Stanis (Thelma); should be on this list. Mad Dog, the street gang leader asked "Who's the Fox" ?, meant just that. I Had a crush on "Thelma" growing up. Nobody could match the Queen Actress Cicely Tyson. Lola was just sexy as all outdoors, indoors, down the street, etc etc. LOL 😮 Pam Grier had the kind of talent that a Director had to just hear her name mentioned, and the Lead/Supporting role was usually hers, without auditioning for the part. Films like Blacula, Shaft (original version), Black Belt Jones, Buck & the Preacher, etc etc; were the inspirations for a lot of Black Actresses & Actors in the 70s. A lot of these Women are older than me by at least 15 to 20 years but, @ their current ages, they still have timeless Beauty/Elegance & Class of a Naturally Beautiful Black Woman, no fake nails, hair, butt, etc etc; like Black Women of the 2000s; hard to know who/what is real now.😢

I will always remember Denise Nicholas from Room 222 wishing my guidance counselor could be as beautiful and lovely as Denise !! Rosalind Cash was also in The New Centurions with Stacy Keach and George C Scott vCash plays a nurse who befriended Cop Stacy Keach who is wounded and brought into her Hospital. A beautiful romance and friendship blossoms between Rosalind and Stacy’s characters. Erik Estrada yes Erik Estrada co- stars.
