She is a rare and real talent at only 19 and still maturing. I am 72 and the last time a voice impressed me so much was over 50 years ago the first time I heard Linda Rondstadt sing and who I have used as a comparison to judge others against along with singers like Karen Carpernter and Mama Cass Elliot. Lucy has her own voice and style but she is now one of four comparisons I like to use to assess others, and her covers sound better than the originals.

Lucy is the next Barbara Streisand. However, she can take on any cover with absolute vocal perfection. She's a great kid too, with great qualities, never forgetting her fans. Lucie, this is a flat-out love song. Starting at those few introductory notes her voice was different (at least to me). They were light, more pure w/o as much depth or overtones as usual for her, but just tender. it really set the tone for this whole rendition. Most of the song had a light, inviting and emotional quality to it. And toward the end the line: "time won't change the meaning of love" brings us down to earth again and reflects the tender feeling of the song. This is an astounding rendition.
When Lucy sings nothing else exists you enter a different world, Martha her sister is not far behind and they have just released 'what a wonderful world' together, a must listen along with 'the prayer' if you haven't heard it - all beautiful, great reaction.

OMG, LUCY THOMAS just sends shivers up my spine n the hairs on my arms stand tall. I’m sure this young lady is an Angel from Heaven. Oh man she signifies everything good about a lady who not only has such a great gift in way of her voice but it’s Lucy’s inner n outer beauty that is so magnificent. When you hear/see her family n learn a little about them they are like all so grounded and have that spiritual way about them it makes one love them all. It’s like a perfect family? I don’t know quite how to explain it but when you hear Lucy sing it’s like she’s singing in front of you such is the her pure voice. And, LUCY, seems to be able to LIVE THAT DONG she’s singing. It’s like she can feel the meaning n pass that on to us. I have listened to to most of her songs n I’m in awe of how she handles the songs with such perfection. Just close your eyes n wear some headphones so you can truly hear this magical sound, a gift from Heaven .
Just imagine everything that can be so good in anyone n then add a pure voice n imagine the presence of a beautiful young lady with looks that defy her beauty AND without all the makeup, tattoos, a body covered in jewellery to spoil it. Lucy is one very classy,attractive n grounded woman , the type that most men would be proud to introduce her to their parents.

Lucie, it's been 2 months since I first heard this one but it still causes a drastic reaction in me. It's beautiful and Lucy sang it with a very emotional tone in her voice. Once more chills and tears. I must enjoy having my heart strings yanked by her.

Hi Lucie😆I’m a new subscriber n YES! I know exactly how you feel re Lucy n THAT VOICE! Wow wow wow. I’ve listened to her for about 6 -9 months n it’s gotten so I can’t hear enough of her. I seem to play 2-3 of her songs every day as it really lifts one’s spirits. Yes it doesn’t seem fair to other singers because she just NAILS every song n owns it. I’m almost 70 n so I’ve heard so many great singers like Streisand, Whitney H, Dianna Ross, K.D.Lang, Celine Dion and one or 2 others who have performed in musicals but their names elude me at present. This young lady will go all the way , and with respect to Streisand, time will determine if she can become one of the greatest singers ever. With the gentle soft changes in her voice , as her pitch rises, it’s like she’s taking us with her voice on a ride to the heavens. Such control n being able to hold the notes is nothing short of Brilliant. She is like an Angel with a gift from God for us to listen to. So clear, crisp and beautiful pronunciation of the words. I love her beginning where there is the humming n then…. her words are just so soft , like a heartbeat. YES, it’s so hard to say the correct words to describe her singing.On your recording at the 5.20min mark , I just love how she soars skywards with that part of the song “ spirits rise n their dance is unrehearsed “ OMG! It’s just her energy pouring so easily into the next line. Her eyes almost say” look out here’s another high note”. Done so effortlessly. It’s like she can lift her voice as easily as we might pick up a feather, n then allow that feather to be blown so gently in either direction. She captures the very essence of music that enriches our souls n takes away from everything except to want to listen more n more to her. Do yourself a favour if you haven’t already n listen to her version of THE WAY WE WERE. That song n the one played now are my 2 favourites but she just seems to perfect every song she sings. Yes, I’m with you, words are so hard to say how good she is . 👌⭐️👏🌹
