Oh WOW. Melanie. I just ❤️❤️ it that’s just my Style!👍 Such a neat idea to make the headboard into a console table Genius 👏 I’m Certainly Gonna get me some of those powders 👍 Just Have to find the right piece ! Have an Awesome Day 😊 Can’t wait to See what you do next 👍
This is GORGEOUS, great job! I think the sand toy you are referring to is a Magic Window. This video makes me excited to try the Making Powders, thanks for the inspo, love your channel 💚✌!!
🦋I just saw Christie’s video a tutorial regarding the pigments. I’m so excited, and my mind is racing on projects I want to start. What you’re doing is like magic! You and Christie have inspired me.
Absolutely perfect! I had no idea New Year’s was a metallic. I want to throw the powders in a pool of water too so the sealing tip is helpful. It added the right amount of texture too. Always appreciate your animal check ins. Thx Mel👏👏💕❤️
Love when we get to see all your menagerie. Warms my heart. Also really enjoyed watching you experiment with these pigment powders. Brilliant colors and they look fun to use, but what has concerned me is how the heck can you seal over them? You figured out a method, but if you don't want that type of textured surface, just brushing it on would ruin the look. Honestly, I don't think I will buy them because they can't be sealed properly.... It's like trying to seal a watercolor painting, the colors would just run together.
You kinda lost all your yellow and bright red, probably could have gotten the same effect with just the blue base coat and use the pigments for the rest of it cause you washed it all off, dont get me wrong, I love what you did, but you lost your color using too much water and over working it, just constructive criticism, I am an artist so it comes with the territory
WOW what a beautiful effect and the colours are gorgeous, love everything about it !

Pretty
Thank you
I remember the sand thing. I loved it. No idea what it was called either. This is gorgeous.
Thank you. And darn it!
Great project !
Those powders look like fun I’d love to make colored waxes. wonder 🤔 if they would keep better since it’s pure pigment?
I would assume so
Love love love!!! \o/
Awe thanks Sue 🤗🤗

Spraying the top coat would work. Mixing them with watery topcoat instead of just water is probably the way to go… making a glaze.
Wow!!!
What's the difference between using the pigments drying brushing versus paint?
I love it Melanie!! So fun and free!!
(Unlike your air conditioner 🤪)
😂😂
How do you dry your creations? I ruined a few D I Y projects because the excessive spraying never dried
I let them air dry. I’m not certain where you live so idk… but here we are super dry most the time and hot in the summer.
Wow that's alot for an AC, I'd get another estimate....
It's not my style but it is a cool technique! Especially if you love tie dye!
❤
Which IOD molds are these please?
Trimmings and birds
