Not much to complain about here. An excellent phone offering solid value. Competes well with lower-priced models like the Pixel 7 and exceptionally well with more expensive phones like the S23+. Hard to come up with a better alternative at £799 (16GB/256GB) for the OP11. The Pixel 7P is £150 more for 256GB and has less RAM.

I think it looks like a decent phone from oneplus , this is the first time I mostly reading and watching reviews where the camera is not getting slated, I am also liking that it will be getting security and other updates for up to 5years. I think Samsung and iPhone are taking the Mick with their prices for their top phones and I think this is a good price without to much compromise
I am actually planning to buy one this month. The price and what it has to offer is amazing! Samsung and Apple are literally priced way too high and honestly for a daily user, those extra things don't matter much
10 Day Review: First time with a OnePlus phone. Decided to take the plunge as I like tech and wanted to put the new Snapdragon through it's paces. I was slightly concerned about general grumblings about the quality of OxygenOS (Color?!) but felt I could get to grips with any idiosyncrasies. I am happy with the build quality and very impressed with the display. Small note, the wallpaper choices are limited and uninspiring to show off what the screen can do. For 800+ euro I feel OnePlus didn't make a great effort. Ok, I could download my own etc but to be honest I don't have the time or inclination. Sound is also very good without any great bass but that's ok. Fast charging is great. The curved screen edges are nice visually but I personally find a regular screen with more defined, sharper edges more precise to use at the extremities. Disappointed with OnePlus that they didn't provide at least the initial European shipments with a basic case to get customers up and running, especially as there were few 3rd party cases with reviews online. And the OnePlus store helpfully was out of stock for cases! Got one from Amazon and it was no use as it interfered with calls as the proximity sensor was partially covered, so that was a pain given my green version of the phone is quite slippery so I'd recommend a case. A delayed, frustrating start. Performance / speed is very good but if you're coming from something reasonably decent you may not notice any enormous difference in day to day use. However, it doesn't blow me away - e.g. desktop screen transitions are fine and actually less snappy than my previous Xiaomi. Pinch to zoom for downloaded PDFs also take a moment to re-focus which is surprising. Not big issues and I'm confident the hardware will be up to the job in the longer term with os updates. The setup was not a great experience with a number of unexpected glitches e.g. RUclips out of the box took quite a bit of time to get right and required an reinstall without updates to get it behaving correctly. The Oxygen OS itself I don't find behaves well. For example, I have folders set up on my phone desktop containing shortcut links to pages for news sites. When I open a link in the folder to one of the pages and back arrow to return to the folder I'm actually returned to the main screen rather than the launch folder. So I then need to reopen my news folder over and over. This isn't normal navigation behavior on any os I've used be it windows, Android or iOS. Another more serious issue is the alarms are totally unreliable. Some days they work. Some days they don't. I've tried the usual in terms of turning them on and off and deleting and resetting but it's still happening. To be honest, these are basic hygiene issues for an operating system and there seems to have been some shortcuts taken on testing. I'm guessing priority was given to getting the device out quickly in the Snapdragon 2 race. Overall, I'm happy enough with the phone but not sure I'd go with OnePlus again. Attention to detail should be far better at this price point.
It's a shame they don't use the old style Oxygen OS these days, probably the biggest reason I jumped from OnePlus (as well as not having any compelling devices since the 8T).
The OS is still better than any alternative though. My friend bought Pixel 7 Pro and been having OS glitches all the time, which is similar to my experience with pixel few years back. I got Samsung S22 ultra last year and sold it after 3 months of use and bought a OnePlus 9pro at discount. The delay and the battery management on Samsung is unbearable, not sure how so many people can recommend it. 9pro was 1/3 of it's price and still out-perform it. Now I have the option to trade the 9pro for the 11 but since it's been working so well, I don't know if I should.
@@manu4ever249 I went form a Oneplus 7 Pro to an S22 Ultra, it took me so long to buy something new because the phone was both good and there was nothing worth replacing it with. I despise the Samsung software with every fiber of my being though. The reason I'm commenting though is that I've had great battery life with it and no noticeable delay. Its the lack of proper dual sim support when using e-sim and nano-sims combined with the thousand other downgrades or bizarre hurdles that you don't find with OOS or lineageOS that kill me. The hardware has been fine, the lack of desirable ROMS and the e-fuse situation just pour salt in the wound.
still rocking my OnePlus 8. I think I'm guna upgrade to 11. this phone looks beautiful and powerful enough for my daily normal use. not that my 8 is any slouch either, it is a great phone too. zero problems so far. I don't need wireless charging because it means putting the phone down anyway. unless they develop the technology to charge phones via air, I don't think lack of wireless charging should be a deal breaker.
Currently I have the Pixel 7 Pro - and I have lots of problems with it, including the annoying overheating problem that makes the screen green-flickering every time the phone gets over 36*C and is happen pretty often with normal usage and very quick when gaming. I'm planning to have the Pixel 7 Pro sold and get this OnePlus 11 instead. Google support doesn't seem to be helpful in any ways and I feel going in circles with them every time I request to have the Pixel 7 Pro fixed. Replacing the screen by Google Service specialist seem to solve the problem temporarily at a bigger cost - zero waterproofing. If you consider getting the 7 Pro instead of this, just search over the internet how many complains are about the screen flickering issue!! You'll be surprised!
I did got the 11 256 Gb. All good all around, very slim design, battery is sometimes up to 2 days. What doesn't work well is the login pattern which can't be hidden, everyone around you can see the connected dots. It's good that fingerprint is fast! I like it!

Losing the alert slider, dual sim and OxygenOS were the things that finally drove me away from OnePlus. I made the mistake of trying a Samsung and found their software to be a mess. If the OP11 had real OOS and wireless charging it would be a no-brainer to drop the Samsung. If the OP11 comes with everything except OOS and wireless charging but allows you to flash custom roms without eh hassles of Samsung then it might still be worth a try.
@@chiranjibisahoo5408 Not anymore. Newer OnePlus phones don't have a publicly available MSM tool so custom rom development has halted. Look at how many custom roms are supported by the 10 Pro compared to 9 pro or 8 pro
@@chiranjibisahoo5408 I used OnePlus form the 1, 2 3, 5T & 7Pro but the 9 & 10 series really started to kill it for me. Even on OP7P OOS was starting to go off the rails. It is still my backup but the last update to that phone lost functionality and generally made it worse than before the update. Losing alert sliders, dual sim and lobotomizing OOS took away most of the appeal for me. It only looks good when compared to the Samsung I'm using now... Wireless charging isnt quite a gimmick but it certainly isn't the last word people pretend that it is. It works well for some people but I'd still rather have wired fast charging. As far as the new OOS goes if it is anytime like the last OP7P update or whats running on the 10 series phones then it still goes in the negative column. The only plus is that you aren't punished for changing ROMS like with Samsung.
I find that some of the other more 'popular' reviewers tend to have a bias against OP. I'm guessing because the other companies pay them more, because I often see them criticize OP for something but then compliment the other popular brands, yet the OP does it better or has better specs. I find that the reviewers that actually give the phone a proper daily driver try, or actual customers who actually use the phones as their main phone give more realistic reviews.
The oneplus 11 is really tempting for me I am waiting to see the price of the 12 and reviews of it before I jump into this one But yeah, I really love the look, it's amazing charging speed, and performance for its price
Was thinking of waiting for OnePlus 11 but went with realme gt 2 pro. Feel a bit gutted but not too much. Gt2 pro is still a very solid phone but I always liked OnePlus... Except 10t cuz that phone was trashhhh
@@djwarren5081 I traded in my Pixel 7 Pro for the OP11 and do not regret it one single bit. I am not too fussed about cameras (although OP cameras are very good). I never use wireless charging and in 15 years never dropped my phone in water, so the IP rating does not bother me. I have got to 1 day and a few hours on battery with 7/8 hours on screen time. That is insane! I think OP is well and truly back. It feels like I have upgraded from my OP 5. Feels the same but much more powerful and user friendly.
Pretty good...but, why they chose such a dull screen for this supposed flagship is beyond me? Also, what about the durability. Last year's model broke like a biscuit...🍪
Help pls! Took delivery of my Oneplus 11. Big problem, unable to answer any incoming calls - the screen remains completely black. When I remove the TPU case I purchased then the problem does not happen. The case is good quality and all cut outs etc are accurate and not impeding any sensors. The case is not squeezing any buttons. Double tap to wake the screen also only functions if the case is removed. Very strange. I’m guessing it’s related to the curved edge screen profile.
They do in house tests. Peak brightness of 1300 nits is what OnePlus claims, but it only applies when a very small portion of the screen is bright. If the majority of the screen has a light background the screen doesn't even come close to 1300 nits. Do your god-damn research before you accuse someone else of not doing it.
I really appreciate a nice display and this is pretty much the best you can get today, 525ppi, LTPO3, 10 bit colour depth, but man, the selfie camera is really holding it back.
Seems like oneplus still didnt fix the 120hz ltpo problems on apps like youtube instagram etc ... lol still ltpo isnt working properly and it lags ... sad because i was interested .. but they never fixed it and never will ... well samsung its gonna be again ..
$550-$600 would have been the right price for this OnePlus 11. 850€ in Europe 😵💫 No wireless charging, no iP certification, USB-C 2.0 in 2023 when the OnePlus 7 had USB-C 3.0, a ×2 zoom that does not work in video, FHD 30 selfie camera not stabilized... Unless it comes with earbuds or other gifts, as much as I don't like the Pixel 7s, it will be difficult for the OnePlus 11 on the Western market, especially since in addition this year the Galaxy S23s have the 8 Gen 2 everywhere, and thanks to Samsung's promotions and offers the S23s actually come back to customers at $200-$300 cheaper than their official price, without even mentioning the offers of the communication houses (AT&T, Verizon, Orange...) in collaboration with Samsung. And I haven't even mentioned Apple yet with its iPhone 13s which are almost iPhone 14s and have dropped in price. And on the Asian market and especially in India, there are brands like Motorola with its much better equipped and cheaper Edge 40.
Iphone pro max and samsung s23 ultra prices are almost double of this phone in europe so anyways it's a amazing deal, nobody uses google phones they are boring ah
@@JJ-ct4eu The problem is that in reality, contrary to what many do not understand or pretend not to understand, this OnePlus 11 is more in competition with the iPhones 13/13 Pro, Pixels 7/7 Pro, S23 Plus, than with iPhones 14 Pro/Max and S3 Ultra 🤷🏽♂️
@@rolins3279 The problem arises when the 14 pro max or the S23 ultra are only a small percentage better than this oneplus, but whatever keep praising them for their amazing phone at unrealistic prices in times where the economy is going to tank even further.
Not to be snarky but, the screen gets up to 1300 nits of brightness. In addition, I'm trying to figure out why the alert slider being present is such a big deal. They only deleted it on the 10T to make room for the battery technology. In fact, it was present on the 10 Pro. To hear some people tell the tale, you think that the alert slider was a soldier that had been am IA for several years and after a treacherous journey made his way home to the loving bosom of his family.🤣 I've been using my 11 for about a month now here in the US and I think it's the best phone OnePlus is ever made. For $700.. I prefer getting Xiaomi 13.. it's got 3x telephoto + better screen panel + Wireless charging + slightly better OS + thinner
Overall.. it's better buy compared to Samsung S23+.. which have slightly better specs bot for like $1000 ($1200 with Tax)
Xiaomi 13 has a smaller screen and OnePlus has bigger better brighter screen
Pls review the Vivo X90 pro plus
I have one plus 9 pro and it's beast I will go for one plus 12
Great vid, as always!
It was weird looking at first leak. But it is good looking phone when they released it officially
Most ugly design
@@chitrarth yes you are.
You saying no waterproofing however your site mentions it as ip64
Why it doesn’t play hdr on youtube
Losing the alert slider, dual sim and OxygenOS were the things that finally drove me away from OnePlus. I made the mistake of trying a Samsung and found their software to be a mess. If the OP11 had real OOS and wireless charging it would be a no-brainer to drop the Samsung. If the OP11 comes with everything except OOS and wireless charging but allows you to flash custom roms without eh hassles of Samsung then it might still be worth a try.
op always custom rom freindly..Unlock boot loader..custom recovery..Voila.
Wireless charging is gimmick..New oxygen os is also far better than any of its competator🤣...Dont just hate without giving a try
OP11 includes the alert slider and dual sim
I was about to buy this...then news 12 is gona be announced in December..dang it
Please drop a review for OnePlus 12
is it possible to make a video on OnePlus Ace 2 please. Thank you
This review was such a polarizing contrast to the review by LTT. Seems like maybe they got a dud model?
I find that some of the other more 'popular' reviewers tend to have a bias against OP. I'm guessing because the other companies pay them more, because I often see them criticize OP for something but then compliment the other popular brands, yet the OP does it better or has better specs. I find that the reviewers that actually give the phone a proper daily driver try, or actual customers who actually use the phones as their main phone give more realistic reviews.
Why do still not review galaxy s23 ultra
What's better? Oneplus11 or Xiaomi 12t pro?
OnePlus 11 far way better than 12t pro
Its now from 800 euro to 500 should i buy this or will this phone drop more when op12 comes out or should i buy xiaomi 13t pro for 170 euros more
I don't think that 13t pro is worth to overpay
@@borshisme yeah probably, the specs are just a bit better. Brightness, camera, ip rating, RAM, storage. But i bought the 11
@@Niick_18 it would be okay if the price difference was around 70 euros... I think so
What happened to that thumb?
The oneplus 11 is really tempting for me
I am waiting to see the price of the 12 and reviews of it before I jump into this one
But yeah, I really love the look, it's amazing charging speed, and performance for its price
does it work with genshin impact on youtube, high quality?
What's the name of the app to check how it dials down the refresh rate? Or is it a phone setting
It's a phone setting
Enable developer options
Search for "show refresh rate" option
fps counter i guess

Was thinking of waiting for OnePlus 11 but went with realme gt 2 pro. Feel a bit gutted but not too much. Gt2 pro is still a very solid phone but I always liked OnePlus... Except 10t cuz that phone was trashhhh
I just ordered one here in the UK to replace my Oneplus 8t. Sorted!
8T was a terrible phone. It lasted me a year before I switched to Pixel. The OnePlus 5 lasted me 3 years though. I'm tempted by the OnePlus 11 though!
I did the same. In my experience 8t was a great phone too except the camera. I used it for two and a half years.
@@ttube111 I've had my 11 since the launch date and am really pleased with it.
Do you even talk to OnePlus technical support?!
Their products sales keep getting lower year by year. Their just bragged speed and speed in their new flagship products.
That's not true... they literally announced their sales at the event...
1300 nites and ip64, please do your research first, thanks
This mixed bread guy don't do research 😂
They do in house tests. Peak brightness of 1300 nits is what OnePlus claims, but it only applies when a very small portion of the screen is bright. If the majority of the screen has a light background the screen doesn't even come close to 1300 nits.
Do your god-damn research before you accuse someone else of not doing it.
What about the OnePlus 11R
Samsung glaxy s23 ultra or one plus 11?confused
S23 Ultra is definitely better but more expensive
Where is the throttling test? ☹
Hello Bro, Name of the Basketball Game Application that you are playing?
Which one’s better between iqoo 11 and oneplus 11. Please compare
this is better than video the review genshin with one plus on youtube 😂
Why does this video have so few views..?? 🙎
I really appreciate a nice display and this is pretty much the best you can get today, 525ppi, LTPO3, 10 bit colour depth, but man, the selfie camera is really holding it back.
Region locked???
Migrated from OnePlus 7 to POCO X4 GT. Apart from the adverts inside POCO Apps, I prefer POCO
what nba is that?
Awaiting for Honor Magic 5 Pro review
why oneplus not giving customers ir blasters,sd card, jack and better software
i wonder why so many android phone cant shoot 4k (at 30 or 60) even though back camera can
Seems like oneplus still didnt fix the 120hz ltpo problems on apps like youtube instagram etc ... lol still ltpo isnt working properly and it lags ... sad because i was interested .. but they never fixed it and never will ... well samsung its gonna be again ..
$550-$600 would have been the right price for this OnePlus 11.
850€ in Europe 😵💫
No wireless charging, no iP certification, USB-C 2.0 in 2023 when the OnePlus 7 had USB-C 3.0, a ×2 zoom that does not work in video, FHD 30 selfie camera not stabilized...
And on the Asian market and especially in India, there are brands like Motorola with its much better equipped and cheaper Edge 40.
true, at that price the pixel 7 pro is the more complete flagship
Could you please also review OnePlus 11R
I understand they are going for a broader audience, but that android interface is such a deal breaker for me.
Does the Oneplus 11 support esim in India?
Not to be snarky but, the screen gets up to 1300 nits of brightness. In addition, I'm trying to figure out why the alert slider being present is such a big deal. They only deleted it on the 10T to make room for the battery technology. In fact, it was present on the 10 Pro. To hear some people tell the tale, you think that the alert slider was a soldier that had been am IA for several years and after a treacherous journey made his way home to the loving bosom of his family.🤣
I've been using my 11 for about a month now here in the US and I think it's the best phone OnePlus is ever made. It is nice to see the company getting back to their roots and building real flagship Killers again.
because no other android has a slider? :)
Ultra Wide is not 12mp but 48
It has an official IP 64 rating ..
Seems like it does in some markets, and not in others
that's a weird ass rating. it's like... sweat resistant? that's for earbuds lmao

Ehhh, most people don't like curved screens, when they know the drawbacks. They are much more breakable, and yet harder to replace, and more expensive to replace.
@@Dtyler171 i have dropped my oneplus 7 pro multiple times and using it for almost 4 years now without even having a dent that is visible.
One plus curved displays are not easy to break brother i can assure you that.
the miss-touches with palm on the sides are very annoying on my 8pro, even with case. you are right :/
