Greetings! 33:48 Nice to see my music remake mod made it into the Mod Collection.
You did a fantastic job with the music, wouldn't be the same without your fantastic remaster, I saw your videos on the Doom Music as well very nice work!
@@TheServerSupreme Yeah, we've completed the Daggerfall, Doom 1, and Doom 2 music mods and we've got a couple of other mods on the horizon (Ultima IV is next). I'm also planning on updating the Daggerfall and Arena remakes with a fresh remake in the near future, so stay tuned for that! :)
Anyway, I wanted to congratulate on a fantastic and successful video, and also thank you for the shoutout. That was super cool of you. Keep doing what you're doing!
This game may be impossible to remake today, but seeing the passion of modders I know that one day it will be. Humanity is capable of creating anything we can dream of, remember that.
Look into Wayward Realms. It's being worked on by the lead developers that worked on Arena and Daggerfall
😂🤣
Wow looks like something I would love to try!
Why would it be impossible?
That doesn't mean you will get daggerfall 2. wrf
I played this game in the mid' 90' and it was a huge experience .. Better than the excellent Ultima underworld series, because the Open world was soooo big !! And now, thanks with your video, I play again Daggerfall with a more modern feeling and greater experience. Thanks for this mate !!! Cheers 😎😎
Thanks for stopping by, and glad I could help. Wanted to make it easy for anyone to experience one of the best elder scrolls ever created. So I hope it was an easy process to follow from start to finish.
Great video and demo of mods. I started playing DF back when the demo came out on CD-ROM in 1995. Love this game and I love what the modding community has done with it.
Nice to see someone else who appreciates dark dungeons like me.
Just keeping it real ya know 😆
Great video! I was looking to return to Daggerfall after not having played it in a few years so this helped a lot, especially with all the details about the load order and mod settings!
Thank you I know load order and the settings can be the toughest hurdle to get over when mod-ing daggerfall. Glad I could help!
Superb. Thanks to you this aging TES fan who started out with TESIII back in the days is finally catching up with the monster predecessor I was always expected to have spent half my life on. Thank you so much for this step by step guide. I'm gonna allow the game to be my grimroot+torchlight baby. I only have one gripe; as I'm having first experience heavily modded I fear it will be to distant from original experience. Or perhaps that's completely wrong and it's other way around with these gorgeous light settings. I fear for my life now as exploring big maps is a passion of mine and Vvardenfell journeys still haunt my dreams :)
If you are worried about having a non-vanilla experience you can disable a couple of mods untill you are ready to try them, the mod package focuses mostly on improving visuals and immersion, the only new mechanics that would differ from vanilla are the travel options, loot containers and lock boxes, climates and calories, roleplay items, vampiric options witch makes bloodlust a little less annoying and lousy lycans which make werewolves have a drawback that you will turn on a full moon and drop your items if you don't stash them the night before. The other game changers shouldn't make much of a difference vs vanilla such as added quests and flavor text when entering areas. I would recommend skipping climates and calories for your first playthough though as it adds a bit of difficulty to the game especially since you start in winter and the cold hits your stats hard and running out of fatigue in dangerous areas will cause death.
Just a little recommendation from the author of UBLAMF. His two dfmods should be all the way at the TOP of the load order. DREAM and other graphic mods are recommended to be all the way at the bottom (similar like in the video). The texture and models mods that you want to "win" (show up in the game) should load last, while you can use others as base. (for example I use HD Enhanced under DREAM. HD enhanced is not in this video though so don't worry about it if you run the load order in this video)
Might be in the next one though with the release of DFU 1.0. Thanks for the tip! 👍
Thanks for tips! :) Some time ago I tried most of them...but some of them were buggy (for example dungeon loot stopped working after some time) so I ended with the base game + some add-ons (mana regen). But just becuse I wanted vanilla feeling and magica mod so I could enjoy mage class more.
You did awesome work for finding those and make them work! It is quite hard job just to browse all those mods!
It was quite the task, I'm almost glad the mod-ing community for Daggerfall isn't as big as some of the other elder scrolls games. But I hand picked all the mods and went though every page looking for the best mods to improve gameplay and immersion for the best Daggerfall experience. It took almost 2 weeks for the mod package alone and almost another 2 for the video. Thank you for the positive comment and I hope you enjoy the mod package.
Thanks for the work !
And for the discovery of Scott Buckley, amazing musics.
Your welcome, thanks for stopping by.
setup is perfect here.
Jesus, Your Daggerfall configuration looks amazing! super confy!
Thank you!
Excellent video, just gained a subscriber!
Thanks for the Sub super appreciated!
u sir are a god thanks for takin time out your day to help others
Thank you, I'm hoping to be the primary resource for people who like to mod their games in the future. Thanks for commenting and checking out my video.
This looks great.
Thanks it really is loads of fun.
Downloaded the pack last night, didn't get to play much. The only mod I added was spellcasting hands.
I did have an issue with Hud hotkeys not loading. I'll see if I can fix that tonight.
Thanks for uploading and making the mod collection. You are clearly a Supreme Server. 🍻
In the mod settings in DFU there is a setting you need to turn on to make it work properly.
@TheServerSupreme I've been having a lot of fun with it, the modpack did most of the heavy lifting. Thanks again 👍
@@eldenwarden9673 Thanks glad your enjoying, sorry for the long wait on the reply there are so many comments to go through its hard to see and get to them all.
You sir are a true gentleman. Thank you!
Thank you for checking out the video and my channel.
Hopefully you keep this updated in the future because I love your particular collection.
Trying to have the deepest gameplay possible while still being lore friendly is how I play TES games.
I deffinately will do my best, I know this is suppose to be an update for DREAM that's being worked on and the next unity update is in the works.
Now we just need some GPT integration for AI NPC interactions!
That ain't so far off, I just saw a video of someone demonstrating Inworld AI to generate dialogue in Skyrim with in-game prompts. Interactions between NPCs, assuming they don't have complex relationships, shouldn't be too much harder; if the AI is trained on human conservations, it can probably generate examples of what casual interactions might sound like. It might not make CONVINCING simulated conversations, but hey TES NPC conversations have always been jank, it's charming.
Once they can optimize a model to a point where you can get relevant dialog without the 5-10 second pause, it's over. Every game will have it. For now the pauses from the current experiments would be kind of obnoxious.
@@gawni1612 I doubt it'll replace curated dialogue any time soon since that's important to story telling but the delay wouldn't matter in ambient dialogue between NPCs since you could generate the whole conversation upfront.
Great, so we won’t have writers being paid to create new storylines and dialogue.
Here what will be happening, hand made prompt base on current relationship and history done via traditional method, sets the goals, but the ai take that prompt and turn it into generated dialogue.
The thing I miss the most about Daggerfall is the procedurally generated random dungeons. I don't understand why modern Skyrim or even modern games in general didn't follow this model. I loved how I could get lost literally for days sometimes, wandering around some random dungeon, trying to find treasure, adventure or hell just the way out.
Daggerfall has the most replayablity out of any elder scrolls game in my opinion, I don't think I'll ever be able to visit every town even if I play the game for the next 10 years, which I intend to do by the way.😂 and that's just scratching the surface, every playthough is truely unique even when playing the same character and I love it.
@@TheServerSupreme That is because everything looks the exact same. There is only so much you can do with a MS-DOS game from the mid-90s
this is a terrible feature why would you want auto generated dungeons that take 8 hours of wasted time because the quest item was behind a hidden door the entire time
because it's fun and feels like an actual expansive dangerous dungeon and not a dingy little cave@@OrphabKicker
Great video and thanks for making it. Anyone else have trouble getting darker dungeons to work?
What part? Make sure you have torches set as items in the main options for daggerfall unity otherwise the player torch is always on.
@@TheServerSupreme All my dungeon hallways are brightly lit. Nothing seems effect by darker dungeons at all.
Under the better ambiance mod settings in the mod list set dungeon darkness to 0.2
Also enable Fog ambient effect and the slider should be at 0.2 as well this is what makes the dungeons dark.
Make sure you went through the mod setting/presets chapter of the video to verify all settings match mine for the same effects that were shown in the video.
Darker Dungeons affects the torches and lanterns to make them toggleable, you can use them to mark your way in dungeons so you know where you have been already or go into steal mode and grab torches off the walls.
this video had no reason to go so hard as it did. Good job. seeing about 500 subcribers was suprising
Thanks much appreciated. I try to make the best content I can even though I'm still pretty new at this. Started last year about this time with no video editing experience what so ever. Had to hit pause for a bit after this video but I have been back at it trying to do as much as I can between work and family life. Got more content coming soon. Working on a new mod collection and a new video on another classic game I grew up with. Thanks again comments like this really get me pushing towards my goal of being a full time content creator one day.
This looks so good, I love the atmosphere of the darkness.
Why put torches in a game if there is no reason to use them right? I love my Daggerfall dungeons dark and spooky!
@@TheServerSupreme exactly I definitely need to scroll through your vods, I never really knew there was much of a modding scene for this game.
@@fiend_gaming if you click the link to the mod collection it has a tab listing all mods in the package. About 80 mods in total.
@@TheServerSupreme looks sexy also saw you play barony, you ever play exanima? Hellmode in that is the closest I've seen come to the lighting for this
@@fiend_gaming I haven't but I will check it out. I like that realistic darkness, hell even when I played minecraft I added a shader pack to my server for darker nights and caves lol
your video maks me to play this game , i moded almost all correct , but for one of most important is the compass mod and i just fail instaling this , or other mod what shows the quests hint , because i think i lose too much time talking to peope in tow for then gives ne localization of an npc which i need talk in order to process the quest , this compass mod will help a lot
If installing the mods manually you should just be able to drop the files into your streaming assets folder from the zip file for the compass mod. If the mod is showing up in the mod list in game try using the keys [ and ]. Double tapping the [ key will bring up a menu for the compass to adjust size and location of compass on screen. Pressing [ and ] together can hide the compass. I also go into the mod setting in DFU and turn off equippable compass that way it always shows up rather than having to purchase one in game from the mages guild. I also turn off the effect such as dirt, frost, and blood but that up to you.
hey i just imstalled your mod package.. i cant seem to figure out how to resize the compass it takes up most of my screen
also
i think there are a couple new ones added now so i just threw them at the bottom of the load order which are "rest warning unwell" and "world of dagger fall" unless i missed them in your load order section...
EDIT: i figured out using left bracket opens a little menu on the side to adjust map size which makes the compass smaller or bigger.. now i just cant get the menu to go away without making the compass dissapear as well by pressing both left and right bracket at the same time
The hot keys are listed in the DFU mod menu just go to the enchanted compass in the mod list and open settings to view all hot keys. I also turned off a few features such as dirt and repairing as those features seem unfinished but I really like the mini map.
Hey man, what's the song you used during the "realistic wagon and 3d models" part of the video? I want to find the guitar tabs for it!

Daggerfall was the G.O.A.T. I still hear the daggerfall horse sound file played on movies and TV shows to this day.
Really I had no idea cool fact!
@TheServerSupreme once you hear it, you can't unhear it. The daggerfall horse sound is in almost every movie with horses
Great video and mod bundle. Really added a lot of depth and quality of life elements to the game. I am having one issue though. It seems Darker Dungeons has added a green or blue fog to dungeons. Not sure if this is only for some and not all, as I haven't fully tested it. Has anyone else noticed this issue?
Verify you better ambiance and advanced interior lighting settings match mine.
I can almost guarantee that there will be a Daggerfall mod made for the Wayward Realms whenever it releases.
Very excited for Wayward Realms!
The intro contains such a concentration of pathos that only the sorcerer doing the dub was missing in the background. 😂 Did you take an example from Hollywood movie trailers?
Something like that, just had an idea and went with it and was really happy with the results.
idk why but i had no presets in any mod and i cant access the compass settings, and a lot video settings are non existent, like those cool high def textures, or dark dungeons
They have updated Daggerfall unity to full release v1.0, this mod package is compatible with v 0.14.5 beta, I'm currently putting together a new mod package for the most recent version and I should have a overview video and install guide up in a week or 2
Tbh the gog unity version comes with most of the more popular mods. I started playing with that vainilla and is overall a nice experience.
@Zhakaron made a video on why the GoG cut is the worst version of the game. I would love to give him credit as I thought the GoG cut was good until checking out his video over a year ago. You can check it out here. ruclips.net/video/PW2Mg-l-dy4/видео.htmlsi=N4QcCupqaeZC1kXQ
so I found out this mod pack will only function properly with DF Unity 14.5 betal.. any of the newer versions causes the game to crash when loading a save/dying/exiting the tutorial dungeon
Thank you for your comments and sorry I wasn't able to help with the troubleshooting process. I'll have to update the video description as new versions of daggerfall unity have released that may no longer be compatible with some mods in the package. I will eventually go through and create an updated mod pack for the next major release of daggerfall unity.
Daggerfall Unity! Mod Installation! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for stopping by hope you like the mod collection!
is there any mod that puts some care into Small dungeons in the game and turn them into something more rewarding to explore? I remember stumbling across many small dungeons in the game world that are called "Crypts" and while they looked amazing there was not much to explore on the inside, maybe 2 corridors, 2 doors and back to the entrance
I know there is a mod {Locked loot containers by Magicono43} that adds locked chests to certain areas of the game, giving you a reason to explore the smaller crypts or any dungeon really in a chance of finding some nice loot. I am currently creating a new mod collection after the release of DFU 1.0 and intend to do short review videos on individual mods for Daggerfall. Lots of mods are being updated to work with DFU 1.0 and some mods are no longer being worked on and some are temporally broken. I intend to do the leg work and keep everyone updated on the good the bad and the ugly.
Link to mod : www.nexusmods.com/daggerfallunity/mods/451?tab=files
Only issue so far with list installation via Vortex is that it places the Hot Key HUD mod outside the mods folder. Mod author got the structure wrong when packing the file. Commented on the mod itself so the author can correct it.
My bad on that, I tried to fix all broken directories so it would streamline the process I must have missed one, thanks for letting me know so I can fix it.
@@TheServerSupreme No worries. Mod list is great otherwise. I decided to opt for version 0.15.3 of Daggerfall and updated a couple of mods, including Hot Key HUD which was updated for 0.15.3. No issues as of yet.
I personally have not played daggerfall unity in over a year, i stopped because i was getting lag spikes and micro stutter due to mods. The more mods you use the more micro stutters/pauses and lag you will get. Last time i checked someone was working on it to rectify that issue but it seems like that has not yet been fixed according to your most resent video. It was so bad on my end that i was getting a micro stutter for a half a second, every 5 second intervals, it literally becomes unplayable. Also every time you transitioned between interior and exterior there was a 3 to 6 second lag delay that dropped your FPS into single digits. I really hope it will be fixed some day.
yeah brother for me it was the same, and I can see on the video that the stuttering persists.
Stuttering for me mostly happens when loading into new areas or when using travel options, I don't seem to get it much else. I know the real grass mod takes a heavy toll on fps especially with stones enabled. I know a new DFU is in beta right now so I'm not sure if you want to give that a try. Its version 0.15.2, hopefully it will be flawless in the future but that's the nature of modding sometimes its buggy and frustrating but when you get it right it can be amazing.
Best Daggerfall experience will probably come from the upcoming wayward realms game, you can bet your arse someone will make a daggerfall mod for it.
@TheServerSupreme Hi! I took out some time to try and get into Daggerfall. Your mod setup works great, but I ran into a snag, and I'm not sure if I'm missing something. Can't seem to find an explanation for it online, so I'll give it a shot asking here. I went to the Old Blades in Daggerfall to get my items repaired. I had to wait 4 days for all gear to be repaired, so I went and rented out a room for 4 days in the inn next door. It's been 6 days now and my gear is nowhere to be seen. Am I missing something or is this a known issue, perhaps with one of the mods? Many thanks to go over the mod setup in such great detail. I subbed because of it!
I will try to re create the issue you are having in my game, typically after the amount of time expires you go back to the same merchant you are repairing your items with, click the repair items option and any items you paid to repair should be there ready to add to your inventory or will still have a timer on them if you come back to soon such as 1 day ect. Could be a bug with that specific merchant. I have yet to run into this issue in my game but again I will try this with the exact merchant and see if I have an item that will take 4 days to repair.
@@TheServerSupreme I see. In that case I guess my items just disappeared, there's nothing in the inventory for the repair option to the right. Must be a bug, or a cheeky shopkeep. Regardless, I started over and will attempt repairs in another shop from now on. Thanks for the reply!
@@pretzl84 Is it possible you put them on the ground in the repair menu? That's why I always save constantly, you never know when your gonna catch a game ending disease or botch a quest by accident. I have never run into the issue though with repairs, I still haven't had a chance to test this with that specific shop keep but it must be something with the unity build itself as none of the mods I use should be affecting repairs.
how did you "shrink" the magic compas. When i have it on it's HUGE and blocks quite a bit
Double tap the left bracket key, --> [
Should open an options menu to change the size
@@TheServerSupreme i found my mistake :) since i used the same configuration and it didn't work i've changed the zoom in zoom out buttons to other keybord letters. BUT you have to enter them at upper case letters (so X not x for example) :D
Do you need a Premium account for this to work? I followed the instructions but it's telling me that for each mod, I have to download it from the individual page for that mod, that's going to take forever.
Yes I verified on the nexus site, for vortex to automatically download all mods you need to have premium, which I think is $5 a month. Otherwise you will have to manually click download on each mod for the collection. Sorry for not clarifying that in the video.
This looks like one of those retro RPGs coming out of the Indie market today
Yea this is one of the originals, I started with Morrowind as kid in 2002 and came back to play Daggerfall just this past year.
@@TheServerSupreme it has a certain charme I really like
What mod is giving you the awesome new dungeon textures? Is that bump mapping?
Parallax mapping?
The Dream mod takes care of all the updated textures
my game is crashing every time i load a saved game, do you know of anyway to fix it. I figured out the problems in my last comment
This mod package was designed to be used with DFU 0.14.5 anything newer can cause problems such as that. I just got the new DFU 1.0.0 and am working on testing mods for a new collection. Sorry I wasn't able to get to you sooner.
@@TheServerSupreme 1.0 has made alot of the mods for 14.5 work fine now but the torch hud indicator mod has broke
@@MarcelVincent Thank you for letting me know about torch hud mod being broken. Just started to work on a new mod collection for DFU 1.0 and also a series testing and reviewing individual mods and explaining how to use them. I want to try to focus on shorter videos that cover individual topics so there is less searching through a large video for the part your interested in.
Field alchemy kits are probably really usefull for vampires, dunno since i never installed the mod
I always find myself with extra ingredients, the kits are expensive and heavy but can save you time not having to find a mages guild. And if you are more of a theify build you. An get tons of Ingredients by night shopping 🙃
It's hard to seek through this 1 hour video for the specific part I want.
The instructions could have been a
I did add chapters to the video in the description to help so you wouldn't have to seek through the video.
They added MOD COLLECTIONS?! This is a game changer.
Yea if you have vortex premium it really streamlines the process, I mod so many games that its worth the 5 bucks just to have quicker downloads ect.
@@TheServerSupreme I pulled the triggger today and subbed for a month, so I don't need to do this manually.
@@definitelynotadam honestly if your serious about modding your games such as daggerfall and others it's worth it for $5 just on the time it can save. Just remember to cancel it before next month.
god bless you for going over the load order. Game will crash like crazy till getting this right
Yea that is one of the hardest parts to find information on, a lot of reorganizing went into getting that right. Thanks for the thanks!
Just curious what is your opinion on 3d enemies? I see this list doesnt go with it.
The creator of the mod is no longer active and will not be completing the mod from what I understand.
Also a lot of the models such as werewolves and wearboars were removed.
The creator of faithful 3d people, ninelan is working on 3d enemies but its still a work in progress so I am waiting for the release of that mod instead.
There is more info on the daggerfall workshop forums if you interested in more details.
@@TheServerSupreme Ohh okay good to know.
@@Phyon1 I was a bit bummed to find that out myself as 3d models look fantastic compared to the flats. Hopefully now DFU is at v1.0 and fully stable we will see more mods being produced and completed.
Can I do this on steam version, or I have to download standalone Daggerfall?
I haven't tested it with the steam version. In theory it should work but If you run into issues with the install I might not be able to help.
@@TheServerSupreme thanks. Guess I have to do this like in video ;)
@@maciej3846 The only part that is time consuming is the load order and mod settings which you would have to do on steam anyway. You got this 👍
One difference I noticed is the standalone seem to come prepacked with unofficial patches and whatnot. I doubt steam version come with that. So I'm left a little puzzled whether I would need these patches after following this guide on a steam install.
UNLEEEEEESH THE POWAAAA OF THE MAUUUUDZZ! Trying to type with Gandalf yelling accent, sorry..
I hope I made Gandalf proud!
bro, what's up with the aspect ratio?
I play on an ultrawide moniter so I think it's 21:9. I could scale it down to 16:9 but I don't really like the results with it. My moniter display is 3440x1440.
Wait what do you mean it won't work on Mac, why not? DFU is Mac compatible
I haven't been able to test anything on Mac, in theory all mods should work. The package is designed to install all mods in the proper directory mirroring my own installation on windows 10. I do not want to tell people it works on other operating systems as I have no way to confirm, test, or help troubleshoot at all if things do not go properly. At one point I would love to be able to test these things on Mac and Linux but unfortunately finances and time are my biggest limitations at the moment. One day that will be possible it just isn't today unfortunately.
Also some mods in the package have windows versions and OSX versions such as low poly trees, world of daggerfall and a few others.
I used Lootable Loot Containers Mod, twas very buggy for me as it allowed me to loot the same container over and over again until i was over weight.
If anything somone needs to make a mod that makes you able to sell your potions. Alchemy it self is rather disappointing hence needs to be expended, furthermore not being to sell your potions is an annoyance it self, as alchemy ingredients and potions are everywhere and pile up endlessly especially if you utilize magic to any extent as magic is simply superior and completely overshadows alchemy.
Working on a better mod collection since DFU is now at v1.0. Thank you for informing me on the brokenness of said mod. I am going to start a series reviewing individual mods for Daggerfall for those who like to choose their own individual mods.
one of the largest maps? Maybe 10 years ago. games like No mans sky, and Empyrion beat it senseless in that department.
It's more like almost 30 years so I would hope today's games can. But they did hold that title for far longer than these new games.
Yes. Space is larger than Britain lol.
wish it was as easy to swap load order in this as other games, but it's not as bad. just a lot of clicking here lol
Yea Daggerfall is the easiest to mod out of all the TES games, although I haven't tried arena.
Oblivion has to be the toughest to mod in my opinion.
Really? Cooooool
Just wait a year or two until the A.i can completely remake the game using Unreal Engine 5. That kind of thing shouldn't be too far off.
Its already happening, lead developers for daggerfall and arena are working on a project called The Wayward Realms. Very exciting stuff!
@@TheServerSupreme Sure but when will it be done, if ever? The AGi will end the need for human developers completely, and just remake the whole game in a day. Well depending on the hardware it's running on of course.
is this updated for 2024 ?
Currently working on a new package for the new DFU as mods are being updated for the most recent version
def waiting for that, thank you !
id love to see a daggerfall remastered, not AAA quality just the base game but with modernised controls, graphics and an optional Always hit, manual timed block combat system but with the ability to play classic.
bethesda could even experiment and have AI voices for NPCs for a test playground, again also optional
i think that would be pretty cool
l3lessed is working on an overhauled combat system with timed blocks and parries so it may be a thing in the future
Dude, one does not simply recommend vortex instead of mo2
Mo2 is great but not noob friendly, plus the hassle of downloading 80 individuals mods can be a turn off for most, I was trying to make it easier for people to play a modded daggerfall
@@TheServerSupreme fair point, but I honestly think that MO2's difficulty is highly exaggerated. The two lists can easily be explained
Oregon Trail mod
pleeease
Something I may check out in the future. Remember playing hours of that in school back in the day.
Music is a bit loud
Thanks for letting me know, will try to keep the background music a little lower next time
If "realistic" cart was actually realistic it would constantly be getting robbed and all your stuff stolen, not a fan of Dream but overall a good overview video
Haha that would be great, don't leave your cart unattended just like in the grocery store. Currently working on a non DREAM mod collection for the new DFU 1.0.0
Such a shame there was no COOP put in the game :(
Someone was working on a multiplayer version of unity, not sure if it's still being worked on though
@@TheServerSupreme Yeh that would be awesome. Dont think they are working on it. The Dev said he might put COOP in but then I guess changed his mind sad really :(
Muh graphics modding : just make everything darker
I want a reason to have to use a torch, dungeons are suppose to be dark and scary.
Why do people like not being able to see? kind of ruins the graphics upgrade. Dungeon loot mod is broken and gives to much good loot each time. like high quality swords. Traveling alchemist is cheaty too. Shops can be randomly changed each playthrough so no you might not find 2 alch shops there. Guild upgrades bug out quest NPCs that aren't there unless quest is active. meaning that NPC does not show up ruining your quest.
Some people like the horror and realism aspect of a "dark" dungeon. As for some of the mods yes with more play time I see that those mods can be a bit cheaty and thank you for making me aware of bugs in the other mods. I am hoping the will be addressed in future mod updates.
collection in vortex is great. but lowpolytrees_v5 in collection is disgusting. if you just disable this mod in collection, trees looks much better. and if you install simple 3d trees you will see difrence. suggest disable lowpolytrees and add simple 3d trees in collection. thumb up to collection and thanks to developers of daggerfall unity. they bring new colors to old game
I like the simple 3d trees better but I did experience the trees clipping through certain buildings on the inside I can add both and allow one or the other to be enabled or disabled
guy has full 3D horse, resorts to 2D head when mounted...
Modding community hasn't gotten that far yet unfortunately. But compared to the OG graphics its a huge improvement.
Oh, it only take an hour to manually install. Shoot me.
Unfortunately thats the nature of modding most elder scrolls games. Collections and a premium nexus account does make the process quicker. Daggerfall is one of the easier ones to mod in my opinion though
Just add ChatGPT to the NPCs and Daggerfall would beat even Skyrim in terms of immersion!
If you can get by the ugly graphics and the world being dead and empty
That's why I'm here to help add some flavor to that vanilla world. The game has many locations just spread very far apart. It was more of a hardware limitation at the time of creation. Only now are they able to make games that are that large and filled with life and everyone wants to compare that to something that came out almost 30 years ago.
why remaster it, just take the programming and place it into Skyrim.
I would love to see someone turn Skyrim into Daggerfall.
They made a mod that has the main daggerfall quest but it's missing alot of the other features
even ruined with awful mods this 'game' looks terrible. its an objectively bad bland and boring experience that makes your eyes bleed. One of the furthest things from "fun" I have ever had the displeasure to witness.
Couldn't get past tue first dungeon? 😂
Some people choose to get better and some people choose to get mad 😊
D.R.E.A.M sucks... and imagine using vortex
Hey if someone can give me a better program to use that can download and install the mod packages for you I'm all ears. I'm no computer programmer by any means.
I'm on the fence with DREAM some things I like others I dislike.
nice video, but the music is too loud and doesn't really fit
Thanks for the feedback!
