..i’ve been thinking about it for a little while now and i just signed up for Ritual!!🎉 the multivitamin and the gut health one too!!! 🫠 time to start taking care of me again 😛
I can’t figure out how to include a plant emoji! I usually watch RUclips on my TV (much easier for these old eyes!) , and haven’t learned how to use my new phone yet!
I like hearing the puppies tap around :) feels like I'm having a convo with a friend at their house! Plus Candice is so sweet and cute, I could never be mad at that adorable dementia baby ❤❤
I switched to plastic poles and not going back! They look nicer, they are so fast & easy to make, they stay moist and you can use grafting tape around the nodes and they almost immediately root in! I’m even switching out some of my wire poles if the plant isn’t too rooted in yet.
You are my inspiration and the reason I started collecting interesting houseplants like philodendron!!! Also when you said it’s a beautiful sunny day for you I literally laughed because it’s pouring rain for me 😂♥️ much love fern 🍀
Awesome video with so many great moments ✨ Gigas pole zoom in had me 😬 Sodiroi had me relating hard. Mine is leggy and annoying af, guess that’s why mine was an aff 😂 Bout to boot it for a Majestic. Fern in the spag 👀 Rough morning and this made my day, TY Fern! 🙏
Making your own plastic backed moss poles might be worth a try. This way you get the stability of the wire mesh ones and the water retention of the Rousseau Moss Poles. I also like to put a metal garden stake inside the Rousseau Moss poles for som extra stability.
Love Philos! I've gotta get that sp Colombia one day. Sorry to hear the wire poles have been giving you a rough time. I'm using wire poles since I like how they have more surface area for multiple vines and that they're strong and cheap. I put a plastic sheet in the back of my wire poles so they retain moisture as long as a plastic one. Also, if a plant hasn't grown up the pole yet I wrap that part in plastic too; as the plant grows up the pole I move the plastic up. Good luck!
Yesss I was thinking the same for your Gigas and the pedestal pot....perfect match indeed! It looks gorgeous with the complimenting colours 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 It was satisfying watching your chores list being crossed off one by one and now I am feeling like starting my list right away, oh but wait....it's 10.30 pm right now. Maybe I'll wait till tomorrow 😛😉 Looking forward to seeing updates on your Gigas and Sodiroi 💪🐶
🪷🌱🌿 love your videos! They are always so relaxing. Now I want some more philodendron. I started watching while doing some outdoor seedlings and love when we garden together.
I love that you’ve utilized the second level of windows! Having those are sooo lucky.! I think you could totally add more planty real estate by hanging curtain rods from the ceiling, kind of like Jungle Haven!! ❤❤
So in love with your videos Fern!🌿I’ve learned so much about plants and their process. I hope you consider doing a video on acclimating your plants. And if you don’t acclimate your plants, why not? Is that an old wives tale when it comes to grow lights and mini ikea greenhouses? 🍃
🪴I saved this video all day for my after work wind-down time, and I'm so glad I did! Perfect vibes, although I was SO NERVOUS when you were fiddling with the glorious extension!! lol but of course it went flawlessly. I'm massively jealous (in a very non-snarky way) of your collection, but hopefully with time mine will be as impressive! I think all of your philodendron look great with their upgrades 💚 Thanks for working so hard to put out quality content, Fern 🌱💚
Loved the video and loved your happy positive energy🥰 I’m so glad it was such a good day for you!🌿🪴🌵☘️ Cadence is so precious!💜 she just wanted to see what was going on outside. Too cute!😂🥰
My philos are thrip magnets (and my monsteras) and I'm going crazy 😭😭😭 I refuse to use pesticides, and it's too dry in Nova Scotia during the winter for beneficial bugs, since the humidity rarely goes over 40% for multiple months 😢 I can't wait until spring and higher humidity when it goes back to 55% at the lowest & usually around 65% or higher ❤😅 We're so close!!! 🤩🤩
my philos also went through a really bad time with thrips but trust me queen there is a light at the end of the tunnel🪴🌞☮️ (also idk if you’ve tried neem oil with dr bronners peppermint soap mixed in some water.. but being consistent with that helped me get through a rough time w thrips without using harsh pesticides!) goodluck on your journey!!🙏
Feeling spoiled with all these videos 🤩 Curious if you'd ever consider expanding the WF team and getting an editor to lighten your load? Or do you love the editing process too?
I feel like I’m following you with restarting all of my philodendron on new poles 😂 something I recently started is wrapping Saran Wrap around the top and around nodes rooted in the moss poles and it makes such a huge difference! I’m loving it so far and only about 1X/week watering the poles! 🥳 love you and your videos! 🌿
🪴🍀wishing your puppy’s well, poor Cadence. Love watching your vids. I have a silver sword but she’s so tiny, I’ve no idea why she’s not growing, she’s been in a tiny pot in a prop box for nearly a year! I hope she makes it. I live in Cornwall uk, high humidity year round. Your new home looks fab btw , thanks 🤩😊
The wire ones are drying to fast because they are a little on the thin side you can put some plastic wrap on the inside back of the wire poles to get it to dry slower like the plastic ones you could also put it on the outside back of your existing wire poles but it doesn't look very good with it on the outside mine without the plastic typically dry out within 3 days the ones with the plastic can go 10 days on some of the thicker ones
Thank you for being so thorough. I am new to using moss poles. May I ask, how to keep the moss pole moist, without overwatering the plant? Thanks in advance. Your dog is so adorable
I love putting your videos on in the background of my own plant chores, today it was housecleaning chores 🪴 I’m especially loving philodendron at the moment too, I’ve recently rescued a verrucosum I found on a throw out table at a big box store!!

Was just having the dangerous thought of “I could use some more philodendron, wonder which I should look into getting.” Perfect timing, Fern. 😂
