This could be anything from adding the bonus from an item when it doesn't apply to your class to changing the die roll because it fell under the table. (At least, that's what I heard.)

I usually hous rule that to go from 9 to 10 the monster must be at least level 10 (this can be from buffs). This rule includes multiplying a lower level monster to gain 2 levels at level 8. If somehow youcan jump from 6-7 to 10 you are golden
True, if you have to hit any specific number, your probability is equal to if you had to hit any other specific number, not including the minimal weight differential that makes it easier to land on higher numbers than lower numbers, because the lower numbers are typically slightly heavier due to less weight removed in the grooves. (Basic Physics classes come in along with Basic Probability classes.) However, this is negated if they're using the die provided with the game, because the 1 side has a picture of Spike carved out, and thus has less weight due to more of the side being removed.

People talking about the weird blurring: Cameras have a feature called "Focus" where they sacrifice resolution from the background to go to the foreground (the closest objects being focused on) so that the human eye can focus on what the editors want us to focus on whenever we look at the video as a whole, instead of focusing our eyes onto one thing. It also gives a better illusion that the objects are farther back. Essentially, its for our eyes' sake.

My boyfriend has this game and I've bought him a bunch of expansions. One of his house rules is that if you're level 9, any monster you pull is automatically bumped to a base level of 20 to make it harder to win.
I usually play that any level above 3 you have to beat an equal or greater level to advance. So no I'm level 8, beat a plant to get to 9, clone the plant to win.

ya guys should play Jumanji. It'd be fitting since Table Flip is a series with a gimmick while Jumanji is a game with a gimmick. So adding the two together would make sense and hell they can reference the movie by having a cast member "finding" the game.
It was kinda painfull to watch this, the constant cuts that jumped over parts of the game, instead of showing us the whole thing from start to finish, which is important in games like this, noone backstabbed anyone ever, they just kept giving away free levels and so on.

I don't like all the skipping in this video. I'm unclear of what's going on & I've played this game numerous of time. Suzi almost won numerous of times but then they just skip over it and it's not her turn anymore. What happened during that step? I had to dislike the video. This is the first TableTop video in a long while and it was just hard to follow for such an easy game. Edit: Video just ended and I changed my liking to THUMBS UP! It's TableTop. How could I not?
Smooth didn't really show the others the 'duplicate himself'card which helped him help ross win, but the card says you can only use that if someone isn't helping you. It takes the place of someone being able to help you but without needing another player.
Normally, I'd cheer on anyone going against Ross for being such an utter dick, but Smooth was on his team, so I was compelled to root for them, instead of Barry & Suzy.
A two-handed sword, some extra weapons, kneepads of allure, a decent opponent and a Simulacrum to boost you up will get you to three-digit levels. Usually that's when someone wises up and uses a transferral potion or some other "Nope!" card that they've been saving up... I've played hundreds if not thousands of games of munchkin, have reached combat strength of 100+ maybe ten times, and NINE out of those ten times I've still lost the encounter somehow when someone goes "Durr!" and polymorphs the enemy into something which equates to all those bonuses amounting to bupkiss. :D
Ross selflessly helped smooth the whole game, and when the tables were turned, smooth helped in return. What beautiful display of friendship and comradery
it hurts so much to see how little they know the rules on this one.. the king tut play was perfectly valid and would have caused them to lose the fight. they wouldn't have had to roll to escape for him, but he still added his combat level
Probably my favourite tabletop game (both Munchkin and its board version, Munchkin Quest). The money I spent on the game and its expansions exceeds 125 dollars, 'nuff said.
I really liked Suzy in this ep so far, it felt like she wasn't holding back and being who she is, which is awesome IMO Plus, is it me or Smooth seem to be like the greatest guy to have around just for fun?

+MoonLiteWolfPro They did charity at least once, so they were probably aware of it and then just forgot. I mean, they kept confusing "kick down a door," "go looking for trouble," and "loot the room" to the point that I had no idea what actually happened on certain turns. Tabletop, this is not.
My boyfriend has this game and I've bought him a bunch of expansions. One of his house rules is that if you're level 9, any monster you pull is automatically bumped to a base level of 20 to make it harder to win.
I usually play that any level above 3 you have to beat an equal or greater level to advance. So no I'm level 8, beat a plant to get to 9, clone the plant to win.
This game of Munchkin wasn't a four way free for all like most games are. This one was Ross and Smooth vs Suzy and Barry.

You can't fight the monsters separately. You have to fight all of them or run away. Should have been a flag on the play.
And you lose Super Munchkin when you lose your class. It's stated right there on the card.

ya guys should play Jumanji. It'd be fitting since Table Flip is a series with a gimmick while Jumanji is a game with a gimmick. So adding the two together would make sense and hell they can reference the movie by having a cast member "finding" the game.
It was kinda painfull to watch this, the constant cuts that jumped over parts of the game, instead of showing us the whole thing from start to finish, which is important in games like this, noone backstabbed anyone ever, they just kept giving away free levels and so on.

I played munchkin a ton in the past aswell, I know games can last a long time, but when they have a elf thief one second and a cut and suddendly someone has 3 more levels and is a halfling wizard its simply not interresting to watch.

I don't like all the skipping in this video. I'm unclear of what's going on & I've played this game numerous of time. Suzi almost won numerous of times but then they just skip over it and it's not her turn anymore. What happened during that step? I had to dislike the video. This is the first TableTop video in a long while and it was just hard to follow for such an easy game.
Edit: Video just ended and I changed my liking to THUMBS UP! It's TableTop. How could I not?
This was actually very amusing. The stand off at the end with the multiple buff/curse cards was quite nice.
Smooth didn't really show the others the 'duplicate himself'card which helped him help ross win, but the card says you can only use that if someone isn't helping you. It takes the place of someone being able to help you but without needing another player.
Thank god Ross won, I don't know why but thank god. I love him!
Normally, I'd cheer on anyone going against Ross for being such an utter dick, but Smooth was on his team, so I was compelled to root for them, instead of Barry & Suzy.

I love Munchkin! We usually played with the modified rules that allow you to go to level 20.
A two-handed sword, some extra weapons, kneepads of allure, a decent opponent and a Simulacrum to boost you up will get you to three-digit levels. Usually that's when someone wises up and uses a transferral potion or some other "Nope!" card that they've been saving up...
I've played hundreds if not thousands of games of munchkin, have reached combat strength of 100+ maybe ten times, and NINE out of those ten times I've still lost the encounter somehow when someone goes "Durr!" and polymorphs the enemy into something which equates to all those bonuses amounting to bupkiss. :D
So cool that Smooth was on Table Flip. He's one of my favorite musical RUclipsrs.

Probably my favourite tabletop game (both Munchkin and its board version, Munchkin Quest). The money I spent on the game and its expansions exceeds 125 dollars, 'nuff said.

Munchkin is a great game for those of you who haven't played it. And yes, towards the end of a game it does usually get that intense but it's also long as you can see. God damn I miss it...
P.S. Also it does have MANY expansions but I recommend just the original for new players
