As always, your videos are extremely resourceful! Keenyn, could you please tell me about the difference between ɒ as in lot and ɑ as in father? Some Geneal American Dialect coaches don't distinguish between the two vowel sounds. My current Midwest American Accent (also known as General American) told me that Midwesterns pronouce words with ɒ like a typical open and flat ɑ as in father. However, the dictionary IPA does distinguish between the two vowel sounds.

Hi ! Thank you for your videos ! I was wondering something; I am an exchange student from France who currently live in the US for 10 months. Even though I know my accent has already improved since I am here (3 months now), I was wondering if it IS possible to completely get rid of my accent one day ? Not necessarily at the end of my year here but at least one day ? I am planning on living in the US later, and I would like to become an actress and I guess it is necessary to have a perfect accent to be in this field. And otherwise, even if I don't become an actress, I would really like to have an accent as good as a native speaker's one. So do you think someone can completely get rid of their accent ? Thank you so much for your content otherwise ! (oh and btw, I am 16)
