Use a heat action right after for extra damage. As soon as he stands up activate Shinada and go ham on him. If he is still not dead get close to him and hold R2 in Wild Dancer style. Lower everybody else's HP and then switch to a sword with item drop rate to increase your chances of getting rare materials. To anyone who is having trouble with dying quickly; make sure to fill your reserve squads in your Trooper card setup. Reserve cards add to your HP pool, so you can more than double your health bar.
@@bonkgameing To be fair, I think at least 60% of people that play this game don't know about this. The reserve squads seemed like some implementation of loadouts that you can easily switch too, so I did not bother until I read this comment.
I suggest using the R2 Special Move instead, it's just a huge spin attack that shreds him and the others as well, so it makes faster runs. Good luck to anyone out there in need for the mats.
For people doing this do note, since there is an extremely large pool of items, you could get everything in 1 hour or nothing in 4. This is even with a lot of drop rate seals (I had one maxed on my sword and 6 drop rate seals (2 maxed and 4 enhanced once)) where i got a total of 3 dragon eyes and 4 of the whiskers and fangs for 3 days of straight doing this. Conclusion, getting plat for this game is a rng grind fest. Additional notes for people who want to do this: Do it on easy The drop rate seals only affect whether an enemy in the fight is going to drop an item, it does not affect the item dropped being rarer (at least from personal experience)
@@phantom219 it’s made slightly worse by the fact it only counts if you craft the equipment, it’s a lot of rng and I just gave up. Also the seal grinding makes it even worse

i found the corporal trooper that heals based on the number of x weapon troopers you have heals for a crazy amount and that it actually lets you face tank everything for a long period
I have the sumo wrestler as the corporal for the gunman style. When my health is low, I switch to it and run in circles around enemies until it's full.

At the Barracks talk to the dude in charge of the troopers and dungeon missions. Go to any squad to customize and there should be an option to change card use from automatic to manual.

Alternatively, you can strip armor with R2 wild dancer, finish Sanada, and gun everyone down with dragon hawk or vortex. Can even build the guns for drop rate.

I show the seals for weapons at 2:18. Armor doesn't really matter. I was switching to the Jelly Blade cause the drop rate % is higher on it. You can either equip seals on your main weapon or switch to the Jelly blade since they will be slightly higher. Some say that only the weapon that deals the final blow affects the drop rate while others say everything helps. Still not sure 100%. You can always avoid switching weapons and kill everyone as fast as possible. That would make the run even faster.
There is nothing to fix, this is not a glitch. There have been no nerfs and drop rates were increased. Just gotta keep going and don't give up on the grind.
@@GODzLIMBO It was still working even at low levels. The cards will reach level 99 while grinding the materials so no need to worry about that. Also fill out your reserve squads as well for even more HP.

seriously, this is a mess, and I highly recommend the virtue seal on a gun to max out damage to make this faster.
So the different difficulty affect xp or not? I thought a greater difficulty would enable me to gain more xp

Did the same and finished the farm couple days ago, wasn't worth it as amons sword is nerfed :(
It is a farm lvl 77 got 11 eyes 15 whiskers 5 fangs 😢 them fangs are a pain but still at it cant wait for the lord of Dragon sword
