Hi Lucas and Jen! So happy to see your handsome face little man! The stone is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for posting this. Love from Canada❤
Your son is such a sweet, handsome dude. I love how y’all have bonded over agates and to see how excited he is about his super neat gift. You’re one cool mama, Jennifer!
Will have to check him out. We're members of our local rock club and hubby tumbles a lot of rocks and recently upgraded his 18" rock saw to a 24" one so he can cut bigger rocks.
I had a rock collection when I was in Jr. High. I grew up in KY and there were many pretty rocks lying around in the country outside of the small town we lived in. Mom had geods in TN when she was growing up and they used to bust them open and marval at the amethist(sp?) inside. I used to love going to the Gem and Mineral society show when it would come to Jackson ,MS twice a year. Check to see if they have one in your area, you wouldn't believe some of the stones.
Me and little man watch all the time. You really inspired us to rockhound everywhere we go now. Thanks for the great content, and the education. Our agate is proudly displayed on our mantle!

Great video Little man, you and your mom are a great team
My great grandfather was a notorious rock hound and found all types of rocks! A big enough collection he donated it to a regional museum!
Awesome agates
I'm really glad you enjoyed the agate! It's a Moroccan agate :) That was a hard one to let go of but I am so glad it went to a good home!!

I have been collecting rocks since I was about 6 years old
Some agates are from Kentucky. I guess he was in the place. What is even more rare is blue agate.
So cool
How cool is that!
That's very pretty 🙂
Rubbing the stone is like any repetitive motion.
That is lovely
You can get a rock tumbler for Lucas and hobby lobby has kits of rocks you can tumble or break open
