  • Visiting the forgotten grave of Tech Sergeant Carl Lissell Smith of the 325th glider infantry, 82nd Airborne Division killed on D-Day plus 3 June 9th 1944.

    I appreciate your time you give and details you share on the story of these heros paying respects and leaving the American flag is an way to show we do care thank you for letting us do this with you and you taking the time to share a important moment to say thank you ! Not forgotten!

    This is such a wonderful dedication video. I enjoyed your walk through the cemetery and hearing about Ltn Smith. He has a lovely headstone.

      Poor fellow was just a regular guy just like us, left the coal mines and joined the army.
      They never expect to get it, sadly a lot of them did.

      Spring Hill is pretty amazing especially what they call “old circle” and probably the most famous RUclipsr to ever do a video there was Lamont at Large, he did a live there about a year and a half ago 👍 thanks for watching I appreciate it 👍👍👍

      Brave man he was, those were really dangerous and were often referred to as “a controlled crash” by soldiers and pilots who used them.

      @@cemeteryvisits He wasn't a pilot , he was a Chindit. I think a fair few of the glider's crashed , my Father was lucky .
