This fight isn't that bad, i like it. It's fun.
Unfortunately, On ps4 (slim) there is an annoying framerate drop in the last phase, sometimes dodging doesn't work during amon's special move in the final phase. " He did the special move 3 times in his last phase in second version.
* The combo switch style at the beginning is very replicable every time of course.

Congrats for deadpool no damage - all bosses, I played the game 6 years ago I think.
It's fun for the plat or 100 %, but for no damage i remember basically 0 s :(

I like the story in this game a lot, isn't a problem for me.
But yeah, for some players the narrative focuses way too much on non interactive gameplay, for this reason if you like for example: god of war games for ps3 or bayonetta, ninja gaiden rhythm isn' the best thing in the world. Overall, it all depends on how the story manages to entertain you.
But They improved the combat (tho that was already great in the 2018 game IMO). The Boss fights are creative.

Would you prefer this version of Amon or the original one
I've never been a lover of amon in the old ishin, but because I didn't know well the upgrade/seals system in the Japanese version, i relied on the tiger drop and some weak heat actions for variety against him ( not bosses/long battle or climax battles).
So, i prefer this battle. But in terms of difficulty the original battle.
Note: of course, in ishin difficulty he can kill you in 1 or 2 hits, it depends on your defense or armor.
