Bonus tip(?): Hey, you ever wanted MORE blast radius? Equip any Furax and slap the Amalgam mod on it (Amalgam Furax Body Count). You now have MORE boom, congratulations.
That is true, but I do think the Kuva Zarr (and the Kuna Ogris) are launchers that work with Amalgam Furax Body Count. When in doubt, check the wiki though.
I tried farming the Zarr and got over 30+ other weapons. Eventually I just spent 150 for a 30% Zarr! It gets the job done for now. Nezha makes Clearing paths so easy!
If farming liches didn't take like 2 hours (and that's after getting the Lich) I'd put more effort into it, but my 40 some odd percent Zarr more than enough
The amalgam furax body count mod does work on the kuva zarr as well. If I was planning on just spamming cannon mode in a mission, I may as well slot in my mk1 furax to get an additional 1.4m radius. And I guess it's technically a damage bump since the 70% falloff is now bumped out a tad bit more now too.
@@Aznvasions I think they need to be an actual launcher design wise for it to work. Ambassador looks like a regular gun, so technically its not a launcher even though it does have that secondary mode.
for any 2023+ people this mod doesnt work anymore "we removed its +20% Blast Radius on Specialized Launchers and replaced it with +45% Fire Rate for Secondary Weapons."
Honestly, I've been running the Kuva Zarr without Vigilante supplies or any other ammo conversion mod, because while the 15-30 spare ammo looks worryingly small, especially considering it uses Sniper ammo, but each drop gives ~20 ammo, so you only run dry if you're not killing lots and running around. This has really happened to me in 2 different situations: 1) Plains/Vallis when I'm *only* blowing up drop ships on the Archwing and 2) bosses, like Steel Path Lephantis. I also rolled a riven with crit/elec/toxin, so that's corrosive right there. Then I changed the inherit damage type to radiation, and slapped the heat/clip size mod on it (thinking about it now, maybe this could be changed to something else). There honestly isn't a lot that can survive it once I get a couple of Primary Merciless+Galvanized Barrel stacks, even before I experimented with Hunter Munitions. But usually that isn't even necessary. But of course it's one more status type for Aptitude, when I need a bit of extra oomph for Acolytes and Demolysts. The shrapnel are also great for taking out Nullifier bubbles. There really isn't much the gun can't do.
rad corr actually works decently well because you'll have type advantage against whatever armor you face. Zarr is strong enough there's plenty of builds to fiddle around with and find what you like, so I'm glad you managed to settle on something :)
Wait on the heat build, you mentioned that “waiting for DoT wont work because they are already dead.” From my understanding slash proc is also DoT. Wouldn’t modding for bane/damage be better than hunter munition (to kill faster)? I recently came back to warframe so someone mind explaining?
Heat inherit requires primer to setup because of how heat DoT size are calculated. It’s different than slash. The buildup is not worth it because the raw damage already kills them, unless you’re going for level cap. Slash doesn’t require the massive buildup. Banes double dip on DoTs. So 1.55x1.55 for 2.4x more damage. Raw damage only gets boosted once.
@@jordanmcminn998 I never use her Tailwind float. My mod setup lets me aimglide without sinking downward at all for about twelve seconds. Then hit my double-jump and get twelve more seconds.
As someone with a 60% Toxin, i dont think imma gwt a heat one. But.what you said its true, this is a all around great utility weapon. Need to farm fishes, slap Wukong with his clone and kill all around you. Want to do a quick mission, put on the Zarr and any frame
(you may have to double test this), but perhaps running bladed rounds (or another mod whatever) instead of amalgam serration could be considered as it will just overall increase dmg output as primary merciless already provides 360% base-damage increase, so opting to max out in another form of multiplicative dmg might be better. [or even galvanised aptitude (if it works)]. still though, very clear explanations and very cool video
Bladed Rounds would work better, but I value the movement speed a fair amount. The gap between amalg serr vs bladed isn't that big enough for me to be willing to switch personally, as the dps difference is in increments of fractions of a shot.
It's the second best kuva weapon. I love it so much. The original zarr is just beautiful and this is even more so. Got a great riven for it. It's not as good as the MIGHTY SEER but still one of my fav weps
Nice came to a similar conclusion with my Clan zarr does less then the bramma of you look at pure aoe destruction. But due to the barrage mode it allows the weapon to be great in other things like single target DPS or eidolons.
@@Aznvasions I totally agree with u Now I have a good weapon to use in Eidolon, I didn't want to do cuz i didn't have a great weapon It's time to kill those bad boys and get arcanes (Zarr rivenz are cheaper than Rubico and Vectis, so it's a nice option)
I pretty much just use Zarr for the cannon mode, but I still prefer it to the Bramma because I don't have to think about how long I'm holding down my mouse button to charge.
Doesnt amalgam serration + primary merciless gives diminishing returns? I instead slot in vigilante armaments to help drop more bomblets on the initial shot
It's diminishing, but you need to find out the actual diminishing. And I do value the movement speed. Amalg Serr vs not using it is 460% damage scaling vs 615% damage scaling when Merciless is fully stacked, or still a 33.7% total damage increase (this is a bit weak for an 8th mod slot, but ok) Vigilante with unstacked Galv MS is 2.4 MS vs 1.8 MS, or a 33% total damage increase. But keep in mind this is before Galv MS is stacked. Where Vigi does offer though, is 1 set bonus of the Vigi set, and if you're playing a game mode where you can't activate the Galv mod bonus, ie Eidolons. For normal use, Serration will still be better than Vigilante Armaments, assuming that Galv MS is on the build, and Merciless is being used
@@Aznvasions so assuming that I have all 4 vigilante mods on my sentinel’s weapon, It’s more beneficial to swap out vig armaments on my zarr for a serration or amalgam serration?
I got 5 zarrs in the 25%-31% then got a 57% on the 6th with each zarr lich taking a long while to even find and honestly with the 2+ weeks Ive had it I enjoyed it quite a bit not having a problem with any type of oponent now I just need to find a frame better than my wukong prime and get it a good build
Yeah that's one amazing weapon for sure. If only like u said about the reload, else it would be so much better. Also do u think ist worth putting all the three umbral set mods on nidus prime which is gonna come? Thinking of an improvised build for endurance over my regular nidus build.
It's up to you and your playstyle. I never build for armor personally. For frames like Nidus or Inaros, I build for CC instead, as you can normally just not get hit by moving around, and at higher levels in endurance, no amount of armor will save you either. But it does give you a super chill build to play with on standard SP though. Different builds for different purposes. So long as it suits what you are aiming to accomplish with the build, it's good.
@@Aznvasions yeah u just said what I thought otherwise, well thought a decent armour and a bit of set bonus buff would make it better. But then u would be using his passive the time u start any mission so it's not needed lol. Yeah better get some decent strength and duration with good range and neg efficiency with hunter adrenaline. That seems a lot better than umbral fibers place
Hi! I’m sure you meant primer and not armor strip. That’s a Heat Inherit Spectra. It’s viral and heat, with both Scorch and Primed Heated Charge. Status duration, bane, and my riven. But the riven can be replaced by barrel diffusion. The point is to set up a heat proc with as much heat% and bane% as possible, while also applying viral stacks. Then I use my main DPS weapon to benefit off the heat scaling when applying more stacks, since it uses the first proc to determine size of DoT (heat% bane%)
Nice one :) have you considered testing on exo grokstad captains? Those units are prolly the toughest - though bombards I know have other translations to other enemies in game. But I like using grokstad captains to really test the limits of the builds.
I actually just don't have them scanned. They actually have very similar eHP, about 5-10% eHP difference overall. Normally you would use Exo Gokstad for Ferrite armor testing, and DMBs for Alloy armor testing. In this case it actually showcases better on DMBs because they aren't weak to corrosive like Exo Gokstads are.
@@Aznvasionsagreed. I feel they are better as ferrite is what we encounter most when needing armour stripping. And alloy more for them Eddie's and such. DMB still good though, I was just a lil curious if you use them captains. :) thanks for the great content as usual man
Hoping we'll see at least a .5 increase to Riven disposition for this weapon and all the new Tenet/Lich variants. Not that they need a direct boost, it's more along the lines of build customization and mod slot capacity. Many of my best builds are those which I've managed to save 30+ slots by using a Riven.
It's probably just going to be for elemental slot save. I highly doubt any of the new Tenet weapons will rise above 0.7 total at all in the foreseeable future.
@@JTxTX I've got a CC/CD + Heat no negative that would be worth slotting. There's some questionable weapons with high dispo, just going to wait and see i guess.
Yep sisters have weird DR calcs that favours the barrage mode. Same reason why KHek is so strong against them. The barrage mode is basically a weaker version of that.
You said 1/19 odds , could you link where you found that stat? Does it have the odds for other kuva weapons ? Just for our discord in a nerd who needs statistics like this in demand lol subbed and bell hit 🤘🏻
I don't like Kuva Bramma because its a projectile weapon. But Kuva Zarr is my main weapon now, all is because of Terminal Velocity mod. That mod make Kuva Zarr almost like a hitscan weapon with canon mode. Since I do not have Primed Surefooted, I'm not using Primed Firestorm. But still it can clear whole room easily.
Is galvanized aptitude better than amalgam serration? are EITHER of them worth it or are we getting diminishing returns on the the base damage stat now due to primary merciless?
There are diminishing returns, but there are only so many mods worth slotting in, and before merciless procs, without these two mods, you start with no bonus base damage besides the weapon itself...which is technically ok, but just something to keep in mind. Aptitude still doesn't apply to the aoe, so you won't get bonus damage on anything except the shot itself, which is why I still ran Serration.
The builds are literally the same. Bramma is just slightly higher numbers, which most of the time doesn't matter. The question is what things can't the Bramma do, that Zarr can. And there are a couple things on that list.
@@Aznvasions yes better utility goes to the zarr but for all around general Warframe content the bramma can accomplish the same tasks. The only time a difference in utility is seen is in steel path endurance as you showed
These ones are my (albeit personal) reasons why I prefer zarr: 1. I don’t have to click release to shoot. The primary reason I actually dislike the Bramma is using it for long period makes my hand hurt. All bows eventually make my hand hurt, the click hold mechanics just isn’t for me. Not necessarily from a single mission, but just sustained playing in general. 2. Zarr also wins for disruption, not just survival. And like I said if you care about them, is fully viable for eidolons, and also surpasses Bramma for the same clear reasons due to how Bramma damage is calculated against them. For just SP boss nodes in general, if you can kill with a single mag, zarr also out-DPSes Bramma because it actually shoots faster, unless you specifically mod Bramma with fire rate, but now you’re also giving up DPS for bosses that don’t die in a single shot. It really just comes down to playstyle differences. At the end of the day, I won’t use Zarr, because I almost exclusively play eidolons and disruption, and imo there are much stronger tailor-made or also interesting abnormal loadout options for those game modes.
@@CALI_KINGCFC voidrig is actually one of the slowest ways to break limbs. It’s just easy and people who did Orphix venom have leftover built up necramechs lying around to put to use. But again in eidolons, I neither use Voidrig or rubico these days. Because well, both are too easy and I prefer having a challenge. But that’s just what happens whenever you do any particular activity too many times.
Heat is extremely strong, just...the firepower isn't really needed because it's strength is DoT infinite scaling. But the other options are strong enough that outside of extremely niche scenarios, you will never need that DoT scaling from Heat Zarr. Toxin for easy viral or pure Tox vs Corpus. Electric Zarr good for groups, extremely good, especially if grouping skills like ensnare/larva/airburst
Is there any reason you arent running galvanized Scope on your explosive weapons? The explosion's can trigger the headshot effect and you basically always have the buff as long as you ADS
Because I don't find it reliable enough in normal play, and also isn't really needed, and because on the opposite end of the spectrum, most of my stuff is geared towards endurance, where you are highly unlikely to kill with raw damage anymore. Unless I'm making a meme build, I generally aim towards practicality, versus bigger number.
@@Aznvasions always loved the weapon, I find it similar to vulkar wraith for example, it's worse than other counterparts but since the big dispo with a riven overclass other ones. managed to roll cd speed range -sc (almost free because of weeping wounds) and it's better than any guandao prime, also the base cd multiplier is one of the highest.
@@Aznvasions i actually never used it as maiming spin to win. I used for very short atterax and didn't like it, after a while i started playing the ms thing was nerfed, fortunately. I used kesheg always as normal melee, before melee 2.9 was mediocre at best, but rework made it very good.
You don’t have to sell me, I’m a zarr fanboy. Running a 60% toxin zarr with primed firestorm and galvanized mods. I’m already at 100,000 total kills with my kuva zarr.
K. zarr is strangely powerfull, i do simple math to compare it with my T. Arca plasmor and the result K. zarr outperform T. Arca plasmor. I even test it with oncall crew and acolyte dead in 2 shots.
Plasmor utility is different than KZarr. Though Zarr does seem to be some form of relative powercreep to other lich/sister weapons besides Bramma. But Plasmor has the unique synergy for how it interacts with Mag's bubble, and currently surpasses even Exergis.
Super happy to have found this channel and I'm using a lot of your builds and having a blast ♡♡♡♡ Random question I'm mr26(almost 27) is it worth to forma all kuva tenet weapons to 5 for the mastery?
No, unless you want to level UP your MR, but again theres no real point on going furter with the MR levels, almost all prime weapons need 14MR and thats it lich weapons ignore MR level, the blessings you get on max MR are good but it depends on you, I stayed on 14MR and recently I get to 20Mr just by playing.
@@raulalejandro3891 yeah I want to get to 30 for the convenience of always having 30 points for builds and giving myself blessings xD But idk if the investment of like 150 forma is worthwhile for the amount of mastery gain
It's entirely up to you on how much MR matters to you, the completionist side in you, and how easily you can source the Forma, time spent on leveling. Forma flows like water for me, and I have many personal ways to level now, so I don't mind it. Somewhat needed for me in general to get builds ready in time to showcase anyways. Depends on whatever your riven rolls. Replace the mod that has the worst stat that the riven has that is better. So you could swap CD, or an element, or base damage etc. if you're running it. Basically you always drop a mod that shares a stat with the riven.

demolysts? bring an armor stripper. Normal units? make sure your primer + DPS covers both viral and magnetic, so that you can power through by boosting damage against both shields and health.
I finally killed that Lich which had the Zarr, thank the gods it has innate heat... Gods I left that fucker for so long I almost forgot they existed. Also, Kuva Ogris is P gud with cold cuz they can't escape from the Napalm because they're slowed down by the cold procs, so they're dying thanks to heat and cold, which is kinda funny.
I am guessing that this Kuva Zarr has the toxin element given that I am seeing viral? I am just asking because i am planning on getting another Lich weapon after I get my Chakkurr and was torn between this and the Braumma. Judging from what I have seen this gun is way better than the bow >_>

Acolytes spawn on Steel Path. Level cap is L9999 enemies. L9999 can be done on either mode, but is reached much faster on Steel Path, and generally, only done on Steel Path, because they are way tankier with Steel Path scaling. General purpose, Toxin. Specific stuff like Demos, Heat technically pulls ahead, but only really worth if going for longer runs. Elec has memes, and generally not really worth. Heat can also make Gas memes...which is actually functional somehow. But Toxin and Heat will cover the majority of relevant stuff for Zarr
Mr old content the reason you max out viral is because your striping armor and also u and that toxic leader knightmarframe aka Mr racist have been so amusing to me for the last month and I have to say keep it up
Galv Aptitude as it currently functions only works on the initial projectile damage instance, none of the AOE damage scales with it, making it a terrible choice for the Zarr or any AOE weapon for that matter until the mod is fixed. You're welcome.
Like he said, it doesn’t work on the AoE. It is only worth using for the barrage mode, and I have yet to find a game mode where you would exclusively use barrage and can also benefit from the aptitude scaling bonus. So far the only “barrage game mode” is eidolons, but you can’t get the kills required to activate the stacks.
The absolute castration of the ammo pool makes it completely unappealing. It just isn't fun to use without significant investment, and why would I want to invest in something that isn't fun to use in the first place? As far as I'm concerned, it *is* just another Bramma. A dime a dozen, weapons like this.
Honestly with the massive buff to the projectile speed already, I just run Vigi Supplies in exilus anyways at this point, for a lot of rifles. To each their preferences. I don't mind the investment, but I personally dislike Bramma-esque weapons by principal, as they feel very unfun to me to use, irrespective of the grind or investment required to build/attain them.

True, I totally forgot that mod existed, because 99% of the time on new weapons it doesn't work for whatever reason.

Thanks for this video.
It hurts a little to think how many Zaar rivens I transmuted.
Smoge, it's ok, hindsight is 20/20
Honestly, I've been running the Kuva Zarr without Vigilante supplies or any other ammo conversion mod, because while the 15-30 spare ammo looks worryingly small, especially considering it uses Sniper ammo, but each drop gives ~20 ammo, so you only run dry if you're not killing lots and running around.
I put this on my Zero-G Zephyr to float indefinitely for that sweet crit buff. Turn the whole map into a glass parking lot.
Definitely, Zephyr is such a sleeper frame after her rework, she's insane now.
Zephyr can't reload while hovering so it's better to just bullet jump in the air and float around that way

@@Aznvasions fair enough then

So if DE adds better rewards to the pool for SP tridolons, what kind of weapons would you bring?
I'd still just take snipers. They aren't really hard. Would give a reason to farm them again.
Atm I just do them for fun.
I pretty much just use Zarr for the cannon mode, but I still prefer it to the Bramma because I don't have to think about how long I'm holding down my mouse button to charge.
That's the exact reason I don't use Bramma. I feel you.
Doesnt amalgam serration + primary merciless gives diminishing returns? I instead slot in vigilante armaments to help drop more bomblets on the initial shot
It's diminishing, but you need to find out the actual diminishing. And I do value the movement speed.
Amalg Serr vs not using it is 460% damage scaling vs 615% damage scaling when Merciless is fully stacked, or still a 33.7% total damage increase (this is a bit weak for an 8th mod slot, but ok)
Vigilante with unstacked Galv MS is 2.4 MS vs 1.8 MS, or a 33% total damage increase.

Hi Azn, great video! I've really been enjoying the Zarr. What is your Spectra Vandal setup for the armor strip (at 5:54 for example)?

I can't wait to see. Because I have a dmg multi toxic negative and cc multi sc neg.

Someone ran the stats a very long time ago and it seemed they were mostly evenly weighted when they polled Reddit for several thousand liches
Yep it feels cleaner to use imo, and one of the big reasons I like it
Is galvanized aptitude better than amalgam serration? are EITHER of them worth it or are we getting diminishing returns on the the base damage stat now due to primary merciless?
There are diminishing returns, but there are only so many mods worth slotting in, and before merciless procs, without these two mods, you start with no bonus base damage besides the weapon itself...which is technically ok, but just something to keep in mind. Aptitude still doesn't apply to the aoe, so you won't get bonus damage on anything except the shot itself, which is why I still ran Serration.
Sorry guys Bramma over Zarr if you build your bramma correctly
The builds are literally the same.
Bramma is just slightly higher numbers, which most of the time doesn't matter.
The question is what things can't the Bramma do, that Zarr can.
And there are a couple things on that list.
@@Aznvasions yes better utility goes to the zarr but for all around general Warframe content the bramma can accomplish the same tasks. The only time a difference in utility is seen is in steel path endurance as you showed
These ones are my (albeit personal) reasons why I prefer zarr:
@@Aznvasions I can't speak on disruption but great points on the mechanics behind bows. If you talking eidolons then bring voidrig and Rubico prime 😎
Cause it's a literal hand-cannon.
Bramma: Pepega
Kuva Zarr: Poggies

I had my doubts with kuva zarr but now im interested, also, should i get toxin zarr or electric zarr? Heat its an option but not that strong?
What innate element should I get on this, im struggling to find someone that answers this

Acolytes spawn on Steel Path. Level cap is L9999 enemies. L9999 can be done on either mode, but is reached much faster on Steel Path, and generally, only done on Steel Path, because they are way tankier with Steel Path scaling. You only run L9999 for the challenge, so might as well make it as hard as it can be. There is no reason to go that far, except literally just for the challenge you impose on yourself.
@@Aznvasions Okay thank you so much, I've played the game for awhile and knew it was new but didn't know what these things were and why they mattered so much.
How do you keep stripping Acolytes Armor
Vastilok Shattering Impact
i know critically the kuva zarr is very good weapon but ill never use it because i have a godroll kulstar riven so it would be a waste of time relative to other weapons I want and also when they eventually (I hope) release a kuva kulstar i'll have basically no reason to get the kuva zarr
(I know if you were doing level cap and stuff kuva zarr is actually better i just dont need that much damage)
Kulstar is a fun one though. Synth Charge still works on it, right?
@@Aznvasions according to the wiki atleast, i actually didnt know this mod existed until now
Bramma feels better and is still a few percent better
Whats the best element to farm for Kuva Zarr?
Toxin, then heat if you want, then lastly, elec. Rest are meh
Which element is the beat for the zarr
General purpose, Toxin. Specific stuff like Demos, Heat technically pulls ahead, but only really worth if going for longer runs. Elec has memes, and generally not really worth. Heat can also make Gas memes...which is actually functional somehow. But Toxin and Heat will cover the majority of relevant stuff for Zarr
6x3 zarr pepenam
Pepega
Mr old content the reason you max out viral is because your striping armor and also u and that toxic leader knightmarframe aka Mr racist have been so amusing to me for the last month and I have to say keep it up
cool
@@Aznvasions weakling i know you fakes could not help your selves, u people need school
@@djshachdem5712 thanks
zarr with mirage is litterally an air strike
mhmhm, and blinding too :D
You should try put aptitude there instead of serration. Thank me later
So far the only “barrage game mode” is eidolons, but you can’t get the kills required to activate the stacks.
how does his zarr have 111% crit chance
Barrage mode has 37% base crit
how in the world to you fire vastilok like that? I know the mechanics of the stance I just cant manage that speed
Alternating E and W+E
@@Aznvasions Hey Azn, could the redeemer prime strip armor just as well as the vastilok or is the vastilok the best armor stripper?
@@muatring redeemer is pure blast, it cannot strip armor
@@Aznvasions thank you for explaining.
@@muatring no problem cheers
The absolute castration of the ammo pool makes it completely unappealing.
It just isn't fun to use without significant investment, and why would I want to invest in something that isn't fun to use in the first place?
As far as I'm concerned, it *is* just another Bramma. A dime a dozen, weapons like this.
Honestly with the massive buff to the projectile speed already,
I just run Vigi Supplies in exilus anyways at this point, for a lot of rifles.
To each their preferences.
I don't mind the investment, but I personally dislike Bramma-esque weapons by principal,
as they feel very unfun to me to use, irrespective of the grind or investment required to build/attain them.
One gauss build later
Ah I still don't have him built lol
@@Aznvasions have fun then I think the best build for him is a strength duration build not 100% certain tho
What element did you farm for?
Toxin
