More characteristic of slag or glasses created by foundry waste. Silica sand was used in metals seperation foundry processes and clinkers produced by coal fire boilers had similar characteristics. Some metals not easily flashed to gas were left in the wake though, such as platinum. Put peroxide on the metalic samples and see if it bubles or foams. Since the platinum family groug of metals would be the only to react with a catylising result then you may find you have some of the pgm group metals to clarify and sell.
This is, perhaps, the best meteor-wrong collection that I have ever seen. I have to hand it to you, I've been collecting meteor-wrongs for years, but your collection is far superior. I started collecting as a kid in Pittsburgh digging into the piles of steel-mill slag, and now more recently, into the mounds of gold mine slag at Eureka, Nevada and Utah. So, I have an appreciation for the dedication, and effort, and time it would take to put together your "collection". But what I don't understand is why you call them "meteorites"? I mean, it's obvious to me that you must know firsthand where these fragments originated. You must know the source of these man-made stones. In your 3rd video you admit to personally finding these fragments, so you know they came from slag-piles of waste material from a man-made process. From the quality of your video, it's obvious that you are smart enough to know that 90 out of 100 comments are going to be stating the obvious, that "it is SLAG!" So, I ask again, why do you insist on calling this a "meteorite collection"?
Fantastic collection George. I really like the way you spin those stones. The music is peaceful, languid, lugubrious. It highlights the Cosmic, or Spiritual journey we all must go on. To find ourselves. Much like meteorites, this is not easy. When I get ready for bed in the evening I do my crunches, have a protein shake and put this on. It is truly remarkable. You have done a great thing here. A lot more people are still alive. Thanks again. Best Regards, Patrick Bateman
Такого обсидиана у нас в лесу полно,особенно в одном месте,где нашла железный,магнитный метеорит,я думаю это от кометы.Там такие здоровенные глыбы лежат.
Thin black crust , no unmelted edges, chondriles bb sized very round , then magnetic ...then polish a window , then list secondary s , thumbprint s an flow lines ,lips and cooling glass shrink cracks ,then match pictures in fat books. Etch the metal , test for the nickle. Spectral test to preclude magnesium. ..then match to know samples , meusium qualiety .
I HAVE a wide assortment of what I believe is meteorites but am unable to verify there authentity have you any advise on how I can establish the origin of any of these items a lot resembles much of what you are displaying I am from the north east of England uk would appreciate any advise you can give me thank you
Just showing us the outside of a rock doesn't prove anything, haven't seen you stick a magnet to any of them, don't see any windows ground into any of them, some seem to have holes or quarts crystals which meteorites do not have.
Congrats on your find brother I have found green space gems, deep blue, light blue, brown, purple, w/ fusion crust on most. Some of the materials from larger Meteorites that lack fusion crust are from the inside of the Meteorite, protected by the outer crust, and then was ejected AFTER coming through the atmosphere, a gaseous explosion during rapid temperature changes. This is not discussed enough and there is no streamlined one stop shop to market and sell and auction Meteorites easily. Christie's Auctions and RR Auctions do it, but it's rare, and difficult to communicate with their Curators, takes several more ths to get an email out of them. What about an app that uses Ai to identify Meteorites and builds a page on a website where yours can be sold? That would be a cool convenient app on smartphones.
Hey, i found exactly the same rocks or whatever they are. Exactly the same color the same surface everythink is same. Please contact with me if u found out what those are. Please write me back
I think I found 2 they stick to magnet there 25 grams and 28 grams I'm in new Mexico and I would like to see about selling and I'm new at it I think I found fossil egg as well
Bi George, I've to think you've done it? You Have Become A Legend in Your Owen Mind! I am very amused by your Meteorong Collection. Meteorites are not formed by Sedimentary Layers! That would require GRAVITY I think? and they are Not, Formed by Pouring molten LED Into a Bucket of Water, Nor over Rocks! + "Breathing that shit will make you do dumb things!" And most of all, They are not formed by melting Plastic!...
These are relics from ancient times which belongs to the Sea People and of Anunnaki. Pay attention to the circular hole as it often tends to indicate ''eye'', the structure and patterns are often animals like snake, bird, dragon and phoenix. Do look into Sumerian art. This is a great find.

Those are leftover iron pieces you collected at the time of your neighbor's house construction.
