Hello my dear! Pierce, oil, and salt the potato. Bake at 400 for one hour on a rack. I use a small 1/4 tray with a rack. Sweet or russet. Do not wrap in foil. Enjoy :)
For baked potatoes id recommend putting the potatoes in the microwave for like 6-10 min depending on the size, then popping them in oven for it to crisp up! Only way I make them or it takes like a hour or more lol
@@TheCarolinaLifestyle a non microwave technique is cutting the baked potato in half or quarters if it’s really big, lay the cut side down on the parchment paper, and bake! It bakes up just like a normal baked sweet potato and much quicker especially if you are going to eat it the way you dressed yours it’s a great way to cook!

you may have addressed this before but how many calories do you shoot for. I am trying to lose weight but also keep my protein intake up. How many calories do you typically burn / ingest? (Idk if there is a more elegant way to ask that LOL) but if you feel comfortable sharing I would love to know!
I wish I could be more helpful here but I’m actually not in a weight loss moment - I also don’t count calories because it tends to affect my mindset negatively and does not help me with food freedom (which is a big focus for me since I struggled with a not-so-great relationship with food before) I just focus on quality of ingredients and making sure I stay active, eat healthy and balanced as much as I can without restricting, and hitting protein goals (esp because I’m lifting weights as part of my routine!) - this is all super bioindividual so would recommend testing things out and figuring out what makes you feel your best + working with a nutritionist can always be helpful too! Hope this helps in some way ❤️

The lactose free one I use is actually 2%! I agree it tastes a lot better!! But because I usually add nut butters and granola I feel like I get some healthy fats in that way 😘

That’s what I struggle with. Trying to up the protein but it’s hard to also be in calorie deficit.
Take your ideal body weight and multiply by 12 to give you an idea of what your calories should be.

You should try a Greek yogurt with at least 2% or 5% fat. The 0% one doesn’t taste nearly as good, besides some fat is good for your cycle
