Behind the Spotlight with Lighting Designer Susan Rose (Ringo Starr)

Full Sail University Recording Arts graduate/Hall of Fame inductee Susan Rose has worked as a lighting designer, director, and programmer, touring around the globe with artists including Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band, Louise Mandrell, Hank Williams Jr., John Berry, and many more. She has worked on numerous televised specials including the Stellar Awards, the Dove Awards, the Trumpet Awards, and the Freddy Awards; as well as events for the Walt Disney Company, Dollywood, SeaWorld, and Nickelodeon.
In this presentation with Full Sail Show Production Course Director Susan Kelleher, Susan Rose discusses her career path after graduation (including her production gig at the legendary Opryland), talks about her own music career, shares what it's like to be on the road with a Beatle, and gives advice to students looking to work in lighting.
